Abstract: An apparatus on a textile machine for cleaning fibre has a high-speed first roller conveying a fibre web, and second and third rollers. Second roller is arranged downstream of third roller and so co-operates with first roller, that fibre is detached, the fibre is transferred to nip, with third roller and is conveyed by third roller to nip with first roller where it is transferred back to the first roller. A separating knife is arranged downstream of the second roller. In order to improve the degree of cleaning between separating knife and the nip of first roller with second roller there is a separation opening of width about from 40 to 60 mm.

Abstract: The present invention provides a novel carding machine for preparing a continuous non-woven fibrous web. This machine is comprised of a succession of carding cylinders including a first carding cylinder and subsequently a final carding cylinder; said cylinders are in communication with one or more carding rolls—doffers and/or randomizing rolls arranged in juxtaposition and rotate wherein their axes horizontal; at least one feeding inlet unit in communication with said first carding cylinder; and at least one product outlet in communication with said last carding cylinder, wherein one or more product outlets commenced form said carding succession, previous to said final carding cylinder, The present invention also provides for a cost effective method for maintaining fiber density on the carding cylinder while increasing production rate of the machine through the discharge of a certain amount of fully opened fibers from the cylinder.
Abstract: Machine supports are provided for a spinning preparation machine. A machine casing is arranged along the sides of the machine and includes casing elements attached to the supports. Abstract: In a device on a carding machine for setting the working gap between the cylinder and a neighboring roller, which cooperate with one another with a working gap between their cylindrical surfaces at the fiber transfer points, the working gap is readjustable as a result of changes in dimensions caused by thermal expansion and/or centrifugal forces. If the dimensions of the rollers change, it is readily possible to set substantially the same gap between neighboring rollers. The temperature of the framework walls carrying the cylinder can be matched to the working gap by supplying or discharging heat. If the dimensions of the rollers change, the working gap substantially the same.
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a polyurethane foam injected with strand mats and a device for increasing the volume of the strand mats. The method comprises the steps of: increasing the volume of each of the strand mats to weaken the cohesion between glass fibers in each of the strand mats; continuously supplying and transferring the volume-increased strand mats; spraying a polyurethane foam solution on the continuously transferred strand mats; and foam molding the polyurethane foam solution in which the strand mats are immersed, into a polyurethane foam. Because the cohesion between the glass fibers in the strand mat is weakened and the volume of the strand mat is increased, the polyurethane foam solution uniformly permeates into the strand mats. As a result, the productivity of the polyurethane foam is improved and the variations in a variety of the mechanical properties are minimized.
