Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable media are disclosed to provide a search of contents of a webpage, where the search feature is provided as part of the webpage. In one embodiment, a method of providing such an in-page search of contents of a webpage can comprise reading a user's search criteria through an element of the webpage. The contents of the webpage can be searched to identify text matching the search criteria. Formatting instructions can be inserted into the webpage to change the appearance of the identified text relative to other text on the webpage. The webpage can be redisplayed with the inserted formatting instructions.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a multimedia bookmark method and a system thereof. The method of the present invention comprises steps: providing a plurality of digital annotations for an information object; creating a bookmark containing an ordered set organized according to a time relativity, a file relativity or a user-defined attribute of the digital annotations; and presenting the bookmark and the information object corresponding to the bookmark. Thereby, the present invention provides complete, meaningful and multi-aspect bookmarks, enabling users to easily understand and conveniently use the annotations.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products for delivering content to customers of a service provider are provided. Upon receiving a request for content from a customer of a service provider, a position of the requested content on a content demand curve is determined. A business model to be associated with the requested content is selected, wherein the business model defines how the requested content is to be delivered to the customer and how the customer is to be billed for the requested content. The requested content is delivered to the customer according to the selected business model and the customer is billed according to the selected business model.

Abstract: A bookmark editor in an Internet web browser application allows a user to create symbolic links between bookmarks and bookmark folders. The bookmark editor may also detect when a bookmark already exists for a document and prompt the user to create a link rather than a new bookmark for the same document. The user may then keep a folder, subfolder, or bookmark and link to it via a symbolic link. When a bookmark is added to a folder or subfolder, the user does not need to duplicate that bookmark for a linked folder or subfolder.

An activation control can accept input entered within the user selectable position control when selected. Activation of the activation control can result in the Web page being reconfigured so that the position of the Web page components corresponds to positions specified by the position controls. In one embodiment, the user interface can be an accessibility option for users having difficulty with a drag and drop interface.

In one implementation, the analysis system can rely at least in part on the actual downloading and rendering of each page in the website to determine not only aspects of website content and layout, but also whether various content, such as third party objects or source code, execute as intended. Additional features include recording user input that may be required to progress past web pages where automated site mapping would ordinarily stall. The analysis system can identify various items of interest about each web page to the website owner, including web page parent/child relationships, as well as the extent to which the given page content is consistent with its metadata descriptions.

The policy structure as defined by the user is stored such that when the user returns to the page, the page may be displayed according to the policy structure defined by the user.

With the bar navigation element, a user can intuitively move among the multiple virtual screens using just a single actuation (e.g., a single click of a mouse, or a stylus tap). The multiple virtual screens remain in their original orientation and relative positioning, and remain visible in the user interface so that the user can track their location.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the generation of a Sitemap XML file. The method comprises retrieving input parameter values and determining at least one target entity (an online retail store) within a target environment (a retailer) for which a search engine sitemap definition page will be generated and rendering the sitemap definition page for the determined target entity. The rendered content being further evaluated and ordered according to predetermined priority algorithms. The method further comprises outputting the rendered sitemap definition page, where if the output sitemap definition page exceeds a predetermined size, the output sitemap definition page is divided into smaller segments and an index file is generated and associated with the segmented output sitemap definition page files. The methods and system can calculate a union of the lists to provide a collection of favorite quick links.
