Abstract: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition and a treatment method to be combined with radiotherapy, for treatment of triple negative breast cancer. More specifically, the pharmaceutical composition comprises a PD-1 blockade and a PI3K? ? inhibitor, and it has excellent effects of inhibiting tumor and enhancing immunity by combining the PD-1 blockade and PI3K? ? inhibitor with radiotherapy, compared to single therapy of each therapeutic agent.

Abstract: A gallium oxide crystal manufacturing device includes a crucible to hold a gallium oxide source material therein, a crucible support that supports the crucible from below, a crucible support shaft that is connected to the crucible support from below and vertically movably supports the crucible and the crucible support, a tubular furnace core tube that surrounds the crucible, the crucible support and the crucible support shaft, a tubular furnace inner tube that surrounds the furnace core tube, and a resistive heating element including a heat-generating portion placed in a space between the furnace core tube and the furnace inner tube. Melting points of the furnace core tube and the furnace inner tube are not less than 1900° C. A thermal conductivity of a portion of the furnace core tube located directly next to the crucible in a radial direction thereof is higher than a thermal conductivity of the furnace inner tube.

Abstract: Methods of vulcanization using a high content sulfur polymer, instead of elemental sulfur, have been developed. These high sulfur content polymers are referred to as Chalcogenide Hybrid Inorganic/Organic Polymers (CHIP) materials and have good polymer compatibility in that they are soluble in a number of polymers. Furthermore, CHIP materials may have weaker bonds than the S—S bonds of elemental sulfur and thus provide for a higher crosslinking efficiency vulcanization.

Abstract: A system for computational localization of fibrillation sources is provided. In some implementations, the system performs operations comprising generating a representation of electrical activation of a patient's heart and comparing, based on correlation, the generated representation against one or more stored representations of hearts to identify at least one matched representation of a heart. The operations can further comprise generating, based on the at least one matched representation, a computational model for the patient's heart, wherein the computational model includes an illustration of one or more fibrillation sources in the patient's heart. Abstract: The invention discloses a strontium ferrite-based sacrificial mortar and its preparation method, the strontium ferrite-based sacrificial mortar mainly comprises 720-1000 parts of sulphoaluminate cement, 100-300 parts of strontium ferrite, 600-650 parts of quartz sand, 400-450 parts of water and 0.01-35 parts of superplasticizer. The preparation process is simple, and the strontium ferrite-based sacrificial mortar can be prepared by using a conventional forced single horizontal shaft concrete mixer. The obtained mortar has excellent working performance, compressive strength and corrosion resistance. It can be used in the current third and future fourth generation nuclear power plant core catchers, and has obvious engineering application value.

Abstract: Provided is a nanogel exhibiting anticoagulation and antioxidation activities, including a graphene-like nanosheet and a polysaccharide, which are complexed to form a cross-linked supramolecular structure. Also provided is a method of preparing the nanogel, including carbonizing the polysaccharide by dry heating. By the heating process, at least a portion of the polysaccharide is conversed into the graphene-like nanosheet, thereby forming a graphene-like nanosheet-embedded phenolic-polysaccharide nanogel that has exceptional polyphenolic structure and high binding affinity toward thrombin. Further provided is a method of preventing or treating a disease or a condition susceptible to amelioration by anticoagulants or antioxidants by using the nanogel.
