Abstract: An apparatus for the injection of fuel into combustion chambers, in particular of self-igniting internal combustion engines, having an injection nozzle (10) and a subsequent glow body (20), which has a conduit (30) surrounded by heatable walls (26) and serving for the passage therethrough of the injected streams. At least one lateral opening (32) discharges into this conduit (30), the opening preferably communicating with a region (46) of the combustion chamber (36) remote from the core region of the ignition. The air aspirated through the lateral opening (32) warms up and enters into the peripheral zone of the injected streams, where the result is an air-fuel ratio and temperature conditions which are very favorable for ignition. Less heat energy is required to initiate the ignition than in the known apparatus of this general type.

Abstract: A socket set in which all of the sockets of decreasing order can interfit into each other and for connecting to the drive for transporting from one place to another. Abstract: A main brake cylinder for vehicle brake systems, in which a control valve effects the application of an auxiliary force to at least one brake piston. Additionally engaging the control valve and supplementarily for possibly adjusting the brake pedal is an arbitrarily actuatable final control element, which is triggered by electrical signals of any desired form and duration. As a result, a feeding of pressure into the brake circuit is effected independently of the brake pedal actuation and as a function of electrical control signals, as a result of which a multiplicity of further possible applications of such a brake valve are afforded, for instance in order to realize a drive slippage regulation, self-diagnosis as to tightness, function, output and pressure supply, and stepped braking.
Abstract: A fuel injection nozzle is proposed in which the wrench hexagon of the nozzle holder, in order to reduce the structural length, is arranged to surround the spring chamber and the leakage oil connection is placed in this area of material reinforcement.

Abstract: An apparatus for measuring the mass of a flowing medium and a method for producing the apparatus are proposed in which a plate-like carrier on which at least one resistance coating is applied. Continuous fastening openings are provided in the carrier and the resistance coating such that they extend parallel to one another and at the same distance from one edge of the carrier. Rigid electrical connections are inserted through the fastening openings and are soldered provisionally with the resistance coating. A source of current is applied to each of the electrical connections for heating the connections to such an extent that the solder between the electrical connections and the resistance coating melts, causing the carrier located in a steady laminar flow to rotate into a streamlined position. The heating current is then interrupted, and the solder, as it sets, fixes the carrier in this streamlined position at the electrical connections.
Abstract: A sliding-link mechanism is proposed, which serves in particular to actuate a throttle device in the intake tube of an internal combustion engine. The sliding-link mechanism is disposed by way of example on a throttle valve assembly and includes a variable-fulcrum lever, which is firmly connected to a shaft and has a kidney-shaped oblong slot groove, which is engaged by a roller rotatably supported on a shaft. The shaft is secured on a roller lever, which with a hub is seated on an eccentric sleeve, which can be rotatable about a shaft secured to the throttle valve assembly. The eccentric sleeve and the hub have meshing teeth which by axial displacement relative to one another become disengaged, so that by rotating the eccentric sleeve the position of the roller lever relative to the variable-fulcrum lever can be varied in such a way that in the outset position the roller comes to rest on the end of the oblong slot groove.
Abstract: What is proposed is a drilling attachment for use with a machine tool that rotates a workpiece in which the drilling apparatus is moved into an operative position to the workpiece by means of the machine tool slide and is rotated with the workpiece so that a drilling member associated with the rotating drilling apparatus is caused to rotate and to enter the workpiece while the same is rotating.
Abstract: A tractor-trailer braking system with a control valve for the trailer which is controllable by at least two service brake circuits of the tractor. One circuit of this multi-circuit control has an electrical control in the form of magnetic valves, or the like, in order to speed up the control process. The system may be combined with a load-dependent switching element and/or with an anti-skid protection-dependent switching element.

Abstract: A damper element is proposed which serves to damp a pulsating fluid flow, and in particular to smooth out and reduce pressure fluctuations arising in fuel supply systems for internal combustion engines in motor vehicles. The damper element includes at least one damper diaphragm which is fastened in a damper housing and defines a fluid chamber on one side. A connection fitting is disposed on the damper housing and is inserted into a plug connection of a fluid flow cross section. A flow opening is embodied in the fluid flow cross section, being open toward the fluid chamber and toward the fluid flow cross section. The flow opening and the fluid flow cross section are penetrated by a flow tube arranged to protrude therethrough, and into which a first fluid line, which discharges into the fluid chamber, is embodied. Between the flow tube and the wall of the flow opening, an annular, second fluid line is embodied.

