  • Patent number: 5131132
Abstract: A high degree of accuracy with regard to the location of a line such as a rail line is effected and a rigid, force-receiving connection with regard to a supporting structure and the precisely positioned mounting of components to be connected thereto at predetermined connection sites on a carrying structure particularly for magnetic cushion trains. Adjustable bolt connections have proven to be very awkward to mount and have therefore been replaced by computer controlled machining of connection elements for the components to be connected and which are fixedly connected to the track structure. The machining and also the mounting of the components to be connected is simplified by determining the desired position for the connection elements with regard to the connection sites. The connection elements are provided with spacers sized to guarantee their desired position with regard to the connection sites and by bolt elements screwed to the track standards at the respective connection sites.

  • Patent number: 5131595
Abstract: A bobbin for dyeing spools possesses an openwork wall on which is wound the yarn for forming the spool, and comprises a plurality of rings (3) which are mutually connected by a series of inclined bridges (5), of greater length than the interspace between contiguous rings (3) and are deformable under the action of the axial compression of the bobbin. The length of the bridges (5) is less than the interspace between two contiguous bridges (5) of a single series of bridges for connecting two consecutive rings (3).

  • Patent number: 5132580
Abstract: A labyrinth ring having a section of L-shape is radially, inwardly and integrally projected from the inner periphery of a brush holder stay of a motor. This labyrinth ring provides a labyrinth construction in a space portion extending from brushes and a ball and roller bearing in cooperation with the brush holder stay, a commutator, a bearing holder and a distance ring. The thickness of this labyrinth ring is determined to be so thin as to increase the volume of a carbon accumulating space portion formed between the bearing holder and itself as large as possible.

  • Patent number: 5129484
Abstract: A traveling device for raising or lowering persons or objects for theater stages or the like has a two-part traveling carriage. The two traveling carriage parts (1 and 2) are connected by lattice girders 3 to form one unit. Elevating platforms 4 of different sizes can be suspended on the cable winches of the traveling carriage parts. The winch frames 9 are telescopic 10. The lowering device is consequently variable in terms of the size of its elevating platform and the lifting height. The modular concept permits easy transportation in the form of individual parts and simple set-up of the lowering device.

  • Patent number: 5129171
Abstract: A device for zone-by-zone tensioning of a flat material, especially an embroidery hoop. According to one possible solution, tensioning and clamping are brought about by a change in the circumferential length of a tensioning member that can be filled, by a gas or a fluid and another solution brings this about by twisting a tensioning member. To generate a strong tensioning force in the material, it is proposed in the first solution that the tensioning member be designed as a crease-free tube with a body. By selecting a cord angle of the body, tensioning can be achieved by increasing or decreasing the pressure and by increasing or decreasing the circumferential length. According to another solution, the tensioning member is designed as a torsion body that can be twisted in itself, preferably as a reinforced hollow body, which may also form a closed ring. To increase the tensioning force without unduly stressing the material, the device is designed with a rigid outer ring and a twistable inner ring.

  • Patent number: 5129325
Abstract: There is proposed an ejector device (6) for grenade projector or mortar projectiles (1), which permits simulation of mortar firing even in halls or very limited areas. It is known that blank cartridges (17) for rifles, pistols or bolt firing devices have only a slight degree of scatter in terms of gas pressure. Therefore the ejection speed of a piston (13) which is inserted into the ejector device (6) and which is driven by the powder propellent gases of the blank cartridge (17) is always the same. In that way it is always possible to achieve the same firing ranges of only a few meters.

  • Patent number: 5127240
Abstract: A knitting machine is provided for producing tubular articles based on two fixed bars of needles wherein rows are formed partly by the needles of one bar and partly by the needles of the other bar. A thread is provided which is displaced alternately in both directions along the bars. Cam rings are provided rotating in continuous motion and in opposite directions. Each of the cam rings including cams acting on one of the needle bars for providing trajectories of the needles of one of the two bars forming a limited angle, generally than 30.degree., relative to the trajectories of the corresponding needles of the other bar. The needles of the two bars are arranged offset and are controlled by the cams to provide the sliding movement necessary for the formation of the stitches of the tubular fabrics. Sliding movement is provided such that the hooks do not cross over during the formation of stitches such that it is possible to work on both bars simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 5125705
Abstract: A construction for mounting an automobile bumper to an automobile frame. Upwardly extending brackets are provided at tips of two side members of the frame. Threaded bores are formed on top surfaces of the brackets and threaded bores are formed on side surfaces of the side members of the frame. An upper and lower part of the bumper is provided with a first and second stay extending toward the frame. A threaded through hole is formed at a tip of each stay. A rear portion of the bumper is placed in abutment with a front surface of the brackets so as to place a tip of the first stay on the top surface of the bracket. A tip of the second stay is placed along the side surface of the side members. Screws are provided through the through holes in the first and second stays to engage the screws threadably in the threaded bores in the brackets and the side members respectively.

  • Patent number: 5125210
Abstract: A device for covering bales of unpacted fiber materials includes a winding device, which has spaced apart substantially parallel first and second rolls of bale covering material, on which a single covering material is wound such that the material extends between the two rolls of material. A bale of the fibrous material is formed on a support which, in one embodiment, comprises a carriage so that there is a relative movement between the bale support and the winding device, so as to cause the support with the bale to move through the plane of the covering material, thus, cause the material to wrap around the adjacent end and the sides, and up to the front end which is opposite the adjacent end. Covering material ends, which are arrived at the front of the bale are directed to a clamping device so that they are closed in the front of the bale.
