    Abstract: A photovoltaic (PV) panel and rack grounding connector may be constructed of a one piece extruded aluminum body. The body may have two extruded openings configured to accept a ground wire at one end and a PV panel or rack flange at the other. Both openings may have extruded serrations to pierce oxidation on the wire end and anodized plating on the PV panel or rack end. Stainless steel or other screws are provided on each end of the connector for securing the wire and panel, respectively, to the connector and to prevent corrosion. The connector may be asymmetric in that the opening on one end for the ground wire is a different shape than the opening on the opposite end for the PV panel.

    Abstract: A two-piece mezzanine connector for high speed, high density signals. The connector is assembled from wafers that may be formed of identical wafer halves. The halves may have interior portions that form a channel in which a lossy member may be captured for selectively configuring the connector for high frequency performance. The lossy member may be serpentine, to both provide different spacing relative to signal and ground conductors and to provide compliance to press against ground conductors when captured between wafer halves. Instead of, or in addition to, the lossy member captured between two wafer halves, the wafer halves may each have lossy material overmolded on at least one side, so that an assembled wafer may have lossy material disposed on the outside.     Abstract: In assembly of probe arrays for electrical test, a problem can arise where a bonding agent undesirably wicks between probes. According to embodiments of the invention, this wicking problem is alleviated by disposing an anti-wicking agent on a surface of the probe assembly such that wicking of the bonding agent along the probes toward the probe tips is hindered. The anti-wicking agent can be a solid powder, a liquid, or a gel. Once probe assembly fabrication is complete, the anti-wicking agent is removed. In preferred embodiments, a template plate is employed to hold the probe tips in proper position during fabrication. In this manner, undesirable bending of probes caused by introduction or removal of the anti-wicking agent can be reduced or eliminated.

The stabilizing assembly grips a jacket of the coaxial cable, stabilizing the interconnection. Methods of manufacture and interconnection are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A contact assembly, which may be included in a connector assembly for a connector module of a medical device, includes one or more resilient contact members; each contact member may comprise a coiled wire having a first stiffness and a second stiffness. The assembly may further include a plug member associated with each contact member. Each contact member may be mounted in the assembly via insertion into a corresponding channel of a mounting member, such that a first terminal end of the contact member abuts a terminal surface of the channel. If included, the plug member makes electrical contact with a second terminal end of the inserted contact member, and is coupled to the mounting member. A contact surface of the mounted contact member is exposed within a connector bore of the mounting member, through an opening in the channel.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for providing crosstalk compensation in a jack are disclosed. According to one method, the crosstalk compensation is adapted to compensate for undesired crosstalk generated at a capacitive coupling located at a plug inserted within the jack. The method includes positioning a first capacitive coupling a first time delay away from the capacitive coupling of the plug, the first capacitive coupling having a greater magnitude and an opposite polarity as compared to the capacitive coupling of the plug. The method also includes positioning a second capacitive coupling at a second time delay from the first capacitive coupling, the second time delay corresponding to an average time delay that optimizes near end crosstalk. The second capacitive coupling has generally the same overall magnitude but an opposite polarity as compared to the first capacitive coupling, and includes two capacitive elements spaced at different time delays from the first capacitive coupling.
