Abstract: A method for facilitating transactions is provided. Various users register their payment modes to avail a payment mode interchange service offered by a server for online purchases. During registration, the users specify corresponding offer amounts in exchange for allowing purchases of other users to be performed by using their payment modes. When an offer on a purchase is not applicable on a payment mode of a first user, the first user is recommended by the server to make the purchase by using a payment mode of a second user on which the offer is applicable. The payment mode of the second user is charged with a purchase amount of the purchase and the offer amount specified by the second user is billed on the payment mode of the first user. The second user receives the offer amount and the first user receives an incentive associated with the offer.

Abstract: A distributed enhanced payment processing system includes a merchant point of sale (POS) terminal system and a remote payment management system. The POS terminal system initiates a transaction that includes receiving a payment amount, a purchaser account identifier, a virtual electronic payment indicator, and a merchant ID via a payment client. Subsequently, the POS terminal system outputs the transaction to the remote payment management system which generates a token for the transaction. The payment management system then provides the purchaser account identifier, a merchant account identifier, and the payment amount to a remote virtual electronic payment (VEP) entity system. Upon receiving a VEP entity system response, the payment management system outputs the response and token to the POS terminal system.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for deploying containers in a decentralized network computing environment includes: registering a predetermined amount of computing resources reserved by a plurality of computing devices for utilization as a worker node for running containers; receiving a request from a consumer node to provide services for deployment of a container workload; selecting at least a first computing device from the plurality of computing devices to serve as the worker node for deployment of the container workload; obtaining unidirectional control over a portion of the predetermined amount of computing resources reserved by at least the first computing device; and deploying the container workload on at least the first computing device. A corresponding computer system and computer program product are also disclosed.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to classifying transactions using post-transaction information. Training architecture may be used to train a first classifier module using first data for a set of transactions as training data input, where the first data includes both pre-transaction information and post-transaction information for transactions in the set of transactions. During training of the first classifier module, in disclosed techniques, correct classifications for the transaction in the set of transactions are known. The training architecture, in disclosed techniques, generates respective weights for multiple transactions in the set of transactions based on classification outputs of the trained first classifier for the multiple transactions. In disclosed techniques, the training architecture trains a second classifier module, based on the generated weights, using second data for the set of transactions as training data input.

Abstract: Based on detecting a selection, by a first user, of a group payment option on a merchant interface, the computer system launches a user selection user interface that includes one or more user selection interface elements that correspond to one or more users associated with the first user. Based on detecting a selection of one or users, the computer system launches a group payment user interface that includes one or more payment allocation user interface elements that corresponds to a payment allocation for the selected users. Based on detecting a confirmation of a first payment allocation plan, the computer system processes a payment for the purchase and further transmits invoices to the selected users which include an allocated payment amount.

Abstract: An exchange computer system may compress price data associated with a financial product. The financial product may be, e.g., a type of futures contract, a type of option, a type of over-the-counter (OTC) forward, a type of OTC option, a type of security, or other type of financial product. The computer system may access data that indicates prices for a financial product at each of multiple times, generate data representing changes in prices, and stores codes representing that generated price change data. Price change categories may be identified for price changes corresponding to different times. Codes may then be selected based on the identified price change categories and stored. The stored codes may be used for price validation and/or other purposes.

Abstract: A credit card recommendation system for recommending credit cards to a user can be based on the consumer's estimated monthly spend, estimated spend across a plurality of categories, and user credit data. The credit card recommendation system can filter credit cards based on a likelihood of approval for the user. The credit card recommendation can determine a reward valuation and an adjustment valuation by assessing user spend and the characteristics corresponding to the credit card. The credit card recommendation can train a model to score credit cards for users, and apply specific user data to the model to determine a credit card score particular to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in authenticating consumers based on images of the consumers stored in payment cards. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a point-of-sale (POS) device, a transaction request by a consumer to purchase a product and soliciting, by the POS device, a payment device from the consumer for funding the transaction request. The method also includes retrieving, by the POS device, a reference image provisioned to the payment device, capturing, by the POS device, an image of the consumer presenting the payment device, and comparing, by the POS device, the captured image of the consumer to the reference image. The method then further includes submitting an authorization request, in response to the transaction request, when the captured image of the consumer matches the reference image, whereby the consumer is authenticated to the payment device.

Abstract: A computerized system is provided for processing data in connection with systems for offering and sale of goods and services. In the computerized system, a server system provides for a seller device to provide item identification information and a minimum price. The server system makes the item identification information, and not the minimum price, available to one or more buyer user devices. Responsive to an indication of interest, the system provides the buyer user device with a series of sets of ranges of prices for selection, followed by a set of prices for selection. If the user selects a price from the set of prices above the minimum price, the difference between the minimum price and the selected price is allocated among buyer, seller, and server system, and a transaction proceeds.

