Abstract: Drug delivery systems and methods involve associating unique keys to patients. Medication intended for a patient is then locked in a container that may only be unlocked with the particular unique key associated with that patient or a master key. The master key may have a counter to count the number of times that it is used, so as to discourage unnecessary use of the master key. The medication containers may be locked with template locks that are subsequently encoded to be unlocked by a particular unique key.

Abstract: A loading door safety lock for locking a loading dock in a closed position and for retaining the keys of a vehicle to prevent inadvertent drive-offs. The loading door safety lock generally includes a base member which is mounted to a loading dock door directly beneath its door latch housing. A cover member is hingedly secured to the base member. When the cover member is engaged with the base member in a closed position, the latch of the door latch housing may be locked in place to prevent the loading dock door from being opened. Further, the keys of a driver may be placed in a key storage compartment within the base member to prevent the driver from driving off while the truck is being loaded or unloaded through the loading dock door.

The storage portion has a storage portion housing which partly forms the main body housing, a storage portion room for storing objects, a storage portion lid, an electric lock for keeping the lid locked, and a controller for controlling locking and unlocking of the electric lock in response to input of predetermined information. The weight portion has a weight portion housing which partly forms the main body housing, a weight potion room for storing weight substance, and openings for the substance to be filled in and released from the room.

Abstract: A dispenser housing has a closure mechanism that serves to hold the dispenser housing closed. A key either can be carried by an individual to be employed to override the closure mechanism to permit the opening of the dispenser or can be selectively mounted to the dispenser housing to position a release mechanism appropriately to permit the release mechanism to be manipulated to override the closure mechanism. When the key is not mounted to the dispenser, the release mechanism cannot be appropriately manipulated to override the closure mechanism.

Abstract: A lockable container arrangement includes an interior and an exterior, the container includes a base part, a cover pivotally attached to the base part for displacement between a closed position in which the cover and the base delimit a substantially enclosed space and an open position, a lock mounted on the container, the lock including a lock catch operable from the exterior of the container, which lock catch engages a receiving portion to lock the container. The container arrangement can be selectively set in a key operated mode where the lock catch is operable by a key, or in a push button operated mode where the lock catch is operable by the application of a force onto the lock by a user.

Abstract: A locking system including a lock box and a locking bar. The locking bar configured as an elongated member which engages a loading hook of a roll-off container. The locking bar including at least one hole defined therethrough and configured to engage a hasp of a lock. The lock box has an opening defined therethrough and is configured to receive a first portion of the length of the locking handle so that when the locking handle is engaged with the hook a second portion of the length of the locking handle projects from the lock box. This second portion includes at least one of the aforementioned holes and functions to receive a locking hasp. An alternative locking system including a locking sleeve preventing engagement of a bar of a roll-off storage container.

Abstract: A system for managing liquid supply suitable for a process equipment with a liquid tank is disclosed. The system includes a host, a data-reading tool, a system controller and a tank-locking device. The host stores a built-in liquid database. The data-reading tool used for reading data related to the liquid tank is electrically connected to the host. The host receives the data related to the liquid tank from the data-reading tool, and the received data mapped with the liquid database. The system controller drives the tank-locking device according to the signal from the host to whether or not allow replacement of the liquid tank.

Abstract: An application for a safe or strong box attachment mechanism that attaches to a bed system includes a barbed plate that has barbs. The barbed plate readily inserts between a box spring and a mattress, but due to the barbs, is difficult to remove without lifting the mattress from the box spring making it at least difficult to remove by, for example, children in the home. In some embodiments, the safe (or strong box) has a revolving door that, when a proper code/combination/biometric is provided, rotatably opens to expose the contents.

Abstract: An electronic locking system to secure consumable items in an image forming device and a method therefore. In one embodiment of the invention, an electronic locking system to secure media sheets includes a media tray to hold media sheets, a tray receiving member for receiving the media tray, and a controller. The tray receiving member includes a drive device and a plunger. The plunger is moved by the drive device between a locked and an unlocked position. The controller is configured to control the drive device to move the plunger to engage a portion of the media tray in the locked position and to move the plunger to disengage from the portion of the media tray in the unlocked position. The electronic locking system, incorporating the controller, provides an effective and efficient way to lock/unlock the media tray and eliminates the use of mechanical keys.

Abstract: A box contains a motorized latch for locking the lid of the box and a GPS device for determining a geo-location. The box also contains an electronic controller, which is programmed with a predetermined geo-location and is programmed for driving the latch and a display. The controller is programmed to cause the display to show distances to the predetermined geo-location in response to actuations of a push button mounted on the box. The controller is also responsive to respective current locations. The controller is programmed to disengage the latch If a distance indicated by the GPS device to the predetermined geo-location is less than a predetermined distance, revealing whatever treasures have been hidden inside the box.

Abstract: A combination locking arrangement includes a locking member, a locking lever connected to the locking member; and at least first and second tumbler discs rotatable about a tumbler disc axis. When each of the tumbler discs is rotated to an unlocking orientation, the locking lever engages aligned recesses in the tumbler discs, such that further rotation of the tumbler discs moves the locking member from the locking position to the releasing position. A dial is rotatable about the tumbler disc axis for selective rotation of the tumbler discs, and includes a drive portion rotationally secured in interlocking engagement with the first tumbler disc in one of a plurality of code selecting orientations. The locking lever includes a disc securing portion positioned to prevent axial disengagement of the first tumbler disc from the dial drive portion when the locking lever is engaged with the aligned recesses in the tumbler discs.

When both the interlock sensor switch and the auxiliary sensor switch are closed, the internal alarm system of the EAS alarm tag is armed and set to ON, and if any one of the interlocking sensor switch and the auxiliary sensor switch is tampered, an alarm (external the EAS alarm tag and or) of the EAS alarm tag is triggered.

