The first parameters may include a first time range, a pairing of the electronic device to a first apparatus, a first geolocation of the electronic device, and a first maximum transaction value. The second parameters may include a second time range, a pairing of the electronic device to a second apparatus, a second geolocation of the electronic device, and a second maximum transaction value, wherein the second time range does not include the first time range.

Abstract: A method for authenticating a transaction includes: receiving, by a transaction processing unit of a computing system, a request for a transaction on a user account; generating, by the transaction processing unit, a personal identification number (PIN) and/or alert message; transmitting the PIN to a mobile device associated with the user account after a person requesting the transaction refuses authentication by a PIN-to-device process; and canceling, by the transaction processing unit, the transaction when a response to the PIN and/or alert message is received from the mobile device within a specified period of time.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include computerized systems and methods that generate secured blockchain-based ledger structures that facilitate event-based control of tracked assets. In one embodiment, an apparatus associated with a rules authority of the secured blockchain-based ledger may obtain data indicative of an initiated transfer of funds between parties, and may access and decrypt a set of restrictions imposed on the initiated transfer and a set of rules associated with the restrictions, which may hashed into the secured blockchain-based ledger using a confidentially-held master cryptographic key. The apparatus may determine that the initiated transfer violates at least one of the restrictions, and may perform operations consistent with at least one of the rules associated with the at least one violated restriction.

Abstract: A privacy management system that is adapted for, in the course of processing a particular data subject access request, automatically determining a type of the data subject access request, such as: (1) a request to delete personal data of the requestor that is being stored by a particular organization; (2) a request to provide, to the requestor, personal data of the requestor that is being stored by the particular organization; (3) a request to update personal data of the requestor that is being stored by the particular organization; and (4) a request to opt out of having the particular organization use the requestor's personal information in one or more particular ways. Abstract: Among other things, embodiments of the present disclosure can help predict the optimal allocation for effecting payment transactions from, or deposit transactions to, multiple aggregated financial accounts for a user, even across accounts held in different countries or denominated in different currencies. For example, parking data for a parking region, such as a parking lot, may be obtained from one or more data sources (e.g., vehicle sensor data, a parking lot camera, parking meter transaction data, etc.). Routes from a current location of a vehicle to available parking spaces within the parking region may be computed. The routes may be ranked based upon various criteria, such as convenience, congestion, travel time, travel distance, a parking space fill order, etc. A route, having a rank above a threshold (e.g., a highest ranked route), may be provided to a driver of the vehicle, such as through a vehicle navigation unit, a mobile device, a wearable device, etc. The route may be provided to autonomous driving functionality of the vehicle for automatic routing and navigation of the vehicle to the parking space.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure generally pertain to a vehicle inhibitor with an enhanced user interface and a system and method for overriding a vehicle inhibitor. Abstract: A system and method for using asymmetrical offsets for products in a risk management analysis system are disclosed. Conventional systems assign symmetrical offsets for products, that is, if two products have an 80% correlation they each would be assigned an offset of 80% with respect to each other. However, it is desirable to allow for asymmetrical offsets. In the disclosed system and method, when two products have a correlation of 80%, one may be assigned an offset of 75% and the other may be assigned an offset of 80%. There are many reasons to vary the offset between the products. The varying offset may reflect an asymmetry in the risk in one of the products, such as being traded in an illiquid market or in a less desirable venue. The varying offset may correct for an imbalance in spread credits due to special charges from intra spreading.

The multi-lender architecture transforms the rules in each rule set and represents the rules in a normalization grid. The method comprises: acquiring network traffic of a target moment within a first period by sampling, then querying a traffic period change curve acquired in advance, determining predicted traffic corresponding to the target moment, and confirming a DDoS attack if the network traffic acquired by sampling is larger than the determined predicted traffic. The traffic period change curve is used for indicating a period change law of the predicted traffic, so that before DDoS attack detection is performed at each target moment, it only needs to determine the predicted traffic corresponding to the target moment according to the traffic period change curve without calculating the predicted traffic according to massive historical traffic data before each DDoS attack detection; and the calculation volume is reduced.

The user may be authenticated as part of a financial transaction or as part of a login process for a computing device. The user device was previously bound or associated with the user. During the authentication, a system (e.g., a financial institution computing system or a backend authentication system) requests location information from the user device. The location information may be packaged as a digital fingerprint of the user device, which can only be created from the user device. Based on the location information, the user can be authenticated thereby approving the transaction or login request.

Abstract: A system and method provide for enhanced in-lobby-teller (ILT) machines. A banking system includes a local switch, a bank core, a teller terminal, and an ILT machine. The teller terminal allows a bank teller to approve customer requests entered at an ILT. The ILT receives requests and determines if teller approval is needed for the request. If so, the request is forwarded to a teller/teller terminal. When approved, an indication is set in the banking request and the now approved request is sent back to the ILT machine. The ILT machine detects the approval indication and transmits the request to the external-partner switch. This switch returns the transaction request to the local bank switch for forwarding to the bank core. The core may update account information associated with the banking request and then route it back to the ILT where any remaining tasks of the transaction request are completed.

The monitored information is then analyzed to identify one or more characteristics (e.g., location of the user) of the user. A rating of invalidity of the transaction is generated based on the one or more characteristics, where the rating of invalidity refers to the likelihood that the transaction is likely to be anomaly, such as a suspicious transaction. If the rating exceeds a threshold, then an anomaly may be said to have occurred. By identifying anomalous behavior using both social media and non-social media sources, anomalous activities that truly occurred will be more accurately detected.

The computer system may support a capability of automatically establishing communications sessions between the user devices. For example, the computer system may receive audio data from a voice controlled device (VCD). Abstract: A semantic document generation system is described. The semantic document is composed of document details, people and meta-data. The semantic document is self-aware of the information it contains. The semantic document's structure and terms are governed by legal, logical and party related rules. A semantic contract can be created from a semantic document generation system. The semantic document generation system receives an indication of a type of a document to be generated and plurality of terms for the document from a plurality of sources. The terms are converted into triples. A plurality of rules governing the terms of the document is applied to the triples to generate a knowledge graph and determine whether terms from the different parties are compatible. The terms are determined to be compatible in a case where the plurality of rules governing terms of the document is satisfied.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to location-based blockchain. A localized corroborator system can receive, from a user device, an initiation message including a public key, and in response, can generate and send the random session identifier to the user device. The system can receive, from the user device, a signed session identifier including the random session identifier signed by the user device using a private key. The system can check a time that elapsed between sending the random session identifier to the user device and receiving the signed session identifier from the user device. The system can verify authenticity of the signed session identifier using the public key. In response to the time being less than a pre-defined threshold, the system can issue a location certificate to the user device. The user device can utilize the location certificate to conduct a certified blockchain transaction in a blockchain.
