Abstract: A method and machine are disclosed for manufacturing a seed-containing material for a food or beverage container or sleeve. The method is automated by a machine which has a conveyor and one or more work stations. During the process, seeds and a securing material, such as an adhesive, are added to the sheet material and the materials are optionally laminated. The method uses a sheet material that may be pre-printed and pre-cut with a blank of a container. The container may be any type of food and beverage container such as a cup, plate, container sleeve, clam shell, or tray. The sheet material is then conveyed for further processing including removal of the blanks from the sheet material and formation into the final product. After its intended end-use, the final product may be planted in a yard, garden, or flower pot to yield flowers or trees depending on the seeds imbedded inside.

Abstract: An environmental protection and sanitary straw cap is revealed. The straw cap is a hollow tube in which one end is a close end and the other end is an open end. A straw is inserted into the straw cap through the open end. A cut is arranged at a wall of the straw cap and part of the wall of the straw cap opposite to the cut is a connection section. The width of the connection section is smaller than a diameter of the straw cap. Thereby the straw covered with the straw cap achieves sanitation. Moreover, the straw cap is environmental protective due to the reduction of material used in production of the straw cap that covers only one end of the straw and its reuses. Furthermore, the straw cap can be applied to both straight straws and bendable straws. The applicability of the straw cap is enhanced.

Abstract: A flexible container incorporating flexible front and rear sheets and one or more container ports disposed in between the sheets are discussed. The one or more container ports each has a pliable attachment flange and an integrally molded nozzle. The pliable attachment flange has a first configuration whereby the attachment flange collapses to enable heat sealing the attachment flange to the sheets and thereafter substantially recovers its shape to provide a fluid pathway with the port. Various terminal ports, terminal caps, and rubber septums may be useable with the one or more container ports.

Abstract: A product container is configured with an integrally-formed means for facilitating the leveling of a product in a spoon or other measuring utensil as the spoon or measuring utensil is removed from the container. The product container permits the leveling means to be incorporated into a sidewall of the container or within the opening of the container. The product container provides the configuration of this type of structure while also allowing for unimpeded use of a sealing cover for use with the container to protect the container contents and to prevent inadvertent spillage of the container contents.
