The first interactive graphical user interface corresponds to a first content level within a navigation thread and the end interactive graphical user interface corresponds to an end content level within the navigation thread.

Abstract: A social networking system enables cable television viewers to watch television programs as a virtual group, each watching within his/her own home, while simultaneously communicating with one another, for example, via voice and/or video chat. The system enables a viewer to find friends, or other like-minded viewers not acquainted with the viewer, for virtual communal viewing parties. The system can enable participants in a viewing party to synchronize viewing sessions enabling each participant to share in a common viewing experience. The system can also enable a system operator to recognize communal viewing groups and enable more effective advertisement targeting.

The method further includes presenting, in a user interface of a video editing application, the determined subset of video clips along with indicia indicating one or more face-related characteristics of each of the subset of video clips. Furthermore, the method includes receiving, from a user of the video editing application, a selection of one or more frames of at least one of the subset of video clips to populate a shot placeholder in a movie-building template, and generating a playable media file representing a movie based at least in part on the selection received from the user.

Abstract: Embodiments of a multi-screen hold and page-flip gesture are described. In various embodiments, a hold input is recognized at a first screen of a multi-screen system, and the hold input is recognized when held to select a journal page that is displayed on the first screen. A motion input is recognized at a second screen of the multi-screen system, and the motion input is recognized while the hold input remains held in place. A hold and page-flip gesture can then be determined from the recognized hold and motion inputs, and the hold and page-flip gesture is effective to maintain the display of the journal page while one or more additional journal pages are flipped for display on the second screen.

As a service-oriented approach, each functional session management step can be represented as a business service. New services can be added by defining actions for the new service, and adding a node to a given session management workflow sequence. Abstract: An electronic meeting application is disclosed which allows electronic meetings to be recorded and archived. The electronic meeting is driven by a plurality of input sources synchronized according to each one's order of play in the meeting. This synchronization is maintained by a main meeting timeline. The disclosed electronic meeting application records each of the input sources into separately accessible data files. The data files may be converted into metadata files that can used for searching purposes. Metadata description files are also generated that describe the appearance of each of the objects displaying the information from the input sources. On replay of the recorded meeting, the meeting application uses the metadata files to re-render the meeting interface and display the recordings of the selected input sources. Therefore, a user may select the specific content from the meeting to replay.
