  • Patent number: 8246252
Abstract: A bearing apparatus has a rolling bearing including an outer ring (11), an inner ring (12), and rolling elements (13) disposed between the two rings, and a temperature sensor (TS) for measuring an internal temperature of the rolling bearing. A wire from the temperature sensor extends to the outside via a through-hole (11d) formed in a component of the bearing apparatus, and hence the temperature sensor can be disposed in a desired position with excellent wiring extension flexibility, thereby enabling a temperature in the desired position of the bearing to be measured. The temperature sensor, which can be configured thin in a small size with flexibility, can therefore be incorporated into whichever portion of the bearing, wherein a high response to temperature detection is attained, and detectability of abnormality in temperature can be improved.

  • Patent number: 8240501
Abstract: A closure for a food can including a foil end panel bonded to an intermediate ring which is fixed to the can body. The foil panel comprises a diaphragm having a centre panel which included at least one concentric bead. The profile of this beaded panel is selected so that its downward position is no greater than the lowest point of the intermediate ring. The provision of the bead(s) reduces pressure differences experienced by the diaphragm, particularly during processing of the can contents, due to the volume increase available from the beads.

  • Patent number: 8244199
Abstract: In view of achieving a cost reduction of an antenna switch, a technique is provided which can reduce harmonic distortion generated in the antenna switch as much as possible in particular even when the antenna switch is comprised of a field effect transistor formed over a silicon substrate. Each of a TX series transistor, an RX series transistor, and an RX shunt transistor is comprised of a low voltage MISFET, while a TX shunt transistor is comprised of a high voltage MISFET. Thus, by reducing the number of serial connections of the high voltage MISFETs constituting the TX shunt transistor, the nonuniformity of the voltage amplitudes applied to the respective serially-coupled high voltage MISFETs is suppressed. As a result, the generation of high-order harmonics can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 8238440
Abstract: The present invention is directed to lessen burden at the time of solving a conflict of overlapping processes in processes for a plurality of interruption factors. On completion of data transfer to an external memory, a data transfer completion interruption of high priority is generated. In the case where data transfer of predetermined number of packets is not completed in reception interruption, a timer interruption of low priority is generated. Before processing data in an external memory responding to the interruption, the number of transfer packets is obtained from a counter. After restart of reception, the counter stores the number of transfer restart packets. After obtaining the number of transfer packets from a counter responding to the occurrence of the timer interruption, a data transfer completion interruption is generated.

  • Patent number: 8238864
Abstract: The present invention aims to efficiently calibrate the characteristics of a pair of reception or transmission low-pass filters by a receiving or transmitting circuit. A semiconductor integrated circuit includes an RF receiver that processes an RF reception signal, an RF transmitter that generates an RF transmission signal and a frequency synthesizer. A reception low-pass filter of the RF receiver suppresses undesired components contained in I and Q baseband reception signals. A transmission low-pass filter of the RF transmitter suppresses noise due to D/A conversion, which is contained in I and Q transmission analog baseband signals. A calibration test signal is supplied to the inputs of the pair of reception or transmission low-pass filters. A difference in phase between the pair of filters is detected by a phase detection unit. A calibration controller calibrates a relative mismatch between the cut-off frequencies of the pair of filters.

  • Patent number: 8239600
Abstract: The present invention provides a data processing system having excellent immediacy of interrupting process. Different interrupt request signals are supplied from a circuit module which can be commonly used by a plurality of central processing units to a plurality of interrupt controllers assigned to central processing units, respectively. In response to the input interrupt request signal, each of the interrupt controllers notifies the corresponding central processing unit of an interrupt. The circuit module selects an interrupt controller for supplying an interrupt request signal from the plural interrupt controllers. For example, the circuit module identifies a central processing unit which instructed a start request and supplies an interrupt request signal to an interrupt controller corresponding to the central processing unit. The burden of the interrupting process of the single central processing unit can be lessened.

  • Patent number: 8238207
Abstract: A technique capable of realizing a power saving in a device for reproducing/recording digital signals by properly controlling a frequency of a clock. The device for reproducing/recording digital signals (device for reproducing an optical disk) includes: a difference comparing circuit for comparing a first parameter (demodulating block counter) updated each time a process for one correcting block is done in a demodulating circuit with a second parameter (error correcting block counter) updated each time a process of one correcting block is done in an error correcting circuit; and a circuit (clock controlling circuit etc.) for switching a frequency of a master clock (MCLK) depending on a comparison result of the difference comparing circuit. Thereby, the frequency of the clock can be switched both of when the demodulation for one correcting block is ended and when the correcting process for one correcting block is ended by using the switched master clock.
