Abstract: A vehicle is provided that includes an imaging device located on the vehicle and oriented to capture images, memory storing one or more pet profiles, and a controller processing the captured images to detect a pet and determining at least one of an estimated pose of the pet and a gait of the pet, wherein the processor determines a bone structure of the pet from the at least one estimated pose and gait and compares the bone structure to the one or more pet profiles to detect an authorized pet, the controller controlling one or more vehicle related features based on the detected authorized pet.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer media for manipulating electronic messages are provided herein. A system for editing electronic messages can include at least one processor, and an application. The application can be configured to, when executed by the at least one processor, send an electronic message from a sender messaging account to a recipient messaging account, edit the message after it has been sent to the recipient messaging account to create an edited message and replace the sent message with the edited message in a same relative location of the sent message in the recipient's inbox, or delete the sent message or the edited message from the recipient's inbox.

An illustrative apparatus includes an electrically insulative substrate having a first substantially planar surface and a second substantially planar surface forming an opposing side of the first substantially planar surface. The second substantially planar surface defines therein self-aligning features that are configured to align at least one power module pin with the electrically insulative substrate. The first substantially planar surface has at least one alignment feature configured to align a printed circuit board with the electrically insulative substrate. The apparatus also includes a routing feature coupled to the electrically insulative substrate. The routing feature is configured to route at least one low voltage conductor.

Abstract: A system for a head-up display for an electric aircraft is presented. The system includes an augmented reality device which may be operated by a pilot using a pilot device and a computing device connected to the pilot device, wherein the computing device is configured to receive an aircraft datum and generate a performance assessment model. Abstract: In some implementations, a compliance monitoring device may detect a trigger event associated with a compliance-based interaction. The compliance-based interaction may be associated with a secure location, a user device of a user, a sensor associated with a secure object, and one or more cameras. The compliance monitoring device may cause the one or more cameras to capture a set of images associated with the compliance-based interaction. The compliance monitoring device may receive the images and may extract image information from the set of images. The compliance monitoring device may receive positioning information associated with the user device and status information associated with the secure object. The compliance monitoring device may analyze at least one of the image information, the positioning information, or the status information to identify a compliance rule violation. The compliance monitoring device may provide an alert indication based on identifying the compliance rule violation.
Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for improving the accuracy of autonomous vehicle simulations by dynamically assigning friction coefficients to road features based on sensor data. A method of the disclosed technology can include steps for associating a predetermined friction coefficient to road features; receiving sensor data from a sensor on an autonomous vehicle; identifying, from the sensor data, the presence of a road feature; assigning in a simulation, a friction coefficient corresponding to the road feature based on the predetermined friction coefficient associated with road feature; and generating, based on the assigned friction coefficient, a simulation of a trip by the autonomous vehicle as the autonomous vehicle traverses the road feature.
Abstract: Techniques for implementing a hybrid search for documents having a parent-child relationship are disclosed. In some embodiments, a computer-implemented method comprises: building a base index using a first table of parent documents and a second table of child documents, the base index storing document identifiers of the parent and child documents in contiguous document blocks, where each document block stores the document identifier of a parent documents and the document identifier of each one of the child documents that is related to the parent document in a sorted order; subsequent to the building of the base index, updating a live index to include document identifiers of additional parent documents that have been added the first table and document identifiers of additional child documents that have been added to the second table; and computing a hybrid set of search results for a search query using the base index and the live index.

Abstract: A payment system reduces transaction costs for online merchants. The payment system receives a transaction amount for the purchase of goods or services by a consumer from an online merchant. The payment system receives bank identification numbers for a plurality of accounts of the consumer that could be used by the consumer to pay for the good or services. The payment system determines transaction costs associated with processing a payment transaction with an acquirer processor using each of the consumer accounts. The payment system determines a recommended consumer account to use for the purchase of the good or services based at least in part on the transaction costs. Tender steering information is generated and sent to the consumer. Tender steering information includes the recommended consumer account information and one or more incentives to incentivize the consumer to use the recommended consumer account for the payment of the goods or services.

Abstract: A paint spraying machine for applying plural component coating materials with a component A and a component B, the machine having separate hoppers for each component in which the components A and B are held respectively, a pump operable to separately pressurize the components to independently selected pressures for each component, where the pump includes a separate pump lower for each component, a mix manifold configured to receive the components separately from the pump and mix the components to a selected, fixed mix ratio, manually operated controls adjustable to control flow of the components through the machine, and a spray line including a spray gun operable to spray the mixed and pressurized components. The fixed mix ratio is determined by the volumetric displacement of the pump lowers selected. The components remain separate until combined together in the mix manifold forming the coating.

Abstract: Dynamic supply of trusted certificates to a containerized environment by mounting a directory into a container image can be implemented as computer-readable methods, media and systems. The directory stores trusted certificates related to a tenant account at a platform system. The trusted certificates include user specific trusted certificates relevant for authentication at an external system and default certificates relevant for an operating system running at a containerized runtime environment of the tenant account. The trusted certificates are used during execution of functions requested by a user of the tenant account. A function that is defined for a tenant account is executed at a container instantiated at the containerized runtime environment of the platform system. The function dynamically uses the trusted certificates maintained at the directory that is mounted at the containerized runtime environment, where at least one of the trusted certificates is used for authentication at the external system.
