Abstract: A vent valve assembly includes a first housing component, a second housing component, and a third housing component, as well as a first valve and a second valve. The first, second, and third housing components are configured to assemble together along one directional axis with the second housing component, the first valve and the second valve between the first and third housing components and with the second valve laterally-spaced from the first valve. A vapor flow path directs vapor from the first valve to the second valve, thereby reducing an overall height of the vent valve assembly.

Abstract: A spraying device is provided that includes a cartridge containing a first fluid, the cartridge being removably connected to a sprayer body. The cartridge is oriented such that gravity exerts a downward force on the first fluid. The sprayer body includes a conduit for receiving a second fluid. A valve is coupled to the conduit. The valve allows the second fluid to flow through the valve, thus creating a Venturi vacuum that draws the first fluid out of the cartridge and into the valve to enable the first and second fluids to mix and form an outlet stream. An orifice meters a predetermined amount of the first fluid into the valve to achieve a predetermined ratio of the first fluid to the second fluid. The outlet stream is then dispensed from a spray nozzle.

The pressure adjustor is mounted on the through-hole and the anti-reverse member is mounted on the outlet. As the inlet is connected to an air pump and the outlet is connected to a filling-article, a pressure value is preset with the pressure adjustor such that when the filling-article reaches the preset pressure value, the anti-reverse member engages the channel to move the anti-leakage rubber of the pressure adjustor upward and the air is released from the pressure release perforation in order to stably maintain the filling-article at an air-filling state within the preset pressure value.

The valve member may be located between the valve retainer in the stepped region and may have an outer diameter less than the second inner diameter and greater than the first and third inner diameters.

Abstract: A tubular part is provided for a household appliance and includes a portion for operating with fluid. A check valve formed with an elastically compressible hollow cylindrical insertion body is inserted in the tubular part, which is configured as a receiving part and comprises a fluid passage and a contact region serving as a valve seat, the insertion body at the end thereof opposite the contact region of the fluid passage carrying a sealing element. Due to the insertion body being elastically compressed in the receiving part and thereby fixed in the axial position, the sealing element rests against the contact region such that fluid passage is possible only in the direction from the receiving part to the insertion body, while the opposite direction is substantially blocked.

Abstract: This invention provides catheter assemblies and methods for insertion of a catheter into a vessel. The assemblies include a resilient valve in the hub of the catheter that can be opened by pressure from a male luer fitting. The methods include piercing a vessel with the needle and catheter of the assembly, retraction of the needle component thus closing the resilient valve. Finally the catheter can be accessed by applying a male luer fitting to the catheter hub and a shoulder of the resilient valve.

  • Patent number: 8496738
Abstract: A mixed gas is separated with collection of at least one constituent gas. An inlet leads to a blower or other gas compression element through a valve. This blower feeds a chamber which contains media which selectively adsorbs the constituent gas to be collected, such as nitrogen from air. An exhaust from the chamber leads to an exhaust through a check valve. The blower can be reversed after nitrogen has been adsorbed within the chamber to desorb nitrogen and deliver nitrogen back through the blower. The inlet valve is closed after blower reversing and a separate diversion pathway is opened so that nitrogen is delivered from the blower to a nitrogen collection region. A variant system also includes an oxygen collection region on a side of the chamber opposite the blower for collection of both nitrogen and oxygen separated from air simultaneously, or collection of other constituent gases.

  • Publication number: 20130182737
Abstract: Continuous mass flow gas replenishment may be implemented in a gas lasing device, such as a gas laser or amplifier, by using a restrictive orifice to bleed one or more gases into a reservoir and/or discharge chamber of the gas laser or amplifier at a predefined mass flow rate. The mass flow rate is a function of the pressure drop across the restrictive orifice resulting from the pressure differential between the depleted gas and the source gas. Thus, gases may be added as needed such that the gas total pressure, as well as the constituent partial pressures, is maintained within a desired range throughout the laser or amplifier fill lifetime. The continuous mass flow gas replenishment may thus make up the lost partial pressure of reactive gases in gas lasing devices in a manner that is less complicated and is less expensive than other continuous flow methodologies.
