    Abstract: Disclosed is a composition and method for a therapeutic treatment that is able to combat neuroinflammation caused by diseases and disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and traumatic brain injury. The class of urea compounds acts by blocking at targeted receptors in the brain that contribute to the increase in inflammation. Combinations of receptors, H1 receptor, H2 receptor, dopamine transporter (DAT), and/or 5HT3C receptor, are individually and/or collectively inhibited by the same compositions of the present disclosure, and this ability leads to a decrease in brain edema. The DAT inhibitory effects additionally maintains dopamine levels in a patient.

The smart closet device also includes a computing unit to generate a three-dimensional (3D) model of the first outfit based on the plurality of images. The computing unit is further configured to update an outfit database by storing the generated 3D model of the first outfit in an outfit database. The computing unit generate an image of a user wearing the output in response to receiving a selection of the first output from the user.

    Abstract: An air-fuel ratio control system for a hybrid vehicle engine is provided, including a torque coordination calculation module, which converts a target effective torque of a hybrid power control unit into a target indicated torque; a torque estimation module, which obtains an estimated indicated torque according to an operating state of an engine; an air-fuel ratio feedback control module, which generates a feedback correction factor based on deviation between the estimated indicated torque and the target indicated torque; and an air-fuel ratio feedforward control module, which converts the target indicated torque into an air-fuel ratio feedforward control signal according to a calibration parameter and engine speed. A target air-fuel ratio is obtained by correcting the air-fuel ratio feedforward control signal, via the feedback correction factor; and the target air-fuel ratio is configured to act on the engine to achieve air-fuel ratio control.

    Abstract: Luminescent solar concentrators in accordance with various embodiments of the invention can be designed to minimize photon thermalization losses and incomplete light trapping using various components and techniques. Cadmium selenide core, cadmium sulfide shell (CdSe/CdS) quantum dot (“QD”) technology can be implemented in such devices to allow for near-unity QDs and sufficiently large Stokes shifts. Many embodiments of the invention include a luminescent solar concentrator that incorporates CdSe/CdS quantum dot luminophores. In further embodiments, anisotropic luminophore emission can be implemented through metasurface/plasmonic antenna coupling. In several embodiments, red-shifted luminophores are implemented. Additionally, top and bottom spectrally-selective filters, such as but not limited to selectively-reflective metasurface mirrors and polymeric stack filters, can be implemented to enhance the photon collection efficiency.

The automatic classification method includes steps: S1: dividing the WSIs for the cervical tissue pathology into small pieces having set size, gathering the small pieces of each WSI into a packet, and removing blank pieces in the packets; S2: building a deep CNN model; S3: training the deep CNN for designated rounds; S4: performing sequential arrangement and connection to obtain feature vectors of WSIs by using the trained deep CNN as the feature extractor; S5: training a support vector machine classifier; and S6: processing the WSIs for the cervical tissue pathology, to be classified, through step S1 and step S4 to obtain the feature vectors of the images, and inputting the feature vectors into the trained support vector machine classifier to realize classification.

By using the D-lactate dehydrogenase and the gene engineering reconstruction method, a fermentation product of the reconstructed Bacillus licheniformis can be redirected to optically-pure D-lactic acid with a high yield from naturally produced 2,3-butanediol, and the optical purity of the produced D-lactic acid reaches 99.9%; and raw materials for fermentation are low-cost, and a fermentation state is between an anaerobic fermentation state and a microaerobic fermentation state.

The fibers and the lenses are in one-to-one correspondence wherein the input end of an optical fiber is located in the focus position of the corresponding converging lens, and the axis of the optical fiber overlaps with the principal axis of the corresponding converging lens. The system is equipped with a sunlight tracking positioning device for synchronized motion, wherein the device is applied to tracking the sun light ray vertical incident into the central converging lens. The system has the function of outputting stable light intensity, that is, it can effectively reduce the variation of the collecting efficiency caused by the positioning deviation between the incident angle of sunlight and the designed input angle.
