  • Patent number: 4645125
Abstract: A transport mechanism for heat in housing includes the use of liquid media such as warm water and gaseous media such as heated air. For either of these heat transport media, a circulation pump or a blower is necessary with the exception of special cases. This invention relates to a heat transport method where the heat media is evaporated by a steam generator which is fed up to an objective heat emitting device through steam tubes. At this heat emitting device, the steam is condensed for utilization of the latent heat being obtained by this condensation to space heating, water heating and so on. Further, the condensed heat media liquid is once stored in a condensed liquid vessel which is under atmospheric pressure, and the heat media liquid inside the condensed liquid vessel is circulated into the steam generator via steam tubes by stopping the heating of the steam generator and utilizing the pressure reduction being caused inside the steam generator.

  • Patent number: 4645057
Abstract: A device for coupling carriers comprises a housing adapted to be mounted on the carrier and having a face with an opening forming a coupling trap. A flexible cable has one end secured to the housing and an opposite end extending out of the housing which has a plug thereon which is engageable in the coupling trap of an adjacent carrier. The housing also carries a releasable lock which is engageable with the plug to hold it in the trap when it is inserted therein. The device operates electrically under the control of a coin which passes through a coin chute in the housing and actuates an electrical switch which has an actuator portion in the chute. The switch is connected to the lock and it releases the lock and traps the coin in the chute so as to permit release of the plug from the trap and use of the carrier. When the carrier is returned and the plug is again inserted into the trap, the coin is released.

  • Patent number: 4644887
Abstract: In a sewing machine with a device for setting the feed movement of a cloth feed by a revolving stitch regulator adjustable relative to the main shaft and comprising an eccentric which is connected to the cloth feed via a transmission and whose setting element is, after locking engagement with the housing of the sewing machine by a fixing element adjustable in stepwise setting amounts by rotation of the main shaft, and which is equipped with a display device for indicating the adjustment amount of the setting element, a pulse generator is coupled with the main shaft of the sewing machine for the visible display of the feed amount during operation of the machine. The pulse generator cooperates with markings which deliver pulses corresponding to the stepwise amounts and can be switched on via a switch actuable upon locking engagement of the setting element. The pulse generator is connected to a display unit via a pulse evaluating device.

  • Patent number: 4645265
Abstract: A roll cutter loader is guided on a plane guide and has a machine frame with cutter rolls pulled by a plane chain. The machine frame is subdivided into two machine joint elements each with a cutter roll and roll drive assembly. The two machine joint elements are lower in structural height than the cutter rolls and are adjustably connected together relative to the floor, on the one hand via a joint and on the other hand via a setting device. In this way maneuverable, adaptable and compact construction is achieved, so that the roll cutter loader can be used to mine low mineral lodes.

  • Patent number: 4644619
Abstract: The invention concerns the production of three-dimensional thread packages. Vertical rods (11) are maintained in a stationary arranged network by engagement through perforated plates (12,13). A thread (10) is deposited from above this network by a shuttle (9) in a sinuous path between upper end portions of the rods (11). The layers of thread thus formed in succession, supported by the perforated plate (12) which undergoes a descending movement, are compacted by a perforated plate (7) which is lowered upon the finishing of each layer. A lacing arrangement (35) replaces the rods (11) by threads after the thread layer phase.

  • Patent number: 4643118
Abstract: In a sewing machine with a feed device which comprises a feed wheel arranged next to a stitch formation point, driven synchronously with stitch formation tools, and mounted in a support provided at the housing of the sewing machine, in order to obtain an extremely exact drive in both directions, the feed wheel is placed in driving connection with a step motor. In a manner known in itself, the step motor receives stepping pulses which can be generated by a pulse generator operating synchronously with a main shaft of the machine and via a counting device that determines the feed amount. This feed amount is presettable by selectable digital data contained in a memory. In an arrangement wherein the feed wheel is connected to its drive via a deflection gearing and a transmission shaft mounted in the support, the deflection gearing consists of a ring gear attached to the feed wheel and of a pinion firmly connected to the transmission shaft.
