Abstract: The invention is a postoperative binder and method of use. The binder is made of relatively inelastic material that is cut to fit the patient and held in place by a plurality of tails fastened with Velcro® binders. The present invention uses mechanical, rather than elastic, compression. Mechanical loads are carried over the iliac crest, by hooking the tails of the binder over the iliac crest and then bifurcating the tails for attachment to the abdominal portion of the binder. The present invention provides support of lower abdominal tissue, especially near the genitals and in the area of the peritoneum.

Abstract: A male genitalia support garment has a posterior testicular strap portion extending from a waist band portion of the garment. The posterior testicular strap portion is designed to be positioned behind the scrotum and the testicles to provide support to the wearer's scrotal contents. The posterior testicular strap portion is made of a generally unyielding material in the dynamic state so that a constant, non-variable amount of support is provided to the wearer.

Abstract: A diaper to eliminate bed sores includes a front section, a back section and a middle section extending longitudinally between the front section and the back section. The middle section includes a liquid-permeable inner sheet, a liquid-impermeable outer sheet aligned with and secured to the inner sheet, and an absorbent body disposed between the inner sheet and the outer sheet. The middle section includes an aperture extending through the inner sheet and the absorbent body and the outer sheet and having a thickened portion completely surrounding the aperture. The aperture is adapted to be located over a bed sore on a body of person with the middle portion disposed between legs of the person and the front section disposed in front of the person and the back section disposed in back of the person and attached to the front portion when the diaper is in use.

Abstract: The phimosis curing appliance according to the present invention allows a surplus prepuce in a pseudophimosis condition to be forcedly retracted toward a root of a human penis so that a glans of the penis can be surely kept in an exposed condition for a long time, and the appliance has a simplified structure suitable for standardization and mass production. The phimosis curing appliance 1 comprises an annulus waist holding belt 2 supportable on a human waist; a resiliently stretchable supporting belt 3 suspended from the waist holding belt to form a region through which the human penis extends; a resiliently stretchable traction belt 4 for connecting a rear portion 2b of the waist holding belt and the supporting belt; and a scrotum biasing zone 5 provided in a joint area of the supporting belt and the traction belt. An upper end portion of the supporting belt is connected to the waist holding belt and the scrotum biasing zone is drawn inward of the human groin by the traction belt.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a cold compress especially adapted for applying cooling effect to the human genitalia. The invention includes a holder that can fit around the waist of a human having a pouch for holding a cooling member. The cooling member can be easily inserted in and remove from the pouch, and a number of cooling members can be used, so that a constant cooling effect can be applied to the human genitalia for the purposes of relieving trauma.

Abstract: The device according to this invention is provided to reduce the trauma which can be caused by an open wound such as that caused after childbirth and in particular to reduce the trauma of an open wound in the perineal and/or rectal area which can be painful and uncomfortable to a person having experienced childbirth. The device comprises a housing having a gel-like material therein which can be cooled prior to application to the area and said material has a high thermal capacity so that when the device is applied a cooling effect is created, an occluding effect of the open wound is provided and furthermore a cushioning effect on the area surrounding the wound is also provided thereby allowing the device to be used comfortably and also to improve the comfort of the person to whom the same is applied.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a haemostatic circumcision bandage comprising a bandage body made of a pliable waterproof material and of a unitary configuration. The bandage has a shaft supporting portion adapted to be wrapped around an entire penile shaft protecting it against contamination and a body attachment portion connected to the shaft supporting portion, which is adapted to be temporarily attached to a wearer's body and provided to keep the bandage in place. The bandage also has a resilient pad placed on the shaft supporting portion, which is adapted to facilitate haemostasis by means of applying a gentle even compression, as well as an absorbent pad placed over the resilient pad, which is provided to help absorb blood and promote healing a wound caused by circumcision.

This men's garment is devoid of any between-the-legs structures used to hold the garment in place on the body or otherwise cover any portion of the buttocks. This garment's scrotal pouch employs a means of securement around the base of the scrotum and is secured to the front piece in a manner that, in conjunction with the waistband, holds the front piece in a downward position and inward toward the groin.

The sporting belt apparatus includes elastic means for conforming the sporting belt tightly to the waist of a wearer.

This separate receptions of scrotum and phallus prevents the skin to skin contact of the wearer and the net of the scrotum nest improves the circulation of air, thereby preventing an undue moistening of the groin and thus the various diseases arising therefrom.

The bandage comprises a generally "L"-shaped cover member having an adhesive undersurface, wherein the longer leg of the "L" is comprised of a single strip of the cover member and the shorter leg of the "L" is comprised of three adjacent short strips of the cover member. In use, the three short strips which define the shorter leg of the "L" are adhered to the base of the penis and to the patient's skin adjacent the base of the penis, whereas the strip which defines the longer leg of the "L" is wrapped circumferentially around the shaft of the penis and around the dressing positioned on the penis.
