The other work chamber, at least indirectly defined by the larger face end of the pump piston, can be made to communicate according to the invention with a pressure reservoir chamber or a relief line via a pressure line that includes a 3/2-way valve; the supply stroke motion of the pump piston is brought about by the delivery into the work chamber of the fluid under high pressure located in the pressure reservoir chamber.

    Abstract: A fuel injection arrangement for internal combustion engines, having a high-pressure fuel pump driven by the engine. The high-pressure fuel pump fills a pressure reservoir chamber with fuel at high pressure which chamber in turn communicates via injection lines with injection valves that protrude into the combustion chamber of the engine to be supplied. For free choice of the injection pressure at the injection valves independently of the rpm, the proposed system operates with two pressure levels. The higher pressure level is the maximum pressure in the pressure reservoir chamber, which via a connecting line that can be opened by means of a connecting valve communicates with a pressure chamber that builds up a second pressure level, and from that chamber the injection lines lead away in turn. The pressure chamber can also be rapidly pressure-relieved via a relief line that has a magnet valve.

    Abstract: A breather valve for a gas tank of an internal combustion engine having an adsorption filter which is linked to the atmosphere by a breather line which is controlled by a shut-off valve. As air flows through the shut off valve, contaminations entrained in the shut off valve may deposit in the shut-off valve, so that it will no longer close tightly. For this reason, a particle filter has been arranged in front of the shut-off valve. The particle filter is of a large surface area which is integrated in the housing of the adsorption filter, thus contamination of the shut-off valve (51) and an excessive pressure drop of the air flowing through the particle filter (41) is avoided. The integrated construction facilitates a simple assembly of the adsorption filter (41) which is suitable for internal combustion engines in motor vehicles.

    Abstract: The invention provides a device for controlling a ball-shaped projectile's trajectory by propelling the projectile at an angle to the gravitational force upon discharge from a barrel including an O-ring. The barrel has a center axis directly and fully offset relative to and above the shared center axis of a chamber and O-ring located at one end of the barrel. Upon firing, the projectile spins directly up a small bevel on the lower inner edge of the chamber-end of the barrel, thus being projected diagonally into the barrel, the bore large enough to provide clearance between it and the projectile. The projectile has consistent and unimpeded rotational acceleration through the upper portion of the barrel which is ensured by air pressure escaping around the projectile and, via the bevel, along the lower surface of the barrel.

    Abstract: An occupant safety device for an automotive vehicle includes a seat including a seat and back cushion. The seat is supported by a pair of left and right supports oppositely provided on the left and right sides of the seat which are supported on the floor of the vehicle. The seat is supported in the front by opposite pins for a pivot motion of the seat cushion. A rotary cover plate is hinged at one end below the cushion and adapted to open an opening formed in the floor surface which permits the back portion of the seat to fall into the opening. The door is suported in a closed ordinary condition by means of a locking pin of a locking pin mechanism. The seat back is supported on the supports and hinged at the upper end and supported at the lower end by opposite lock pin members which when a collision occurs the pins release the seat so that the seat is hinged at its upper end.

This second link is provided with a longitudinal U-shaped slot leading from the second opening out of the second link through an end thereof. This U-shaped slot is sized for receiving the choker rope and has a first extremity within the second opening which defines a seat for the ferrule.

    Abstract: A known electromagnetically actuatable valve has a tubular housing sleeve, a through opening radially penetrating the housing sleeve, and inside the housing sleeve, a valve body having a valve seat and an associated movable valve closing member, and a throttle, which comprises a throttle body and a throttle insert built into it having a throttle restriction, which is embodied as a throttle bore. The throttle body is slipped on like a cap over an open end of the housing sleeve. The throttle of this kind, embodied in a complex manner, is expensive and demands an inordinate amount of installation space. To reduce expense and save installation space, the throttle body along with its throttle insert is omitted and the function of the throttle bore is taken on by the through opening, the through opening is embodied as narrow opening in accordance with the throttle function to be produced. The valve can be used in antilock devices of hydraulic brake systems for motor vehicles.

    Abstract: A fuel injection device for internal combustion engines having a high pressure fuel pump driven by the engine. The pump supplies high pressure fuel to a pressure storage chamber, which chamber, for its part, communicates with injection valves that protrude into the combustion chamber of the engine to be supplied. To achieve precise control of the injection times and injection quantities, the injection valve is directly triggered by a magnet valve, to which end the valve needle of the injection valve is embodied as the valve member of the magnet valve. In order to be able to precisely control very small injection quantities and times (for example pre-injection), the adjusting forces of the valve needle are minimized, to which end the valve needle is pressure balanced in every operating state of the injection valve by directing the high fuel pressure after the start of the valve needle opening stroke also onto the face end of the valve needle remote from the valve needle seat.

Throttle gaps separate the intermediate chamber for the antechamber and from the pressure chamber in the closing direction of the valve needle, when a quantity of additive is pumped into the intermediate chamber, the additive positively displaces the main fuel into the pressure chamber. The additive is pumped into the intermediate chamber through an axial inlet conduit and radial bores in the nozzle needle.

Also disclosed is an efficient method for manufacturing the roller assembly.
