  • Patent number: 4613261
Abstract: A chip collecting device for a routing tool is in the form of a hood or box having a wall surrounding part of the circumference of the routing bit. Chips thrown tangentially outwards from the bit are guided by the wall onto an upwardly sloping ramp when they pass into the suction current of a dust aspirating means that acts in an upward direction adjacent to the bit. The chip collecting hood or box is mounted on the lower side of an L-shaped stop in rails. The stop has a passage for the chips placed over the ramp.

  • Patent number: 4613575
Abstract: Organic isocyanates are detected with an indicator comprising bis-4-(dimethylamino)-phenyl-methylenimine-hydrochloride provided on a carrier along with a catalyst for its reaction with the organic isocyanates contained in a tested gas. Through an acid developer brought subsequently into contact with the indicator, this reaction occurs and thus the concentration of the organic isocyanates is made evident by a red coloration of the indicator.

  • Patent number: 4612867
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the pattern-correct sewing together of two pieces of cloth having the same pattern by a sewing machine with one cloth feed mechanism arranged over and one arranged under the cloth pieces, the feed quantity of which is variably by at least one positioning system relative to each other, uses a sensor arranged upstream of a stitch forming point for each cloth piece and a signal processing unit which processes signals from the sensors corresponding to the relative position of the cloth pieces and which influences the positioning system for the feed mechanism in accordance with the established relative position of the cloth pieces. For the pattern-correct sewing together of the two cloth pieces, the pattern structure of each cloth piece is continuously determined by the sensors by measuring values of a structure-or pattern-typical criterion.

  • Patent number: 4613071
Abstract: Steam heating equipment for the interior of a room recirculating heating fluid after it has condensed in a heat emitter for heating the room. The heat media liquid is sealed in an enclosed steam generator which supplies steam to the heat emitter via a steam conducting pipe. The heat media liquid which has condensed in the emitter by giving up its latent heat to the ambient air, is stored inside a condensed liquid vessel which is under atmospheric pressure. When the heat media liquid inside the steam generator has been depleted to a certain level, the heating of the steam generator is stopped. The heat media liquid which has previously been stored inside the condensed liquid vessel is then recirculated into the steam generator through a liquid circulation pipe which is separate from the aforesaid steam conducting pipe, by utilizing a pressure reduction action within the steam generator causing its cooling.

  • Patent number: 4611530
Abstract: A fluid driven oscillating piston motor is made up of a housing, a shaft mounted in the housing so that it may be oscillated, and a piston running out from the shaft for turning it. The piston divides a space in the housing into two working spaces that are alternately pressurized and relieved of pressure so that the piston is turned through an angle as limited by an adjustable system of stops. The housing is split up into a shell and a lid therefor. Inner faces of the shell engaged by the piston are free or joins because it is made by molding or pressure casting. The shell and the lid are held together by a band with a clamping effect. The piston is joined to the shaft by means of a bush with internal splines fitted into splines of the shaft. A piston seal placed round the shaft is molded in one piece on the oscillating piston.

  • Patent number: 4611548
Abstract: A top transport device on sewing machines includes a spring-loaded presser bar mounted for vertical movement, which is firmly connected with a presser foot, and with a two-armed top transport rocker in operative connection at its upper end via a connecting linkage with a feed drive and carrying a top transport foot, the rocker being mounted on a seating disposed on the presser bar. To improve the kinematic connection between top transport foot and presser foot, the seating is mounted freely displaceable on the presser bar and connected with a bearing piece fastened on the presser bar via an articulated link mechanism, at the articulated joint of which a lifting drive engages. A transitional phase of the pressure shift between presser foot and top transport foot when the latter sets down on the work and when it lifts off results by a connection of the top transport rocker with the seating via a limitedly swingable link.

  • Patent number: 4611589
Abstract: In the regeneration cartridges used in respirators for carbon dioxide adsorption, heat and water are released. Especially the heat becomes a burden for the user. It must, therefore, be removed. To this end, a regenerant of the cartridge is followed by a cooling device which contains a coolant, e.g. water ice. The cooling device comprises a threaded member which is screwed into a screwthread type recess of the cartridge container. The breathing air then sweeps the cooling device in thermal contact in a spiral channel formed between the wall of the container and the insert and terminating in an outlet, as it cools the breathing air. The condensation collects at the lower point of the channel, where there is a spring-loaded drain valve, and when the valve has opened, it drains to the outside under the force of the positive respiratory pressure and a collecting condensate water column.

  • Patent number: 4611814
Abstract: To check the operating conditions of a power chuck, compressed air is supplied to the contact surfaces of the clamping jaws and/or of the workpiece to be clamped. Air passages are provided in the chuck body which open into the contact surfaces. The escaping air makes it possible to find out whether the contact is planar, and thus whether the clamping is exact.

  • Patent number: 4611616
Abstract: An axially semisymmetrical supersonic air intake comprises a semiconical reaction engine displacer body having an air gap between the flat bottom of the air intake of the displacer body in the outer contour adjacent thereto of a missile or aircraft. The body transmits the boundary flow of the missile or aircraft and is bridged by a boundary layer plow. The body has a circumferentially distributed aperture on its surface in a zone of external normal shock which is produced during the subcritical conditions oscillating back and forth by which communication is established with the bleed air channel. The bleed air channels lead openings in the body to the flat bottom and may be subdivided by partitions in the interior of the body into individual parallel passages. The channels are formed by semiconical air baffles which are coaxial with the displacer body and taper in a direction opposite to the taper of the displacer body.
