  • Patent number: 9717595
Abstract: Heart valve delivery systems and methods of delivering and implanting heart valves using delivery catheters are disclosed. The delivery systems can include a handle assembly which can include a first control mechanism, a second control mechanism, and a decoupling mechanism. The delivery systems can also include a delivery catheter extending from the handle assembly. The delivery catheter can include an outer shaft, which can be controlled by the first control mechanism; a prosthesis containing capsule comprising a proximal capsule portion connected to the outer shaft, and a distal capsule portion releasably coupled to the proximal capsule portion. After deploying a valve prosthesis, the capsule can be closed by activating the decoupling mechanism in the handle to rapidly close the distal and proximal capsule portions together. The delivery system can also include a centering element to guide the distal and proximal capsule portions together.

  • Patent number: 9657531
Abstract: An improved drilling riser assembly including a male drilling riser assembly section and a female drilling riser assembly section that form a connection joint when mated. The drilling riser assembly sections having an internal stab type main drilling riser connector. The drilling riser assembly sections each have main drilling riser flanges that have helically threaded rings on an outer edge of the flange. A box and pin connector each have an inner helically threaded ring that mates with the outer helical flange ring of a drilling riser assembly section. The box and pin connectors extend towards each other and make up an enclosed compression joined mating section around the stab type connectors of the drilling riser assembly.

  • Patent number: 9580290
Abstract: A walled dispenser base for use with a removable bottle collar for delivering a liquid from a supply bottle has a hollow interior. A rim is formed at a top portion of the walled dispenser base. A foot is formed at a bottom portion of the walled dispenser base. A side opening is formed in a sidewall of the walled dispenser base. The side opening enables a valve coupled to a mouth of the supply bottle inverted and positioned within the removable collar to pass from an interior of the walled dispenser base to a location outside the walled dispenser base.

  • Publication number: 20170051572
Abstract: In one illustrative embodiment, the ball inserter device comprises, among other things, a body having a ball insertion opening and a ball drop opening, wherein the ball drop opening intersects the ball insertion opening, a ball inserter piston that is attached to the body and an inserter cavity isolation valve coupled to the body wherein the valve element, when closed, blocks the ball insertion opening and partially defines an insertion cavity between the inserter cavity isolation valve and the ball inserter piston and a pressure relief valve coupled to the body that is in fluid communication with the insertion cavity. In this example, the device also comprises a ball input device coupled to the body that includes a plug, a removable cap and an opening that is axially aligned with the ball drop opening.
