Abstract: A cam ring for a cam drive of a distributor radial piston injection pump. Said cam ring includes on the outside a connecting member which is formed in one piece that is particularly roller-shaped with an axis parallel to the axis of the cam ring and that engages a recess of an adjusting member that serves in the adjustment of the cam ring. This results in an embodiment of the cam drive that can be advantageously assembled and has a well-designed cam ring with a very low incidence of failure with regard to durability, production and assembly.
Abstract: An apparatus for monitoring a system for delivering secondary air to an exhaust tube of an internal combustion engine. In the method and apparatus, a secondary air pump is switched on and builds up a pressure on the inlet side of a blocking valve which is normally closed and not being acted upon. The blocking valve has a valve closing member that is acted upon by a predetermined closing force of an elastic element. If the secondary air quantity pumped by the secondary air pump reaches a certain minimum air quantity and pressure, then with the then-opened blocking valve, a lambda sensor disposed in an exhaust tube detects a change in the lambda value in the exhaust tube that exceeds a predetermined threshold value. The apparatus is suitable for monitoring the function of a system for delivering secondary air to the exhaust tube of an internal combustion engine.
Abstract: The pressure regulator is suitable for disposition in a fuel pump. The pressure regulator has a metal bellows, which is connected on one end to a retaining ring and on the other end to a disk. An element is screwed into the retaining ring, which element carries a valve closing member of a seat valve, whose valve seat encompasses an outlet bore of the disk. The interior of the bellows communicates with the compression side of the fuel pump by means of an opening of the element, and with the intake side by means of the outlet bore of the disk.
Abstract: A fuel injection nozzle for internal combustion engines having a nozzle body with a valve seat disposed on a side of the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine and an outwardly opening needle valve with a closing head that has a closing cone that cooperates with the valve seat. At least one outwardly oriented injection hole is disposed in the closing head that is supplied with fuel via a supply conduit from a pressure chamber. The supply conduit is oriented axially with respect to the injection hole and changes over into this injection hole in a funnel shape. Its width corresponds approximately to the length of the injection hole. The injection hole and supply conduit extend at an acute angle a to the longitudinal axis of the closing head that is adapted to the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. The intake of the supply conduit is located in a face end of the closing head remote from the end on the side of the combustion chamber.
Abstract: An electrically controlled fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having a pump piston disposed and guided in a pump housing and defining a pump chamber and in its pumping stroke pumping fuel, delivered to this pump work chamber by a feed pump to an injection nozzle as long as a quantity control valve blocks the flow of the fuel otherwise overflowing from the pump work chamber via a metering line to a low-pressure chamber. A housing part receiving the quantity control valve and projecting laterally from the pump housing at the level of the pump housing, into which part the metering line leading to the pump work chamber extends, wherein lateral recesses on the projecting housing part are provided, which are engaged in forked fashion by a fastening cuff for the quantity control valve. The fastening cuff being provided with an internal thread and cooperating with a screw sleeve having an external thread.
Abstract: A valve for injecting a fuel/gas mixture that includes a perforated body, which comprises an upper thin plate and a lower thin plate, both of which are for instance embodied of monocrystalline silicon. At least one conduit is formed between the upper thin plate and the lower thin plate, by way of which conduit the gas meets the fuel injected through the at least one injection port. It is unnecessary to adjust the metered gas quantity. The perforated body and the valve are particularly suitable for injection systems in mixture-compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.

Abstract: A fuel injection apparatus for internal combustion engines, having a pump piston, which is guided in a cylinder bore and driven to reciprocate by a cam drive. The pump piston defines a pump work chamber with its face end. The pump work chamber communicates with an injection valve via a pressure conduit and is supplied with fuel and relieved via a fuel line. The cam drive acts upon the pump piston via a rocker bolt, a tappet bolt, and a tappet insert, and the connections from the tappet bolt to both the rocker bolt and the tappet insert are embodied in the manner of ball joints. For simple installation of the tappet bolt, it is axially secured in relation to the rocker and to a tappet sleeve, which receives the tappet insert, via securing elements having elastic stretching properties, which expand to the size of the outer diameter of the ball head when a certain force is exerted, so that the tappet bolt can be installed and removed without disassembling the whole pump.
Abstract: A pressure regulator including first and second chambers, separated by a diaphragm. By means of a tube centrally penetrating the diaphragm, fuel can be fed under pressure into a first chamber for delivery to an engine. The second chamber communicates with a fuel tank through a spillway and includes therein a compression spring of an overflow valve for diverting fuel from the tube. The overflow valve is embodied as a slide valve and includes a sleeve-like slide that is joined to the diaphragm and has a control opening that cooperates with a control groove of the tube. The pressure regulator for fuel injection systems is intended for disposition in or on a fuel tank so that any returned fuel is led directly into the tank.
Abstract: A hydraulic motor vehicle brake system with dual brake circuits having an anti-skid system and is also further developed to improve vehicle tracking by ways of automatic braking, especially during cornering. During automatic braking, an auxiliary pressure source delivers a pressure medium to an anti-skid system to supply the wheel brakes. For this purpose a separating piston for each brake circuit is located between the auxiliary pressure source and the anti-skid system. For the purpose of keeping costs low, the two separating pistons are accommodated in an integral cylinder with a blind bore.

