Further, to reduce the impact of dropped packets for the bulk-transfer traffic, the packets of the bulk-transfer traffic are encoded at or near the source component using a loss-resistant transport protocol so that the dropped packets can be reproduced at a downstream link.

A communication method of a base station, the method comprising: establishing at least one bearer with a terminal; receiving a downlink packet being transmitted to the terminal; determining a bearer mapped to quality of service (QoS) information of the downlink packet; and transmitting, to the terminal, the downlink packet through the determined bearer.
