Abstract: A zipper arrangement is configured to fasten a first fabric portion to a second fabric portion. The zipper arrangement includes a plurality of first zipper elements positioned along the first fabric portion and a plurality of second zipper elements positioned along the second fabric portion. A zipper closure includes a first closure member releasably coupled to a second closure member. The first closure member is positioned on a mid-portion of the first fabric portion and the second closure member is positioned on a mid-portion of the second fabric portion. A first slider is positioned on one side of the zipper closure and a second slider positioned on an opposite side of the zipper closure. When provided on a garment, the zipper arrangement may be used in association with a method for fastening a first garment portion to a second garment portion by moving the sliders in opposing directions.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding game-calling devices includes a strap having a first end and a second end. The apparatus is further comprised of a first fastener attached to the strap at the first end and configured to attach to a garment. The apparatus is further comprised of a second fastener attached to the strap at the second end and configured to attach to the garment. The apparatus also includes a plurality of clips attached to the straps between the first and second ends.

Abstract: Improved medical garments are disclosed which are fabricated from woven or warp knit fabrics impregnated with an anti-microbial agent, such as silver in the form of a silver chloride solution during processing, and a hydrophobic agent, such as a fluorocarbon polymer and optional cross-linking agent. The garments are provided in various forms of medical lab coats for doctors and non-doctors and for both males and females. The combination of the anti-microbial agent and the hydrophobic agent provides improved kill rates for bacteria such as MRSA.

Abstract: This disclosure generally relates to an apparel article, such as an article of clothing, that includes a pre-worn piece as a design element integral with the article of clothing. The pre-worn piece may be, for example, a cut-out of an athletic jersey, a uniform, a shirt or the like, formed in a particular design pattern, that was worn by a member of a sports team such as a professional sports team. In another aspect, the disclosure relates to a method for marketing an article or articles in a line of apparel, such as sporting goods apparel, with such pre-worn pieces affixed to the articles as integral design elements.

The structures can be made to change their gas, liquid and/or particulate permeability in response to surrounding environmental conditions. Applications include protective apparel that is comfortable to wear wherein the level of protection provided is based on conditions in the environment. Hence, the protective apparel is highly breathable and comfortable in a non-hazardous environment but impermeable or only semipermeable in a hazardous environment.

A data storage device at least temporarily stores movement information measured by the sensors. The data glove is configured to exchange a common timestamp with a remote device via a communication port for use in association with a synchronous time element configured to impart the timestamp in real-time to the movement information measured by the one or more sensors and stored by the data storage device to synchronize the movement information with other devices operating simultaneously.

Abstract: The present invention is a safety harness that is designed for persons who work at elevations 6 feet and above. It incorporates two panels of continuously knitted vertical and horizontal intersecting straps that are sewn together at the front and back to make a one piece half body suit with a zipper placed in the front for easy wear. The primary use will be with a fall arrest system that will connect to a t-shaped loop sewn to the back of the suit. This design gives not only support to the wearer while suspended but protects the femoral artery in case of extended hanging time after a fall by keeping the body in a horizontal position. Fall arrest forces are also distributed over the body, mainly the torso, which leads to better comfort and performance.

Abstract: Outerwear in the form of a wearable personal device can be customized to accept auxiliary gear using a quick attach/detach system that provides for minimal alteration to the aesthetics of the auxiliary gear and the wearable personal device. The system of the present invention can be offered in varied sizes and shapes to accommodate not only dimensional requests, but capacity of auxiliary equipment. In one embodiment, the system of the present invention can be employed with a webbing system previously attached to the wearable personal device. The present invention can include a replaceable female buckle designed to mate with to corresponding male buckles placed on any of a variety of auxiliary equipment items, thereby facilitating quick and simple attachment and detachment of the auxiliary equipment.

Abstract: A ventilated garment includes a shell layer worn by the user and an auxiliary layer attached to a portion of shell to define a ventilated portion of the garment. An exterior opening formed in the outermost layer of the garment includes a fastener controlling the open or closed state of the exterior opening. A drain opening is also formed in the outermost layer separate form the exterior opening adjacent the bottom of the ventilated portion. Ventilating openings are formed in the waterproof innermost layer. A mesh layer spans the ventilating portion between the ventilating openings and the exterior opening to trap snow/rain and drain the precipitation through the drain opening therebelow to the exterior of the garment. The mesh layer blocks passage of precipitation therethrough while allowing a ventilating flow of air therethrough.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an improved garment for capturing bodily fluids. In particular, embodiments of the present invention provide a garment including a main garment body configured to be worn by a wearer and a capturing panel having a receiving surface configured to receive bodily fluids excreted from the wearer attached to the main garment body such that the capturing panel covers at least a first portion of said main garment body. The capturing panel is made out of a natural material, has a thickness no greater than approximately 4 mm, and is configured to transfer bodily fluid received from the wearer away from the receiving surface. A fluid resistant treatment may be applied to at least a second portion of the main garment body, which second portion may be identical to the first portion. A odor-neutralizing treatment may be applied at least a portion of the capturing panel.