Abstract: A hydraulic motor vehicle brake system having anti-skid system and further developed to improve vehicle tracking, especially during cornering by means of automatic braking. With automatic braking an auxiliary pressure source delivers a pressure medium to an anti-skid system, by means of which braking pressures can be individually adjusted in the wheel brakes. For this purpose a cylinder with separating piston sections is located between the auxiliary pressure source and the anti-skid system, wherein the separating piston is installed into 2/2-way valves including lip sealing rings. The embodiment in accordance with the invention include cylinders, with valve openings in cooperation with the lip sealing rings, which results in economical 2/2-way valves.

Abstract: Tensioning assembly mounted to or incorporated into a display device which is in the form of one or more display faces made from a substantially flexible polymer and which is mounted on a frame about its peripheral portions such that sufficient or a predetermined amount of tension is placed on the face so as to at least somewhat resemble a rigid plate or face. Tensioning devices may be attached to the face in opposed relation to one another and these tensioning devices may be in the form of a connecting unit which serves to interconnect the face to the frame while at the same time placing the desired amount of tension thereon. The display device may be interiorly lighted by providing a lighting assembly on the interior of the frame adjacent to the flexible face so as to transmit light thereto and clearly display any indicia formed on the face.
Abstract: Apparatuses for the injection of a fuel-gas mixture that have a cup-shaped gas enveloping sleeve that surrounds a valve end of a fuel injection valve, in which the base of the gas enveloping sleeve rests directly on a valve end of the fuel injection valve, have already been proposed. In such apparatuses, the danger is that the perforated body, which has injection ports, will be damaged during installation of the gas enveloping sleeve. In the novel apparatus, however, an elastic sealing element is disposed in the direction of the longitudinal valve axis between the valve end of the fuel injection valve and an end of the base portion of the gas enveloping sleeve that faces the valve end. This sealing element lessens the danger of deformation of and damage to a perforated body, having injection ports, of the fuel injection valve at the valve end and makes it possible to compensate for production and installation tolerances.

Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, having a pump piston that moves in a cylinder liner and defines a pump work chamber with the cylinder. The piston has two control edges that cooperate with a control opening in the cylinder liner. One, control edge is oblique, disposed on the jacket face and communicates continuously with the pump work chamber which controls the end of supply. A first upper control edge formed by the face end of the pump piston, controls the supply onset upon overtaking the control opening. For a load- and temperature-dependent shift of the supply onset toward early, the face end of the pump piston has a first region (B), axially indented in the direction of the cam drive, forming a second control edge, which is separated from the flat region (A) on the face end by a longitudinal groove and in the first region a second region (C), indented via shoulders is disposed in turn in the direction of the cam drive, with a third control edge.

Abstract: A hydraulic braking system having an apparatus for anti-lock control and for generating a differential lock by brake engagement, has a structurally simplified control unit, without any reduction in function. In its brake circuit II for driven vehicle wheels, the braking system with TT brake circuit distribution has valve assemblies associated with the wheel brakes and having an inlet valve and at least one outlet valve for brake pressure modulation. On the master cylinder side, a blocking valve is disposed in a brake line leading to the wheel brakes. A high-pressure pump with a charging valve in a suction line is capable of pumping brake fluid into the brake line.
Abstract: A simplified and improved hydraulic brake system has at least one valve arrangement for the brake pressure modulation in a wheel brake. Furthermore, a high-pressure pump is provided to return pressure medium from the wheel brake into a main brake cylinder in the case of an anti-lock control operation or to deliver pressure medium from the main brake cylinder into a wheel brake during drive-slip control operation. A shut-off valve with a spring-actuated through-flow position and a shut-off position, which can be selected by the pressure at the main brake cylinder end, is arranged upstream on the suction side of the high-pressure pump. The hydraulic brake system with anti-lock and drive-slip control device is used in motor vehicles.

Abstract: A method in which a valve part consisting of a valve seat body and a support body with injection holes is pushed into a longitudinal orifice of a housing and firmly connected to a wall of the housing with the insertion depth determining the presetting of a valve needle lift. The precise setting of the valve needle life is made on a fully assembled valve by deforming the valve part between fixing areas of the support body. The method of manufacture of the injection valve is particularly suitable for fuel injection units of mixture compressing engines with externally supplied ignition.

The graphics and backing sheet may be applied by a laminating machine or squeegee and secured in place by a self-adhesive. Applying the laminated film on the reverse side has a protection quality that a silk screened or spray painted face does not have since the vinyl protects the rear side of the face against scratching during installation of the face and/or transportation of the sign.
