Abstract: A method for production of masts with extruded bodies includes joining at least three mast elements at corners of the mast by cooperating rail sections and channel sections. The channel sections are provided with tapered inner wall sections. The mast elements are joined by inserting the rail section of one mast element into a channel section of an adjacent mast element and clamping the rail section in the channel section. The clamping is accomplished moving a roller in a longitudinal direction on the external sides of the channel section and causing permanent deformation of the walls of the channel section around the rail section to establish a permanently joined corner.

An insertion hole 12 is formed in at least one wall portion 11 of a pair of opposed wall portions 11 and 11 of a first hollow member 10. A sleeve 30 for preventing biting of a peripheral edge portion 12a of the insertion hole 12 into the outer peripheral surface of a second hollow member 20 is fixed to the first hollow member 10 with the sleeve 30 inserted in the insertion hole 12. A peripheral wall portion 22 of the second hollow member 20 inserted in the sleeve 30 is expanded with the second hollow member 20 inserted in the sleeve 30, so that the peripheral wall portion 22 of the inserted portion of the second hollow member 20 is pressed against and fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve 30.

Abstract: A drip emitter, and methods of assembly and mounting, are provided for delivering irrigation water from a supply tube to an emitter outlet at a reduced and relatively constant flow rate. Water enters the emitter through a first inlet and proceeds into a first chamber. When the water pressure is above a predetermined level, a one-directional valve opens to allow fluid flow past the first chamber, through a pressure-reducing flow channel, and through an emitter outlet. A second inlet is used to compensate for water pressure differences in the supply tube to maintain output flow at a relatively constant rate. Water enters the second inlet and presses a flexible diaphragm toward a water metering surface to provide pressure-dependent control of the output flow. Copper is located near the emitter outlet to prevent plant root intrusion.

The sensor may be permanently affixed to the panel by bending the posts at a rear surface of the panel without the use of a tool, such that the panel is captured between the mounting plate and the deformed posts. The sensor further comprises multiple test buttons provided on an outwardly-facing surface of the sensor for separately testing the communications of the load control system and the operation of the sensor. Alternatively, the releasable mounting means may comprise one or more magnets for magnetically coupling the sensor to a grid structure of the ceiling.
