    Abstract: An electronic device includes a display and a sensor underneath the display. The display has a full pixel density region and a reduced pixel density region. Compared to pixels in the full pixel density region, pixels in the reduced pixel density region can be controlled using overdriven power supply voltages, overdriven scan control signals, different initialization and reset voltages, and can include capacitors and transistors with different physical and electrical characteristics. Gate drivers provide scan signals to pixels in the full pixel density region, whereas overdrive buffers provide overdrive scan signals to pixels in the reduced pixel density region. The pixels in the full pixel density region and the pixels in the reduced pixel density region can be controlled using different black level or gamma settings for each color channel and can be adjusted physically to match luminance, color, as well as to mitigate differences in temperature and aging impact.

The assembly board is connected to one side of the connecting bracket, and can be adjusted to different positions of the connecting bracket. Therefore, the horizontal carrier can be adjusted to different heights corresponding with the photography opening of the transferring board.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a transfer method of thin wafer. For thin wafers with different thicknesses, in different transfer stages, a Bernoulli manipulator uses different gas flow rates, so that the problem of chipping of wafers during transfer is solved. Specifically, in a process of moving a wafer out of a wafer cassette, a Bernoulli manipulator uses a small gas flow rate, so as to reduce the suction force on the wafer and weaken warping deformation of the wafer, thereby reducing the risk of cracking or chipping in the process of moving the wafer out of the wafer cassette; after the wafer is moved out of the wafer cassette and in a process of transferring same to a processing chamber, the Bernoulli manipulator uses a large gas flow rate, so as to increase the suction force on the wafer, thereby ensuring the wafer can be stably suctioned on the Bernoulli manipulator during transfer, and avoiding wafer slipping.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method for forming a fin field effect transistor (FinFET) incorporating a fin top hardmask on top of a channel region of a fin. Because of the presence of the fin top hardmask, a gate height of the FinFET can be reduced without affecting proper operations of vertical gate channels on sidewalls of the fin. Consequently, parasitic capacitance between a gate stack and source/drain contacts of the FinFET can be reduced by lowering the gate height of the FinFET.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that combine physics-based systems with machine learning to generate synthetic LiDAR data that accurately mimics a real-world LiDAR sensor system. In particular, aspects of the present disclosure combine physics-based rendering with machine-learned models such as deep neural networks to simulate both the geometry and intensity of the LiDAR sensor. As one example, a physics-based ray casting approach can be used on a three-dimensional map of an environment to generate an initial three-dimensional point cloud that mimics LiDAR data. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a machine-learned model can predict one or more dropout probabilities for one or more of the points in the initial three-dimensional point cloud, thereby generating an adjusted three-dimensional point cloud which more realistically simulates real-world LiDAR data.

    Abstract: A method of synchronization in a training state of Universal Serial Bus (USB) includes sending SLOS1 ordered sets by a transmitter in a LOCK1 state, receiving the SLOS1 ordered sets by a receiver in the LOCK1 state, stopping the transmitter from sending training ordered sets according to a lane adapter state machine (LASM) if the transmitter sends the training ordered sets in the LOCK1 state continuously in an infinite loop. The method further includes sending new SLOS1 ordered sets by the transmitter, receiving the new SLOS1 ordered sets by a receiver, and the transmitter and the receiver entering a LOCK2 state.
