  • Patent number: 7722730
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and device for heat-sealing windows into folding carton blanks for producing liquid-proof folding cartons having film windows. Pieces of film that are cut to measure are placed on the window openings of the folding carton blanks and the edges of the pieces of film are heat-sealed with the folding carton blanks so as to be liquid-proof using heated pressure segments or heat-sealing dies. The folding carton blanks, together with the pieces of film, are fed to a tail pulley for a transport belt by means of the transport belt and are inserted in the gap between the tail pulley and the transport belt resting thereon. In this gap, the blanks and pieces of film are continuously heat-sealed together by means of at least two heated pressure segments that are disposed on the outer periphery of the tail pulley and push radially from inwards against the transport belt in the area of deflection of the transport belt and thus onto the edges of the pieces of film.

Abstract: In a laminating apparatus for a ceramic green sheet according to the present invention, cutting means and laminating means are positioned on a conveying path of a carrier film conveyed by conveying means. Specifically, cutting of the ceramic green sheet and lamination of sheet pieces are carried out on a single conveying path. Consequently, the reduction of production efficiency is prevented significantly. Furthermore, the position of the cutting means and the position of the laminating means are different. Therefore, even when cut scraps are generated when the ceramic green sheet is cut by the cutting means, the cut scraps are significantly prevented from entering between layers in a green sheet laminated body.

  • Patent number: 7153378
Abstract: A product labeling apparatus has a plurality of labelers, an imager for imaging products; and a processor responsive to an output of the imager and operatively connected to a control input of each of the labelers. The processor processes an image received from the imager to identify a portion of a product which portion will pass a target area of a given labeller. The processor then tracks progress of that portion of the product and controls an appropriate one of the labelers to label the portion of the product when that portion of the product is at the target area of the given labeler.

  • Patent number: 7101331
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for manufacturing a folder which has front and back panels with a divider there between. The divider front and back panels and divider are taped together along a spine of the folder such that the panels and divider can be turned like the pages of a book. There may be one, two, or three or possibly even more dividers with all of the dividers being secured in place at the spine of the folder. The tape(s) may be pleated so that the panel-to-divider and/or divider-to-divider compartments can expand. This pleating technique can also be employed to give expansibility to the single compartment of a file folder which does have internal dividers.

  • Patent number: 7073554
Abstract: An integration device for a compact disk has a reversing element and an elevator. The reversing element has a first engine, an arm and a first seat, whereby the arm is rotated reversely in turn. The elevator has a second seat, a base, a second suction disk and a second engine. A shaft mounted in a center of the second suction disk and inserted into the hole, whereby the second suction disk is driven to rotate or lift. Hence, the first base is raised exactly facing the second base so that the first base can be directly adjacent to the second base face to face thereby avoiding generating bubbles to enable glue to distribute evenly and result in the compact disk with an even thickness.

  • Patent number: 7013944
Abstract: A compact disk (DVD) manufacturing machine is used to laminate first and second DVD substrates to produce a DVD, and mainly includes a glue applicator for applying a glue ring on a laminating surface of each DVD substrate; a DVD laminator for turning the first DVD substrate to the second one at predetermined speeds, allowing the glue rings to contact with each other before the two DVD substrates are slowly laminated; and a rotating element below a fixed sucker of the DVD laminator for rotating the laminated DVD substrates and ensuring even spread of the glue between the two substrates without producing blisters. Since the gluing and the laminating are synchronously performed at two different positions on a turntable of the machine, an increased productivity may be obtained.

  • Patent number: 7013943
Abstract: A first parting film is held on a first flat laminating table in close contact with the first flat laminating table, and then wide prepregs are laid for plane lamination on the first parting film to form a large prepreg-laminate having a large area. A second parting film is held on a second flat laminating table in close contact with the second flat laminating table by suction, and then narrow prepregs to form a gridlike prepreg-laminate. The large prepreg-laminate is floated up by jetting air from the first flat laminating table is cut on a cutting table to obtain a prepreg-laminate skin. The gridlike prepreg-laminate is processed similarly to obtain a prepreg-laminate doubler. The prepreg-laminate skin and the prepreg-laminate doubler are carried from the cutting table to a laminating mold having a single-contour laminating surface so as to be superposed and are laminated to form a composite panel.
