Abstract: Systems and methods for a six-primary color system for display. A six-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. The six-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.
Abstract: The present invention relates to the technical field of environmental engineering, and particularly relates to a method for treating and recycling waste slurry in bobbin paper production. The present invention employs aerobic granular sludge technology-based two-stage process of treating and recycling waste slurry in bobbin paper production, and has features of low agent feeding, small floor space occupation, a short operating cycle, and easy controllability. By treating a high-load waste slurry in an adsorption section having aerobic granular sludge, fibrous materials in the waste slurry can be concentrated efficiently and resource substances can be recycled. By treating water discharged from the adsorption section with aerobic granular sludge in a biochemistry section, a water release can be guaranteed to stably meet the standard.

Abstract: A six-DOF motion testing and motion parameter decoupling method for rotors based on shaft-disk is proposed, which includes a displacement sensor tooling and a precision shaft-disk fixed on the rotor where three measuring points are arranged on the surface of disk to measure the axial motion of the rotor, two measuring points on the shaft to measure the radial motion, and the angle encoder at the shaft shoulder to measure the rotation motion. The tooling guarantees the accuracy of displacement sensors. The fixed coordinate system and the shaft-disk moving coordinate system are set, and the measured values of the displacement sensors and the encoder are represented by vectors to establish the relationship between the six-DOF motion of the shaft-disk axis and the measured values of sensors. Thus, the six-DOF motion of the rotor/shaft-disk can be determined by the measured data.

The generation of blended membranes by mixing two chemically distinct block copolymers in the casting solution demonstrates a pathway to advanced asymmetric block copolymer derived films, which can be used as ultrafiltration membranes, in which different pore surface chemistries and associated functionalities can be integrated into a single membrane via standard membrane fabrication, i.e. without requiring laborious post-fabrication modification steps. The block copolymers may be diblock, triblock and/or multiblock mixes and some block copolymers in the mix may be functionally modified. Triblock copolymers comprising a reactive group (e.g.

A magnetron generator is positioned adjacent the multimode cavity and is electromagnetically coupled with liquid within the reaction vessel. A stirring motor is positioned adjacent a bottom surface of multimode cavity and operatively coupled with the reaction vessel to stir the liquid within reaction vessel. A parabolic arm air cooled condenser is terminally connected to the reaction vessel to be in fluid communication with the reaction vessel. A gravity vacuum funnel, where the gravity vacuum funnel is in communication with a first air/water cooled condenser. The first air/water cooled condenser outputs fresh water to a fresh water storage unit.
Abstract: Though massively parallel sequencing instruments are in principle well-suited to the task of identification of mutations present in a small fraction of DNA templates, the error rates in such instruments are generally too high to allow confident identification of rare variants. An approach that can substantially increase the sensitivity of massively parallel sequencing instruments for this purpose is called “Safe-SeqS” for (Safe-Sequencing System) and includes (i) assignment of a unique identifier (UID) to each template molecule; (ii) amplification of each uniquely tagged template molecule to create UID-families; and (iii) redundant sequencing of the amplification products. PCR fragments with the same UID are truly mutant (“super-mutants”) if ?95% of them contain the identical mutation.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for acquiring imaging data from one or more resonance species that simultaneously produce individual magnetic resonance signals in a plurality of different slices. The data is acquired by simultaneously exciting, using a pTX RF coil array, a plurality of different slices such that at least some of the plurality of different slices are excited by transmitting RF energy from a subset of transmit channels in the pTX RF coil array. The method also includes comparing the data to a dictionary of signal evolutions to determine quantitative values for two or more parameters of the resonant species based, at least in part, on matching the data to a set of known signal evolutions stored in the dictionary. The method includes producing an image for each of the plurality of different slice locations, at least in part, on the quantitative values.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing isophorone diamine by means of a hydrogenation reduction of isophorone nitrile imine. The hydrogenation reduction is continuously carried out in a multi-stage bubble column reactor loaded with a supported alkaline cobalt-based catalyst, wherein isophorone nitrile imine is successively in countercurrent contact with hydrogen in each stage of the reactor to carry out a hydrogenation reduction reaction, so as to obtain the isophorone diamine. The preparation method solves the problem of back-mixing, and further improves the conversion rate and the cis/trans ratio of the product.
