Abstract: A packaging container having a pressure relief valve which is suitable for packaging products that are vulnerable to oxygen and products that give off gases. The packaging container has at least one rigid and flat wall, which is surrounded by an offstanding peripheral flange and on the outside surface of which the pressure relief valve is secured. The pressure relief valve has a flexible membrane, which is secured on the wall in opposed peripheral zones by means of two adhesive strips. With its middle zone, the membrane defines a path and covers an opening in the wall. The opening is located in an indentation by means of which a pressure-action surface of the membrane is provided. A film of oil may be added in the middle zone to assist in preventing entrance of air into the container.
Abstract: An electromagnetically actuatable fuel injection valve which serves to supply fuel to a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine having externally supplied ignition. The fuel injection valve includes a valve housing having an outlet tube in which a valve seat body is disposed. Respective magnetic coils are disposed on pole pieces and a permanent magnet is disposed between the pole portions of the pole pieces. In the valve seat body a flow bore is provided, which merges via a stop face with a guide bore, in which a ball-shaped armature is slidably disposed. A valve needle which is joined with the armature protrudes through the flow bore and, with a closing head, cooperates with a valve seat in the valve seat body. Directly upstream of the closing head a metering collar is provided on the valve needle, an annular metering gap being formed between the metering collar and the wall of the flow bore.

Abstract: The injection pump has a pump piston driven with a constant stroke which pumps fuel at injection pressure to an injection nozzle so long as an electrically actuated overflow valve blocks the flow of the fuel overflowing via an overflow conduit to a low-pressure chamber. The overflow valve is a needle valve, the valve needle of which, opening inward toward a pressure chamber that can be placed under injection pressure, by means of a conical closing surface radially defining a needle tip controls a valve seat that widens conically toward the pressure chamber. The cone angle of the closing surface is larger than the cone angle of the associated valve seat and the closing surface forms a sealing edge, the diameter of which is equal to or only slightly smaller than the guide diameter of the guide shank on the valve member.

Abstract: An injection nozzle for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, the nozzle being arranged to inject fuel into the intake tube of the engine. The injection valve includes a valve housing of ferromagnetic material, in which a tubular connection element which functions as a core with which an armature is arranged to cooperate. Joined to the valve housing is a nozzle body having a valve seat with which a sealing section of a nozzle needle also arranged to cooperate. Abstract: An apparatus including a computer for generating a time duration signal is proposed, intended in particular for controlling fuel metering or ignition processes in internal combustion engines, wherein the time duration signal is formed in accordance with the formulati=(R+K.multidot.Z)/fclwhere Z is the counting range of a counter associated with the computer, k is the number of counting processes, fcl is the counting frequency and R is a remainder value. Abstract: An energy saving and endurance log system for a log building in which each log is provided with a weather shield for abutting end joints and are provided with a longitudinal drip shield that extends down over a portion of an adjacent lower log to prevent weather and moisture from entering the connection between adjacent logs. A vertical support extends down through centered holes from the rafters to the foundation to which the rafters are connected and which provide added strength to the walls formed by the logs.
Abstract: An rpm governor for fuel injection pumps of internal combustion engines having two governor levers, namely a first lever engaged by a governor spring and a second lever which actuates the injection quantity control member and is engaged in the opposite direction from the governor spring by an rpm signal transducer, and having an intermediate spring between the two levers, is proposed, in which the intermediate spring is embodied as a spring package of relatively stiffer and softer springs in line with one another, of which the stiffer spring is effective for brief variations in force while the softer spring is contrarily effective for longer-lasting force effects. Structurally, this is attained by means of a hydraulic or pneumatic damping member (dashpot) which receives the softer spring.
Abstract: An injection valve for preparing fuel injected into an intake tube of an internal combustion engine and an injection valve for performing the method are proposed. The injection valve includes a movable valve element, which cooperates with a fixed valve seat, downstream of which the fuel reaches fuel guide bores inclined relative to the valve axis and this fuel discharges into a preparation bore at a distance (a) on the bottom from the wall. The fuel flowing via the fuel guide bores at first exits freely from the discharge openings of the fuel guide bores into the preparation bore and subsequently arrives at the wall of the preparation bore, from where it flows in the form of a film, distributed over the wall, toward the open end of the preparation bore and is ejected into the aspirated air of the internal combustion engine.