The offer engine proxy sends a second message including the modified webpage and the offer to the user computing device.

Abstract: The present embodiments relate to systems and methods for using a blockchain to record information related to processes and services in the vehicle industry. For example, (1) receiving vehicle data from one or more remote computing devices; (2) detecting a change in a condition of the vehicle from analysis of the vehicle data, such as that the vehicle has been in a collision and is now a total loss; (3) identifying a VIN of the vehicle or retrieving the VIN from a memory unit when a change in a condition of the vehicle is detected; (4) generating a transaction (i) including the vehicle's VIN, and (ii) describing the detected change in the condition of the vehicle and/or the status of the total loss vehicle; and/or (5) transmitting the transaction to facilitate creating and/or maintaining a VIN-based distributed ledger for the particular vehicle and/or transferring ownership of the total loss vehicle.

The merchant may provide information relating to the transaction, which may include information about the consumer's device, to a repository. The merchant may provide transaction information to the acquiring bank, which may provide transaction to the global financial network, which may provide transaction information to an issuing bank. One or more requesting party (e.g., one or more of the acquiring bank, global financial network, or issuing bank) may formulate a derivative locator based on the transaction information received. The derivative locator may function as an index through which records in the repository may be accessed by the requesting party. A time comparison may be made in assisting with accessing the correct record in the repository.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for inserting supplemental content into a QAM signal. A unicast QAM signal between a server and a client device for delivery of content is established. The QAM signal has a particular frequency corresponding to the channel on which it will be transmitted to the client device. A request or other signal may be received from the client device requesting that supplemental content be inserted into the QAM signal. A portion of the bandwidth of the QAM signal is allocated for the supplemental content. The supplemental content is transcoded into a supplemental QAM signal in the particular frequency. The supplemental content may be packetized content such as internet protocol-based content and may be retrieved from a server or database. The supplemental QAM signal is then inserted into the unicast QAM signal using the allocated portion of the bandwidth.

Abstract: The behavior analysis engine can identify malicious entities based on connections between the entity and other entities. The behavior analysis engine receives an entity from the network traffic hub and identifies entities that are connected to the entity within a threshold degree of separation. The behavior analysis engine applies a recursive process to the entity whereby the behavior analysis engine determines whether an entity is malicious based on whether its connections within a threshold degree of separation are malicious. The behavior analysis engine uses the maliciousness of the entities' connections to determine whether the entity is malicious and, if the entity is malicious, the behavior analysis engine may instruct the network traffic hub to block network communications associated with the malicious entity.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for providing personalized digital advice. A digital advisor service applies cross-entity historical interaction (e.g., behavior attributes) to one or more predictive models to identify one or more personalized goals for a user. The digital advisor service provides, via an application programming interface, the identified one or more personalized goals to an entity service, enabling the entity service to present the one or more personalized goals.

Abstract: A system and method of providing real time account information for financial accounts is disclosed. The system includes an event based architecture including an event stream. Financial transaction processing systems publish transaction events to the event stream. A transaction service listening to the event stream detects new transaction events. The transaction service takes action to enrich transaction data. A middleware system reconciles existing transactions and persists transaction records in long term storage. Prior to closing financial accounts, the system can retrieve a list of all scheduled and pending transactions and request that these transactions are canceled before closing the account.

Abstract: A face recognition system and a method for enhancing face recognition are provided. The method includes: receiving a face image and obtaining a feature of the face image from a feature extraction model; registering the face image to set the feature of the face image as a first recognition feature; performing a synthesis operation on the face image according to at least one first adjustment parameter to generate a synthetic image, and obtaining a feature of the synthetic image from the feature extraction model; comparing first recognition feature with the feature of the synthetic image to obtain a feature similarity; comparing the feature similarity with a threshold value to obtain a comparison result; and registering the synthetic image when the comparison result indicates that the feature similarity is less than or equal to the threshold value.

Abstract: A system for enhanced personal property replacement (i) builds a virtual inventory of personal belongings, such as by performing object recognition techniques on mobile device digital images with the customer's permission or affirmative consent; (ii) receives user preferences transmitted from their mobile device; (iii) receives a request from the user to handle an insurance claim after an insurance-related event; (iv) determines items to purchase for the user based upon the user preferences, and/or the extent of damage; and/or (v) transmits, to a retailer remote server a virtual order for the items to be delivered to the user at a temporary (hotel) or permanent (home) address. Insurance claim monies may be used to pay for the items. As a result, after an event (e.g., fire, tornado, hurricane), household or other goods may be automatically purchased and delivered to a customer to alleviate the negative impact of the event on their life.

