  • Patent number: 7158316
Abstract: A suspension apparatus comprises a lens holder, a suspension spring and a supporting base. The supporting base is formed with an opening for accommodating the lens holder. The lens holder is for positioning a lens unit. The suspension spring is manufactured by stamping process to form a long strip with a plurality of suspension springs. The strip is then guided into a mold, and plastic injection molding process is performed in that mold so as to produce the lens holder and supporting base affixed respectively to either end of the suspension spring in one piece. After that, excess material of the strip is cut off. The suspension apparatus as above described is suitable for mass production. In addition, because of the high precision of mold, the inaccuracy of assembly and fabrication is minimized. The volume of the whole apparatus and the cost of production are also vastly decreased.

  • Publication number: 20060273441
Abstract: Disclosed is an assembly structure of chip scale package, which can effectively avoid various yield and quality problems resulted from the poor control of epoxy during the process of chip scale package. A buffer zone whose planar size is smaller than that of the chip is disposed on the substrate, and the chip is then affixed to the buffer zone utilizing epoxy. Since the planar size of the buffer zone is smaller than that of the chip, the contamination of golden fingers and bonding pads due to the poor control of epoxy can be avoided, and furthermore the yield problems resulted from failed wire bonding and poor soldering are avoided. The assembly structure can be further applied to vertical stacking of multiple chips. A packaging method for the chip scale package is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20060189516
Abstract: This invention is concerned with a new method for producing cross-linked hyaluronic acid—protein bio-composites in various shapes. In the present process, a polysaccharide solution and a protein solution are mixed under moderate pH values in presence of salts to form a homogenous solution, which can be processed into various shapes, such as membrane, sponge, fiber, tube or micro-granular and so on. After then, the homogenous solution is subjected to a cross-linking reaction in organic solvent containing weak acid to produce an implantable bio composite material having excellent bio-compatibility, biodegradability, prolonged enzymatic degradation time, and good physical properties.

  • Publication number: 20060137983
Abstract: Transfer of fluid substances, and/or substances comprised in fluid substances, is controlled by introducing a separation medium, which prevents transfer of the fluid substances, and/or the substances comprised in the fluid substances, to an intermediate cavity connecting a first cavity and a second cavity; and introducing a connection medium to replace the separation medium and thereby start substance transfer to the second cavity. Substance transfer may be readily controlled without relying on mechanical means. Based on the present invention, two-dimensional electrophoretic analysis can be readily implemented on a chip.

  • Publication number: 20060140000
Abstract: A method of reducing gate disturb in a charge-trapping layer memory cell by applying different Vpass voltages to different sides of a selected wordline. A higher Vpass voltage is used to pass higher source/drain voltage and a lower Vpass voltage is used to pass a lower source/drain voltage. By controlling the Vpass voltages on different sides of a selected wordline, it is possible to reduce a vertical field that is established in a gate region when the Vpass voltages are applied. A reduced vertical field results in suppressed gate disturb. The method also includes a novel bit-line biasing scheme that may further reduce the vertical field and thereby may further suppress gate disturb, particularly in an array of memory cells.

  • Publication number: 20060113189
Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to provide electrophoretic separation methods and devices that enable the various features of a substrate surface that comes in contact with an electrophoresis medium to be controlled. The present invention provides methods for electrophoresing substances, which comprises the steps of: (a) adding a substance to be analyzed to an electrophoresis medium retained in a substrate, whose surface that has come in contact with the electrophoresis medium has been coated with a polymer membrane; and (b) adding electrophoretic pressure to the electrophoresis medium. For example, the use of a plasma-polymerized membrane allows the formation of a membrane with homogeneous quality and thickness on the surface of an arbitrary shape. In addition, desired characteristics can be conferred on the surface through selection of monomeric substances. Protein adsorption onto micro-chips can be effectively prevented as well.

  • Publication number: 20060109717
Abstract: Programming nonvolatile memory cells is affected by the program disturb effect which causes data accuracy issues with nonvolatile memory. • Patent number: 7033883
Abstract: A method for placing decoupling capacitors in an integrated circuit during placement and routing stage. In the placement method, a floor plan of the integrated circuit is created, and includes the relative locations of a plurality of functional units. A power mesh comprising a plurality power lines is then overlaid on the floor plan, and the floor plan is divided into a plurality of windows. A plurality of semiconductor cells are placed into a portion of the windows. It is then determined whether a residual area comprising two adjacent windows without functional units and semiconductor cells disposed therein and at least three parallel power lines running theretrough exists. A MOS capacitor is then placed in the detected residual area, serving as a decoupling capacitor.
