The at least one top panel has a handle portion for forming a handle of the carrier and a retaining portion having container receiving openings for receiving the containers in the carrier. The carrier includes a reinforcement flap adjacent at least one of the container receiving openings for contacting at least one of the plurality of containers.

Abstract: The present invention is, in one embodiment, an apparatus for placing an insert within a nested group of taco shells. The insert placement apparatus comprises a vertical shaft, a horizontal shaft, a first pillow block, a second pillow block, a vacuum cup, a horizontal timing belt, an air cylinder, and a servomotor. The vacuum cup is adapted to transport the insert. The first pillow block has a bore therethrough for receiving the horizontal shaft. The second pillow block is supported off of the first pillow block and has a bore therethrough for receiving the vertical shaft. The vacuum cup is suspended off of the vertical shaft. The horizontal belt is routed around a drive pulley and a second pulley and is interconnected to the first pillow block. The servomotor is interconnected to the drive pulley. The servomotor causes the timing belt to displace the first pillow block along the horizontal shaft, thereby causing the vacuum cup to displace horizontally.

When the blank is pressed into the apparatus, corner panels of the blank are initially folded by folding surfaces of the apparatus so that the corner panels are disposed inside side panel surfaces of the blank, which are folded by other folding surfaces of the apparatus. The apparatus further includes folding surfaces for folding the side and end panels of the blank into a vertical position. A base panel of the blank, and the side panels, end panels and the corner panels which are attached to the base panel, are received in an interior aperture of the apparatus during folding of the blank to form the box.

Abstract: A package for containing tablets or like separate dispensable items is provided having so-called child-resistant and senior-friendly storage and dispensing properties. An elongate outer sleeve houses a separate blister card carrying tablets or like items. The card slides into the sleeve to a storage position in which the card is housed within the outer sleeve and slides in the reverse direction to a dispensing position in which the card at least partially extends from the open end of the sleeve. The sleeve includes an internal locking restriction secured to a wall thereof, and the card includes a tail end having an integral latch. The locking restriction and latch cooperate to form a locking engagement thereby locking the card within the sleeve when the card is in the storage position. The sleeve includes visually defined squeeze locations on opposite side edges thereof that correspond to a location of the internal locking restriction.

The blank construct has five sides, including four sides and a bottom side, and an open top. The bag construct surrounds all four sides, the bottom, and the open top. The package includes a dispensing flap that provides access to contents, and the dispensing flap can be hinged about a hinge line or that can be removed entirely from the package. Any variance in density of product in the package can be accommodated by the stiff, yet flexible, sides of the package.

Abstract: A method of making a paper packing box of the present invention comprises the following steps: step 1, providing a base board, an inner layer paper, and an outer layer paper; step 2, separately pasting the inner layer paper and the outer layer paper to the two surfaces of the base board; step 3, defining a plurality of grooves at the surface of the base board which is pasted with the inner layer paper, to form a polygonal panel surrounded by the plurality of grooves, and a plurality of side boards connected to the edges of the panel; step 4, providing viscous glue on the side walls of the grooves; step 5, folding the side boards to be substantially vertical to the panel, connecting each side wall of the groove to another corresponding side wall of the groove via viscous glue, thereby forming the finished product of the paper packing box. The method of making a paper packing box of the present invention is simple, and greatly increases the production efficiency, thereby reducing the cost.

Notches in an outer surface of the rim receive bendable locking strips on the lid skirt to lock the lid in position on the bin, and locking tongues on a first skirt panel are engageable in respective locking slots in an adjacent second skirt panel to hold the skirt panels in their operative downwardly folded positions. A tray and liner insert may be positioned in the bin, and a fluid-containing bag may be placed in the liner.