The locking mechanism holds the latch assembly in a latching position when the locking mechanism is in a locked condition and allows the latch assembly to move to an unlatching position when the locking mechanism is in an unlocked condition. The opening member is movable from a normal position to an opening position. When the locking mechanism is in the unlocked condition, movement of the opening member to the opening position moves the latch assembly from the latching position to the unlatching position. The opening member is operatively connected to the latch assembly by a compressible member, such that when the locking mechanism is in the locked condition, movement of the opening member to the opening position compresses the compressible member without moving the latch assembly out of the latching position.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a zipper lock that includes an actuator operatively connected to an actuation plate and a blocking plate positioned relative to the actuation plate so as to at least partially block the movement of the actuation plate when the zipper lock is in the locked configuration. The actuator and the actuation plate are configured for interaction so as to transform movement of the actuator into movement of the actuation plate when the zipper lock is in an unlocked configuration. The zipper lock further includes a latch control plate operatively connected to the actuator, and operatively connected to a latch, in which the latch includes a locking finger configured for locking engagement with at least one locking head that is configured to retain a zipper pull tab to the zipper lock when the zipper lock is in a locked configuration.

Abstract: A camera security system for securely detecting, recording and alerting the authorities of an attempted intrusion into a safe or other secure storage device. The camera security system generally includes a secure storage device having a door, a combination lock for selectively opening the door of the secure storage device and a sensor for detecting the positioning and movement of the combination lock. A recording device and communications device are provided and adapted to activate upon movement of the combination lock from a preset position. The recording device will preferably be concealed within a dial grip of the combination lock. Upon activation, the recording device will begin recording audio and/or video of the intrusion and the communications device will transmit an alarm signal to emergency responders.

When the lock is in the locked position, the sled arresting mechanism prevents the unlatching of the container. The locking mechanism is resistant to drill attack due to its vertical configuration and positioning of a cover on the center post.

Abstract: Timed security box comprising a housing, where the housing contains a plurality of items; a door attached to the housing, where the door opens on a hinge; a locking mechanism fastened to the door wherein the locking mechanism locks the door and allows access into the housing on a date and a time inputted by a user. To use the timed security box the user places an item into the housing, then closing the door. Next they enter the date and time into the locking mechanism. A recipient is then informed of when the date and time will arrive. On the date and time the timed security box may be opened automatically by the recipient or by using a pass code.

Abstract: A theft deterrent enclosure that eliminates unauthorized access is disclosed. The enclosure includes a door assembly having three sides and a wrapper assembly having three sides that mate to form a lockable enclosure. A key lock cylinder is mounted in a lock opening of the door assembly such that it blocks the lock opening in a locked position. A keyed interface operates a fastener, such as a compression latch, threaded coupling or lock plate, which is mounted on the door assembly such that the fastener secures the door assembly and the wrapper assembly in a closed position. The keyed interface is positioned on an interior side of the enclosure that is opposite and aligned with the lock opening. A guide sleeve is positioned inside the enclosure that guides a security keyed tool inserted through the lock opening toward the keyed interface.

An attachment clip is releasably snap-fitted into the body of the security device. The ratchet mechanism includes a spool and a locking pawl or lever. A key is used to unlock the clip from the housing. An alarm system is contained in the housing and actuates an audible alarm upon certain unauthorized actions occurring. Insertion of the clip into the housing automatically actuates the ratchet mechanism preventing movement of the cable in the unwind direction and activates the alarm system.

Abstract: A security storage container has a primary security feature that is adapted to be locked and unlocked with an appropriate key. A secondary security feature is activated when the security storage container is opened without first unlocking the lock with the key. In one embodiment, the secondary security feature includes prongs that are moved to an extended position when the primary security feature of the container is defeated. In the extended position, the prongs will at least damage the item of merchandise protected by the security storage container. The extended position of the prongs may also further lock the item of merchandise within the security storage container.

Abstract: A bottle cap includes a reservoir; a screw cap; a magnetic lock comprising a magnetically actuated spring bolt on the reservoir, and a hole on the cap; a fingerprint scanner on the reservoir; and a battery powered controller on bottom of the reservoir for fingerprint identification and fingerprint storing. In response to placing a finger on the fingerprint scanner, the fingerprint scanner and the controller are activated, the fingerprint scanner captures a fingerprint from the finger and converts the fingerprint into digital signals which are sent to the controller, the controller compares the digital signals with the fingerprint record(s), if matching the bolt will be compressed to clear the hole with the clearing being kept for a time to disengage the cap from the reservoir, and thereafter the controller and the fingerprint scanner will be deactivated and the bolt will bounce back to its locked position.

The mounting module includes an interior space for holding the portable safe and an access control system for locking the portable safe within the interior space of the mounting module. The access control system allows access by an authorized user and denies access of the weapon within the portable safe to an unauthorized user. The weapon is contained in the tray, the tray is retained in the portable safe and the portable safe is held in the interior space of the mounting module.

Abstract: A dispenser having a storage compartment may hold a blister package or other object. The blister package may be slid in and out of the dispenser through an opening. Corner latches pivotally attached to the dispenser on either side of the opening move between a first position and a second position. In the first position, a portion of the corner latches extend into the opening thereby preventing the object from being removed from the dispenser. The corner latches are moved to the second position such that the corner latches no longer block the opening to the dispenser so that the blister package may be removed.

Abstract: An electronic lock box contains a mechanical structure that allows the lock box to work in several different mechanical states. A first state is a key compartment door unlocking state, while a second state is a shackle release state. A third state is a “soft lock” state, which allows the key compartment door to be closed, or the shackle to be re-installed, and once this has occurred, the door will not fall open, and the shackle will not fall out.
