The dispensing container is therefore compact and the user can hold the dispensing container as if the user holds a pen and use the thumb, the index finger, and any other finger to apply pressure to the dispensing container so as to dispense a drug solution. A heat insulating grip is attached to the outer circumferential surface of the container body, whereby heat originating from the body temperature of a finger of the user will not be transferred to the drug solution or volatilize it. No excessive dispensing that is not intended by the user will therefore occur. Since the container body is thin and hence unlikely crashed, the user can make adjustment of the pressure applied by the thumb, the index finger, and any other finger to readily extract a single droplet.

The apparatus comprises two rocker arms, where each of the rocker arms (2) on one side of a hinge (3) has a jaw (4) for placing on the eyelids, and a wing (5) on the opposite side of the hinge, thereat by manual compression of the wings, and the thereby caused rotation of the rocker arms around the hinge, to force the jaws and thus the eyelids apart. The apparatus comprises a connecting part for connection to a liquid container of aerosol type (13) with a pressure valve (14). The rocker arms are connected to a pressure device configured by compression of the wings to press the pressure valve into the liquid container and thereby cause the release of liquid from the liquid container, thus the onset of release of liquid is simultaneous with the compression of the jaws forcing the eyelids apart.

Abstract: An emergency eyewash station and dispensing structure therefore is disclosed. The emergency eyewash station includes a main body configured and arranged to hold and dispense eyewash fluid therefrom, an actuator arm assembly movable from a closed position to an open position, and a dispensing structure having an eyepiece sealed by a membrane. The eyepiece is in fluid connection with the eyewash fluid contained in the main body. The dispensing structure is removably coupled to the actuator arm assembly such that when the actuator arm assembly is moved from the closed position to the open position, the membrane is unsealed and the eyewash fluid dispenses from the eyepiece.

Abstract: A dispensing tip apparatus for an eye drop dispenser to administer topical ophthalmic solutions is described. The apparatus integrates an ophthalmic solution-dispensing tip with an optical gauging assembly. The tip provides continuous visual feedback about it orientation and relationship to the eye. The dispensing tip when attached to any standard topical ophthalmic solution dispensing bottle or reservoir enables the user to view a target, visually align the dispenser tip, and administer an eye drop with precision. There is also a visual feedback by which the dispenser tip is prevented from gaining too close proximity and contacting the eye, thus preventing contamination of the medication and its dispenser. The visual feedback can also contain textual or graphic information that serves as a promotional advertisement. The is assembly can be attached to the neck of an eye drop bottle or attached to the tip of an eye drop bottle.

Abstract: A dispenser cap for an eye-drop container includes a cap holder, an eyelid-engaging member, and a cap enclosure pivotally extended from the cap holder alongside the eyelid-engaging member. The eyelid-engaging member has topside adapted for contacting with an eyelid of a user to maintain the eyelid in an opened position. The cap enclosure is outwardly folded away from the eyelid-engaging member for exposing the dispensing nozzle and is folded in to engage with the eyelid-engaging member to create a nozzle cavity for enclosing the dispensing nozzle. Therefore, the dispenser cap not only provides a sealing device for enclosing the dispensing nozzle of the eye-drop container but also forms an eyelid retractor for maintaining the eyelid of the user in an opened position and aligning the dispensing nozzle to the eye of the user.
