Abstract: The present invention will utilize refreshing braille pins to form the symbols displayed on a slot machine. The braille pins will move vertically and independent of each other. A read only memory (ROM) will send the information to the braille pin cluster that will form the braille symbol. At this time of conception of the invention, the play of the slot machine will utilize one coin per play.
Abstract: A packaging box for receiving a plurality of fragile elongated objects, such as small bottles, ampoules or the like, has a compartmented insert with at least one partition. To enable additionally accommodating a brochure in the folding box in a readily visible and accessible manner, a separate wall is disposed parallel to one broad side wall of the folding box; the partitions adjoin this separate wall, which together with the one broad side wall forms a pocket for receiving the folded brochure.
Abstract: This invention is for holding components made of a ferromagnetic material parallel to a component axis for electroplating the component. The component substrate according to the invention has at least two magnet poles, oriented toward the components and having opposite polarity. The magnet field lines extend from one magnet pole to the other magnet pole through the components only in the vicinity of a contact faces of the components oriented toward the magnet poles. This prevents ferromagnetic particles from depositing on the ends of the components remote from the contact faces. The apparatus according to the invention is especially suitable for holding a plurality of components during electrolytic surface coating of the components.

Abstract: A position transducer in which an external full-load stop of a pedal and a stop inside a housing for a transducer shaft is adapted to one another in such a way as to assure that a maximum allowable adjusting torque acting upon the transducer shaft will not be exceeded. According to the invention, in the transmission chain between a pedal, the actuating member, a transmission member embodied for instance as a Bowden cable, the driver member and the transducer shaft, a prestressed elastic element is integrated, which by way of example is disposed between the Bowden cable and the driver member and is embodied by the compression spring. To attain the prestressing of the compression spring, the driver member is supported on the actuating member. The compression spring prevents an impermissible adjusting torque on the transducer shaft. The position transducer is suitable for installation in motor vehicles, where it is used to convert a pedal position into an electrical adjusting signal.
Abstract: A valve whose valve stroke must be adjusted is provided with a throttle bore. The valve has a guide tube open on the bottom with a press-fit in a valve body through whose through bore the valve closing member of an armature received in a guide tube is accessible for engagement by a scanner pin of a measuring tool. After adjustment of the valve stroke, a throttle insert is introduced into the throttle bore of the valve body, using a double-lipped cuff. While an inner lip seals off the throttle insert in the valve body, an outer lip of the cuff, in cooperation with a housing receives the valve and takes on the function of a check valve. The valve is suitable for anti-lock and/or traction-control systems of motor vehicle brake systems.

Abstract: A hydraulic unit for wheel slip control, which is located between a master cylinder and wheel brake cylinders. Reflection damping devices are installed in main brake lines located between the hydraulic unit and the master cylinder which damp pressure waves that originate at control valves of the hydraulic unit. When the control valves are triggered in the wheel slip control mode the pressure waves are largely kept away from the master cylinder. By the means of length adaptation of the main brake lines, the brake lines can also contribute to the damping.

Abstract: A hydraulic brake system with an antilock mechanism having a pressure control device is disposed in a connecting line, which joins two brake line branches with each other; in an event of a failure of the antilock mechanism, upon an actuation of a master cylinder, this device reduces the pressure of the pressure fluid in the brake cylinders associated with the second brake line branches in relation to the pressure in the brake cylinders associated with the first brake line branches. Abstract: A method for positionally securing two components together, in which a hollow body is introduced into the two components. Once the final position of the components relative to one another has been established, the hollow body is driven directly into the second component with the application of axial pressure and sonic energy. The method is suitable for employment with thermoplastic components whose relative position to one another is known beforehand, an example being in the assembly of housing parts of a rotary adjuster for controlling a flow cross section in internal combustion engines.

Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, having a pump piston guided in a cylinder bore of a pump body, which pump piston defines a pump work chamber in the cylinder bore and which is axially driven by a cam drive counter to the force of a restoring spring. Each individual cylinder of the engine to be fed is assigned a fuel injection pump, which is inserted into a bore in the engine housing; at the same time, the engine housing serves as the pump housing. In order to limit frictional wear, which is caused by the back-and-forth motion of the roller tappet of the cam drive guided in the engine housing and to easily replace pump parts, a thin-walled slide bush is disposed between the roller tappet and the housing bore. The slide bush is fastened with radial play on the pump body and additionally prevents the roller tappet from slipping out and prevents the preassembled fuel injection pump from falling apart when it is not installed in the housing bore.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a plurality of stationary mounted rotating drums and opposite end drums being driven by a stepper motor that will work in conjunction with each other. An elongated belt having graphic patterns printed upon it is connected around each of these drums. The stepper motor will stop at a precise moment to display particular graphic symbols at any given time by a microprocessor. The window in which the symbols are displayed is in a triangular form with one window at the top, two windows in the middle and three windows at the bottom.
Abstract: A control device for varying the supply onset of a fuel injection pump, in which the supply rate at the lower full-load point is increased without overloading the pump at the rated capacity point. A control of this kind is effected by the use of a deflection piston as well as by use of a prestressed check valve. Regulation serving the same purpose can be achieved with the aid of an element pressure sensor and two magnet valves. The control device is intended for use in an internal combustion engine.
Abstract: A fuel injection pump in which the injection onset is varied by means of an injection adjuster, which has a two part adjusting piston acted upon by a hydraulic control pressure, which piston is adjustable counter to a restoring spring and by means of a bolt, engages the cam drive of the fuel injection pump in order to adjust the injection onset. To reduce the highest pressure in the high-pressure chamber of the fuel injection pump and to form the course of injection pressure, the adjusting piston is embodied in two parts, with a first piston that is adjustable relative to the second piston counter to a compression spring and the second piston is connected with the bolt. This makes possible a deflection motion of the piston relative to the second piston and a reduction in the pump piston stroke speed.
Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel injection system for internal combustion engines, having a high-pressure feed pump that pumps fuel from a supply tank into a high-pressure common rail that communicates with the various injection valves via high-pressure lines. To increase the injection pressure to up to 2000 bar, the injection valves have a booster piston, which is guided axially on the valve member of the injection valve and with one end face defines an injection pressure chamber that communicates with the injection ports, and with its other end face defines a work chamber that can be made to communicate with the common rail.

Abstract: A fuel injection nozzle for internal combustion engines having a nozzle body, firmly fastened to a nozzle holder with an interposition of a shim, and a valve needle that is axially displaceable in the nozzle body and that is lifted by the fuel pressure, counter to a closing spring assembly for the injection of fuel. To lend the injection nozzle a slender form, the chamber receiving the closing spring assembly is disposed eccentrically to the nozzle axle and the fuel inlet conduit in the nozzle holder, specifically in the portion of the nozzle holder wall that is thicker as a result of the eccentricity. In order, moreover to transmit the closing force of the closing spring assembly to the valve needle without shear forces as much as possible, a pressure protrusion that transmits the closing force is guided in an aperture extending eccentrically to the nozzle axle (b). The protrusion is integrally joined with an adapter or with the valve needle.
Abstract: In rimless spectacles having a pair of lenses directly connected to each other by means of a bridge member, and a connecting member pivoted respectively to a forward end portion of a pair of temples, said connecting member being directly attached to the lenses. A flexible packing is interposed in a V-letter clearance formed between the lens and the connecting member. A bolt and a nut fix the lens, the packing and the connecting member in such a state that the amount of compression of the packing may be varied for controlling the opening of the temples.
Abstract: A known shock absorber including a throttle cross section of a throttle passage which is electrically variable via a magnet, to adjust damping of fluid between separate work chambers. If the magnet has no current in the event of an electrical defect, then the throttle cross section of the throttle passage attains its minimum opening, and maximum damping is attained the shock absorber includes a different further throttle passage which is uncovered in the event of an electrical defect. As a result, in the event of an electrical defect an arbitrarily preselectable, preferably approximately average damping is brought about by the further throttle passage.
