Abstract: A scaffold including a pair of scaffold frames has a scaffold platform supported by the frames, which is defined by a series of planks and includes an opening. The opening is formed by a pair of transverse support members that extend between the pair of planks at a location between the scaffold frames. Partial-length scaffold planks, having first and second ends and a length less than the space between the scaffold frames, are supported by the transverse support members and occupy the space between the planks other than at the opening. The transverse support member includes spaced-apart plank engagement sections that rest on upwardly facing surfaces of the planks, and a plank end support member that extends between the plank engagement sections. A scaffolding platform system and a method of forming a scaffolding platform are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for creating an interior wall panel, such as for a residential structure, is described. The method includes providing an electronic template for an interior wall. The template may define at least one interior wall opening. At least one feature for all or part of the wall is selected. The feature may be such a color, design and/or pattern. The feature is imaged on a first substrate when the interior wall opening is imaged. A second substrate may be similarly imaged. Abstract: A supplemental window for fenestration suitable for use with existing windows. The supplemental window, in one embodiment, comprises a frame with plastic sheet material stretched across it. An attachment mechanism secured to the frame functions to fasten the supplemental window to an existing window. The attachment mechanism can be a suction cup or adhesive for example. A seal attached to the frame functions to trap a volume of air between the window pane and the plastic sheet material. An aesthetic covering and draft inhibiting mechanism are also provided. The supplemental window is configured such that the layer of trapped air is of an optimum thickness of 0.15 to 0.75 inches to maximize thermal insulation properties of the supplemental window.

Abstract: The present invention disclosed an apparatus for reverse rectification, relating to the field of civil engineering technology. The apparatus for reverse rectification comprises two sets of steel plate hooks, which are reversely arranged and respectively fixed on the building and the skewed large-scale structure that needs to be rectified, and a jack which is horizontally placed on the steel plate hooks. The steel plate hooks, which are driven by the jack, push the skewed structure towards the existed building, whereby the skewed structure and the existed building can be spliced correctly. This present invention has more advantages, e.g. simple structure and convenient operability, which can improve the construction efficiency and reduce the construction costs. Abstract: A cladding reinforcement system and method for attaching a cladding material to a substructure are provided in this disclosure. The cladding reinforcement system utilizes a cladding reinforcement anchor to provide a large surface area for resisting the forces in high wind applications. In some implementations, the cladding reinforcement anchor has a flat front surface that is adapted to be fastened to the cladding panel. The front surface of the cladding reinforcement anchor is sufficiently flat so that it can be sandwiched between two cladding panels without creating any visible space between the cladding panels. In some other implementations, the cladding reinforcement anchor includes a web having first and second spaced apart edges configured to define a predetermined width for locating the cladding reinforcement anchor against an upper edge of a cladding panel. Fixing indicators can be located on the flat front surface to provide targets for nails or other fasteners.