Abstract: A system and methods for mapping price and location of tickets in an event venue are described. An interactive event venue seat map is provided by a network-based system that implements an online marketplace for tickets for upcoming events. The interactive event venue seat map enables sellers to view pricing information and transaction information for both sold and current event listings for any section or zone in an event venue. The interactive event venue seat map allows sellers to browse and click on sections to see sold and listed data for any section and zone in the event venue and to compare a proposed sale price to available pricing information of sold and current event listings in comparable sections. Abstract: Techniques are described for dynamically determining the flow of screens to be presented in a user interface (UI) of an application executing on a computing device, based at least partly on a detected presence of a user device (e.g., a portable computing device) in a particular geographic area. Area designation data is transmitted to, and stored on, a user device. The area designation data can describe a geofenced area and/or beacon signals. In response to determining that the user device is in the geographic area indicated by the area designation data, the user device may transmit an alert signal that causes an interface flow to be dynamically determined and executed for an application executing on the computing device that is separate from the user device.

For example, values of various key performance indicators (KPIs) can be determined. One or more of the values can be compared to a corresponding threshold or range. Based on the results of the comparisons, an alert can be generated and sent to a user associated with the entity, a user interface (UI) that presents information to the user about the entity can include information regarding the KPIs, or both. The system may have access to data regarding a number of similar entities. Using the data for the similar entities, one or more benchmarks for the KPIs of the entity can be determined. The KPIs can be compared to the benchmarks and the results shown in a UI, an alert, or both.

Abstract: A method for beacon device-based customer notifications is provided. The method is implemented by a computing device including a processor. The method includes receiving, from a beacon device, a beacon device advertisement that includes a universally unique identifier (UUID), a major identifier, and a minor identifier. Participants that post such bids and offers are rewarded by a venue implementing the invention by being sent more frequent (and/or enhanced) market data updates over participants who do not, while those bids and offers remain active and competitive. Participants that receive more frequent market data updates from a venue may have an informational advantage in their trading over those participants that receive less frequent updates.

Abstract: Systems and method for method for increasing security in online transfers by maintaining anonymity of transferors are described herein. In an embodiment, a label tracking system receives a request to generate labels for an account of an account holder. The system generates a plurality of labels in response to the request and send the plurality of labels to an account computing device which stores a mapping of labels to identification information. The system receives an allocation request from the account computing device and stores allocations for each of the generated labels. When the system receives a request to perform a transfer between two labels, without changing any items within the account and without receiving identification information corresponding to the labels, the system updates the labels by decrementing an amount allocated to the transferor label and incrementing an amount allocated to the transferee label.

Abstract: Techniques for identifying fraudulent transactions are described. In one example method, an operation sequence and time difference information associated with a transaction are identified by a server. A probability that the transaction is a fraudulent transaction is predicted based on a result provided by a deep learning network, where the deep learning network is trained to predict fraudulent transactions based on operation sequences and time differences associated with a plurality of transaction samples, and where the deep learning network provides the result in response to input including the operation sequence and the time difference information associated with the transaction.

Abstract: Management of a position concentration risk of an account includes the establishment of a threshold level for an aggregate trader position. The aggregate trader position may be associated with one or more customer accounts that are managed by one or more clearing firms. An actual parameter value associated with each of the customer accounts is aggregated to determine an aggregate parameter value, which is compared against the established threshold value. If, based on the comparison between the aggregate parameter value and the established threshold value, it is determined that the aggregate parameter value meets or exceeds the established threshold value, an advisory alert is generated, which may be automatic. The advisory alert is then communicated or otherwise provided to one or more authorized entities.

Abstract: To clear a blindspot in the way business leaders, analysts and investors make decisions about capital investments in various businesses, the present inventors devised, among other things, business model classification, search, and analysis systems and methods. One exemplary system automatically classifies businesses based on quantitative and qualitative business data according to a 4-class framework that spans traditional industry boundaries. This classification is based on a combination of spending patterns, financial metrics, and language to identify each firm's business model. The resulting business model is then utilized in conjunction with additional financial and non-financial metrics, securities analysis, leading and lagging indicators, and/or industry comparison to produce a score which can be used to compare business performance within and across classifications to generate superior performance and mitigate risks for business leaders and investment managers.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for real-time resource account verification processing for authentication of a user. The system provides a communication linkage between entities that are real-time payment network enabled participates to communication and confirm account verification. As such, via RFI messaging an entity may request verification of user resource accounts. The system may identify the entity associated with the resources, deploy a secure communication via the RFI messaging platform, and receive a verification in real-time. Abstract: A device may receive, from a user device, an input that indicates a request to set up a payment plan associated with a bill. The device may send to the user device an instruction for a user to send access information that permits access to a system associated with an employment account of the user. The device may receive from the user device the access information and obtain data related to future earnings of the user from the system using the access information. The device may process the data to identify an earnings amount and an earnings date. The device may determine, based on the earnings amount and the earnings date, the payment plan, wherein the payment plan indicates a payment amount and a payment date, and cause a payment account associated with the user to pay the bill according to the payment plan.
