    Abstract: A system and method for gene editing by using an engineered cell are provided. The system includes the engineered cell embedded with a synthetic protein receptor and a target cell. The engineered cell contains a CRISPR/CasRx system and a sgRNA gene sequence. The synthetic protein receptor includes an extracellular target cell recognition domain, a native Notch core domain, an intramembranous hydrolyzable polypeptide and effectors. The extracellular target cell recognition domain can recognize antigen molecules on the target cell surface; and the effectors act as transcription factors for CasRx enzyme and sgRNAs. CasRx and gRNA are expressed in the engineered cell for gene editing to edit mRNA of the target cell. In this way, the application range of the engineered cell is expanded, the pertinence and specificity of gene editing are improved, the off-target effect is reduced, the collective non-specific reaction is reduced, and the safety of gene editing is improved.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for preparing a self-floating transparent nano ultrathin film. According to the present disclosure, the MXene film layer and the nano ultrathin film layer are sequentially subjected to suction filtration on the substrate material by utilizing a vacuum suction filtration technology, and thus a double-film structure is loaded on the substrate material; then an oxidant is subjected to oxidizing and bubbling on the MXene film layer in a permeation way, and thus the substrate material and the nano ultrathin film layer can be separated in a physical isolating manner. Finally, the nano ultrathin film is completely separated in a liquid phase floating separation manner. The nano ultrathin film prepared by the method provided by the present disclosure has a specific thickness and light transmittance through different loading capacities, and the substrate material can be repeatedly utilized.

    Abstract: A programmable assembly of proteins into well-defined nanoworms with broadened stability regimes is disclosed. Posttranslational modifications (PTMs) were used to generate lipidated proteins with precise topological and compositional asymmetry. Using an integrated experimental and computational approach, the material properties (thermoresponse and nanoscale assembly) of these hybrid amphiphiles are modulated by their amphiphilic architecture. The judicious choice of amphiphilic architecture can be used to program the assembly of proteins into adaptive nanoworms that undergo a morphological transition (sphere-to-nanoworms) in response to temperature stimuli.

    Abstract: The metal ceramic powder with a particle size of 15-45 µm and suitable for thermal spraying is prepared through a combination of mechanical ball milling, spray granulation, and vacuum sintering. The metal ceramic powder is sprayed on a surface of a steel substrate adopting the high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) technology with oxygen-propane as fuel and taking oxygen as a combustion improver, propane as fuel, nitrogen as powder feeding carrier gas, and air as a cooling medium to prepare and form the NiCrBSi—ZrB2 composite coating. The present disclosure solves the problem that ZrB2 ceramic is difficult to compact during sintering and improves powder bonding strength and fluidity. The preparation method is simple, has advantages of high coating deposition efficiency and convenient equipment operation, and is cost-effective. The preparation method can improve thermal corrosion resistance and high-temperature wear resistance of a surface of boiler, and prolonging lifetime of the boiler.

In this method, cemented carbide scrap is used as an electrode and the molten salt electrolysis process is used to in-situ synthesize tungsten carbide powder, where a bidirectional pulse is used in the molten salt electrolysis process. In the method provided by the present disclosure, by using the bidirectional pulse and using the cemented carbide scrap as electrode in the molten salt medium, when the tungsten carbide scrap is oxidized, tungsten is dissolved in ionic form, deposited after the direction of current changes, and reacted with the carbon anode sludge in situ to generate tungsten carbide powder.

    Abstract: Improved systems and methods are provided herein for extracting target speech from audio signals that can contain masking speech or other unwanted noise content. These systems and methods include detection of target speech in an input signal by detecting elevated frequency content in the signal above a threshold frequency. Portions of the signal determined to contain such elevated high frequency content are then used to generate audio filters to extract target speech from subsequently-obtained audio signals. This can include performing non-negative matrix factorization to determine a set of basis vectors to represent noise content in the spectral domain and then using the set of basis vectors to decompose subsequently-obtained audio signals into noise signals that can then be removed from the audio signals.