Abstract: A pump/nozzle unit having an injection nozzle installed at at least approximately right angles to the longitudinal axis (A) on the pump housing of the piston injeciton pump. The injection pump is supported with a support face, which embodies its most extreme axial extension, on a support bearing located on the cylinder head of the engine. The support face is embodied by an outwardly pointing end face of a counterpart piston which is inserted into the pump cylinder in an extension of the longitudinal axis (A) and, with an inner end face, seals off the pump work chamber in a pressure-tight manner. As a result, the pumping forces resulting from the fuel which is placed under pressure in the pump work chamber are kept from affecting the pump housing and intercepted at a location on the cylinder head which is remote from a receiving bore for the injection nozzle.
Abstract: An rpm governor for internal combustion engines having two cooperating levers pivotable about a shaft and engaged at one end by at least one governor spring and, counter to this force, by at least one rpm signal transducer is proposed. An idling spring engages one of the two levers, and its other end is adjustably disposed in the governor housing. As a result, a very fine idling adjustment is attainable, independently of the conventional governor springs, and so a "hole" in the engine torque during a transition from overrunning to loaded operation is avoided.
Abstract: A cross slide contour forming box tool which can be applied to automatic screw machines for contour forming desired contours on the outside of a workpiece. The contour forming tool is positioned to a transverse slide perpendicular to the drive axis. The transverse slide is driven by a pin and cam groove in the face of a cam so that the contour forming tool is positioned in accordance with the shape of the cam groove. The workpiece is rotated relative to the contour forming tool and the desired contour is formed on the surface of the workpiece.
Abstract: In a fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, a leakage connection is provided for varying the fuel supply quantity and the supply onset in accordance with rpm. The leakage connection, in a pump piston executing the stroke movement, is effective only at the beginning of the supply stroke of the pump piston and becomes gradually less effective in stages in the middle rpm range. The leakage connection has an outer groove in the pump piston, a blind bore discharging in the piston end face, and at least one throttle bore connecting the blind bore with the bore bottom of the outer groove. The outer groove extends over only a portion of the circumference of the pump piston and parallel to the piston end face at a very small distance therefrom.
Abstract: A combine harvester comprising a threshing chamber having a threshing drum, a reaping section, a separating section, a conveyor and guide means of V-shaped disposed in the threshing chamber wherein the center line of the reaping section in the longitudinal direction of the harvester body and the tip of the guide means are deviated to the same side with respect to the center line of the conveyor in the longitudinal direction of the harvester body.
Abstract: A fluidic flowmeter comprising a combination of an upstream fluidic element and a downstream fluidic element. One of the fluidic elements includes a jet nozzle having a smaller opening area than a jet nozzle of the other. The flowmeter further comprises a bypass passage disposed parallel to the former fluidic element and including valve means, preferably a diaphragm type governor valve. The governor valve includes a main valve member and an auxiliary valve member adapted to open by a fluid pressure upstream thereof when the main valve member is in a closed position. Each of the fluidic elements has a sensor disposed in one of return passages to detect flow rate variations therein. A flow rate indicating device is provided to derive flow rates from signals received from the sensors and indicate the flow rates.
Abstract: A transmission for a tractor in which a forward-reverse change mechanism M3 is disposed between a first change speed mechanism M1 and a second change speed mechanism M2 and to the first change speed mechanism M1 a PTO countershaft 34 and a PTO shaft shaft 32 connected thereto are operatively connected. A drive shaft 47 for front wheels is operatively connected to the second change speed mechanism M2. A rotational power is transmitted to a mid-PTO shaft 39 from the PTO countershaft 34 via a gear 50 which is mounted freely and rotatably on the drive shaft 47 for the front wheels.
Abstract: An automatic test apparatus for testing circumferential spacing in gears, as well as a further development for testing deviations in tooth thickness, tooth gaps, and gear concentricity, are disclosed, in which with a single revolution of the gear the testing of circumferential spacing is accomplished for both the right and left flanks of the wheel. The values for the deviations in gear concentricity, tooth thickness and tooth gaps are preferably detected at the same time, thereby avoiding the possibility that the measuring feeler can undergo vibration-caused deviations with respect to the tooth flank to be approached for attaining a particular measuring position.
