Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a highly thermally conductive composite material including PAN-based carbon fiber and a patterned graphite sheet and stitched with pitch-based carbon fiber, and a method for manufacturing the same, and the highly thermally conductive composite material has excellent through-thickness thermal conductivity, in-plane thermal conductivity and compressive strength.

Abstract: A wheel action-based active suspension damping adjustment apparatus recognizes wheel actions through a steering apparatus, distance measuring apparatuses and force sensors and calculates an action damping magnitude according to damping parameters determined by different wheel actions, thereby achieving optimal adjustment under different actions. The changes in an inclination angle of a vehicle cabin floor and a vertical acceleration are monitored by using an inclination angle sensor and acceleration sensors, and meanwhile, an inclination angle damping and an acceleration damping are determined according to exceeding amplitudes, and a total damping of active suspensions is fed back and corrected, thereby further enhancing an adjustment and control effect of the active suspensions.

Abstract: The method comprises separating the outer green rind the room aloe vera leaf thereby cleaning and drying in sunlight for two days followed by oven drying at 80° C. for about 24 hours; pyrolyzing the dried outer green rind in an inert environment of N2 gas at 400° C. for about 1 hour to obtain a pre-carbonized carbon (AV-C); mixing the AV-C with K2CO3 in a 2:1 impregnation ratio to obtain a mixture;; pyrolyzing the mixture of the AV-C and K2CO3 at 900° C.; removing resulting black charred residue and cleaning the resulting charred residue with double-distilled water and isopropyl alcohol; homogenizing the cleaned black material of reduced graphene oxide using an ultrasonic homogenizer at 30% power for 1 hour with 10 pulse rates thereby drying and filtering the reduced graphene oxide to obtain 3D-HPN-rGO; h) preparing an electrode using the obtained 3D-HPN-rGO; and i) constructing a supercapacitor device using the electrodes.

Abstract: An accommodating intraocular lens (IOL) is formed from an anterior or posterior half molded as a chambered, polymer sack with a mouth opening smaller than its largest width that is mated to another half molded as a pliable bowl having a rim larger than the rest of the half. The resulting shell has a seam that is parallel to and does not cross or touch the equator such that the IOL is asymmetric between its front and back. A circular depression around the optical axis can be made in the anterior and/or posterior half such that a surrounding capsular bag seals against the rim of the depression, and an interior of the depression(s) does not touch the capsular bag.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for micromachining a silicon structure especially for SLID bonding, comprising the steps of preparing a silicon wafer with a metal pattern on said silicon, said silicon being exposed outside said pattern, the metal pattern at least having an upper surface consisting of Sn. Abstract: A method for publicly verifiable symmetric cryptography is disclosed. The method includes: obtaining an initial encrypted key and a homomorphic public key; obtaining a first message and an initial signature; calculating an initial hashed value of the first message; setting a cryptographic function of the initial hashed value of the first message and an initial private key; generating an evaluated value based on the cryptographic function, the homomorphic public key, the initial encrypted key, and the initial hashed value of the first message; and transmitting, at the verifier, a verification result based on a hashed value of the initial signature and the evaluated value. Abstract: An interconnect structure for insertion loss reduction in signal transmission and a method thereof are disclosed. In an embodiment, an interconnect is formed on a substrate by chemical etching process, and when the interconnect is protected by photoresist in chemical etching process, the etching direction of etching solution is not oriented, so undercut areas are respectively formed on both sides of a bottom of the interconnect at contact of the interconnect and the substrate because of etching solution residue after the etching process. An included angle formed in the undercut area between the interconnect and the substrate is defined as an etch angle, and a length of the portion, exposing in the undercut area, of the substrate is defined as an etch length. Controlling sizes of the etch angle and the etch length can reduce an insertion loss in signal transmission.