The top is disposed above the first side of the bottom and is recessed below the peripheral first duct and the peripheral second duct. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a torso-covering garment having a laterally accessible interior pocket in the side-torso area under the arm for storing personal items, such as mobile phone or a wallet. Stitching may be applied in an inverted “V” shape across the lower boundary of the storage area to create two downwardly-narrowing areas near the bottom of the pocket. Interior flaps which are open on the bottom edge may be included to help capture and retain the items in the pocket.

The woven fabric is characterized in that at least one side thereof has been calendered and the monofilaments in at least part of the synthetic multifilament yarns have been thereby compressed in a stacked state. The woven fabric is further characterized in that the monofilaments are fibers having an unusual cross-section, the degree of unusualness of the cross section as determined before calendering being 2.0-6.0, that the synthetic multifilament yarns have a fineness of 7-44 dtex, and that the woven fabric has a cover factor of 1,300-2,200.

The garment is formed of at least a durable outer layer material and a reduced-friction inner layer material and includes an exterior pocket for receiving a palliative element such as a thermal transfer element or a cushioning element. Preferably, the pocket area of the garment includes a waterproof layer, which may be the inner layer material or a separate layer.

Abstract: A thermal energy dissipating garment may include a first garment portion having a perimeter defined by at least a first side and a second garment portion having a perimeter defined by at least a vent side. The first garment portion and the second garment portion are discontinuously affixed to each other at defined intervals along a surface of each portion proximate to the first side and the vent side creating a vent seam having a plurality of ducts/scalloped vents for directing air towards a body of a wearer. The plurality of scalloped vents are oriented with an angle of attack that redirects air from the exterior of the garment to the interior of the garment to increase air movement along a wearer's skin.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a novelty garment, formed as a clothing article, which can broadcast a sound recording. The clothing article may be a t-shirt, tank top, or related garment having an outside and an inside. An annular sleeve is attached to the inside of the clothing article and encases a circuit board having a processor, a memory device, a power source, and a speaker. Placed around the circuit board is a waterproof bladder having a sufficient size and dimension to fit within the annular sleeve. The processor is capable of receiving signals from one or more pressure sensors, an RFID Tag or a WIFI receiver to upload a sound recording stored within the memory device for performance by the speaker.

Abstract: An article of clothing adapted to be worn by a person has an odor absorbing substance incorporated therein. The odor absorbing substance absorbs odors emitting from that portion of the person which is substantially surrounded by the clothing. Reduction of odors emitting from a person wearing the article of clothing will help to avoid detection of the wearer of the article of clothing by many species of wildlife having an acute sense of smell.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a pressure sensitive label for use in a cold transfer process that can be used for garment identification and labeling. The pressure sensitive label can be applied on textile surface or any other surfaces for which heat transfer is unfavorable or unavailable. The pressure sensitive label can remain on the substrate to which it is attached through repeated washing and drying cycles.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an evaporative cooling clothing system for reducing body temperature of a wearer of the clothing system. The clothing system includes a clothing article configured using a wicking fabric and a hollow transport defining a cavity for transporting a liquid from a liquid reservoir to an upper region of the clothing article. The hollow transport has an intake section and a dispensing section. The intake section is attached to the liquid reservoir for receiving the liquid, and the dispensing section is attached to the upper region of the clothing article. The upper region of the clothing article receives the liquid from the dispensing section and transfers the liquid to a lower region of the clothing article. The lower region of the clothing article exposes the liquid to an environment surrounding the clothing article for evaporation.

Abstract: Included are multiple component elastic fibers prepared by a solution-spinning process such as dry spinning or wet spinner of spandex fibers including polyurethaneurea and polyurethane compositions. These fibers have a cross-section including at least two separate regions with definable boundaries wherein at least one region defined by the boundaries of the cross-section includes a polyurethaneurea or polyurethane composition. One region of the fiber includes a fusibility improvement additive to enhance adhesion to itself or to a substrate.

Fastener elements are attached to or formed in each of the right and left portions of the garment. One of the two portions includes a two layer placket. Some of the fastener elements include a portion on the outer layer of the two layer placket. At least one interstitial fastener element is positioned only on the inner layer and is between two other fastener elements that include a portion on the outer layer. The at least one interstitial fastener element may be positioned at a wearer's chest or waist region to minimize or eliminate gapping of the shirt in areas of larger girth.

Abstract: Global Positioning System (GPS) optimizing garments and methods for performing athletic training using a GPS signal optimizing garment are described. The garment may have a three-dimensional pocket positioned to promote a GPS receiver obtaining an optimal GPS signal. The pocket may also be positioned on the garment to prevent interference with the movement of the wearer of the garment. The garment may also include heart rate monitor tabs for retaining a heart rate monitor device.