Abstract: An apparatus for removing solid particles from internal combustion engine exhaust gases is proposed, in which the flow of exhaust gas travels at a high speed of more than 2.5 m/sec through an elongated tube (4), in which a corona discharge takes place from a coaxial spray disk/electrode arrangement toward the wall of the tube. Inside the tube, the soot particles are agglomerated to form larger particles, which are not deposited on the walls because of the high flow speed, which then carries them to a centrifugal precipitator, leading away from which are a tube carrying scrubbed exhaust gas and an outlet having a small quantity of exhaust gas highly enriched with soot. This soot-enriched flow of exhaust gas can advantageously be recirculated to the intake side of the associated engine for afterburning.

Abstract: A pressure valve is proposed which is installed in the supply line which leads from a fuel injection pump to a fuel injection valve. The pressure valve has a return-feed collar provided with a throttle connection and a relief conduit is provided parallel to the return-feed collar and to the valve closing member sealing face. Via a check valve and a throttle, the relief conduit establishes the communication between the supply line toward the injection pump and the supply line toward the injection valve. By means of the combination of the return-feed collar having a throttle with a check valve acting as a pressure maintenance valve, a desired residual pressure can be established in an adapted manner in the supply line toward the injection valve, and the injection duration in particular can be adapted to the requirements of a fuel injection pump which pumps at a reduced feed rate during idling operation.
Abstract: A pump/nozzle unit having a piston injection pump and an injection nozzle which includes a pump piston that is driven via a drive tappet and is rotatable via a regulating sleeve. The regulating sleeve is inserted into a recess on the end face of the pump housing and is axially secured in its installed state by means of a guide bushing. The guide bushing comprises a guide part for the drive tappet and a flange radially protruding beyond the outer diameter of the tappet spring, the flange being secured on the pump housing by a holder mechanism. The forces exerted upon the pump/nozzle unit during operation are absorbed by a securing arrangement.

Abstract: An automatic apparatus for testing the spacing of gear teeth in a gear wheel is disclosed, in which the spacing testing is performed for both the left and right flanks of the teeth in a single gear revolution, and the switchover or deflection of the two measuring feelers from one flank to the other against fixed stops is avoided, thereby preventing shocks and vibrations in that measuring position that could produce incorrect measurements.
Abstract: A magnetic valve, in particular a fuel metering valve for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, is proposed which serves to measure the injection quantity and control the instant of injection. In a valve housing, the magnetic valve has an electromagnet and a valve closing element actuated thereby, which cooperates with a fixed valve seat. To damp the opening movement of the valve closing element against a fixed stop and to keep the hydraulic forces of adhesion between the valve closing element and the stop low, a damping chamber that is open toward the valve closing element is disposed on the stop. As the valve closing element approaches, fluid is positively displaced out of the damping chamber in the form of a squish flow between the stop face and the head element of the valve closing element, so that recoiling is avoided due to thus-generated damping.
Abstract: A brake booster having one open and one closed brake circuit, in which a tight partition penetrated by a pedal tappet extension is disposed between the two pressure chambers of the brake circuits. During normal braking, the pressure distribution from the open brake circuit to the closed brake circuit is effected via a magnetic valve capable of being switched over for the initiation of ABS regulating functions, so that it is possible to realize a simultaneous control of pressure in both brake circuits for both normal braking and for the realization, by the simplest means, of ABS functions is possible.

This vehicle is improved in that it further comprises a tree gripping unit mounted laterally of the blade at one end thereof, in a position to pick up a tree lying on the ground.
