  • Patent number: 10685414
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to generating an automated police report after an accident. For example, a police officer may scan in an insurance card barcode, a VIN barcode, a driver's license number, etc., to populate fields of the automated police report. The automated police report may also include telematics data from an associated vehicle to determine an impact of a collision, a time and location of the collision, etc. A scene of the accident may also be reconstructed using satellite images and/or video taken at the time of the accident. For example, the scene may be reconstructed based on image sensors on the vehicle, weather data at the time of the collision, data communicated vehicle-to-vehicle from another vehicle, telematics data, etc. Images of the reconstructed scene and/or images of the actual scene from the satellite video may be included in the automated police report.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for liveness detection are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of providing, for display on a screen to a user, a graphical item that travels along a path. The actions further include tracking a movement of an eye of the user while the graphical item travels along the path on the screen. The actions further include comparing the movement of the eye of the user to the path traveled by the graphical item. The actions further include generating an eye correlation score that reflects a correlation between the movement of the eye of the user and the path traveled by the graphical item. The actions further include determining whether the eye correlation score satisfies an eye liveness threshold score. The actions further include determining whether the user is a live person.

  • Patent number: 10679330
Abstract: The present disclosure addresses the technical problem of enabling automated inferencing of changes in spatio-temporal images by leveraging the high level robust features extracted from a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) trained on varied contexts instead of data dependent feature methods. Unsupervised clustering on the high level features eliminates the cumbersome requirement of labeling the images. Since models are not trained on any specific context, any image may be accepted. Real time inferencing is enabled by a certain combination of unsupervised clustering and supervised classification. A cloud-edge topology ensures real time inferencing even when connectivity is not available by ensuring updated classification models are deployed on the edge. Creating a knowledge ontology based on adaptive learning enables inferencing of an incoming image with varying levels of precision. Precision farming may be an application of the present disclosure.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are real-time video classifier systems, methods, devices, and machine readable mediums that determine whether or not to submit a current video frame to a classifier based upon a similarity score that measures a similarity between the current video frame and previous video frames found by the classifier to contain the feature of interest. For example, a similarity score may be calculated for a current video frame and a previous video frame found by the classifier to contain a feature of interest. The current video frame may be submitted to the classifier only if the similarity score is below a threshold similarity score. That is, only video frames that are sufficiently different from previous images that were found as containing the feature of interest are presented to the classifier.

Abstract: A method and system where a first subsystem makes observations and performs surveillance using sensors in a mode that conserves a resource such as power, data transmission band width or processing cycles. This is accomplished by reducing illumination, pixel count, sampling rate or other functions that result in a limited granularity or data collection rate. A machine model is applied to the limited data and, when it evaluates to a suitable result or a prediction of an interesting condition, another subsystem or the same subsystem in a different mode collects data at a finer granularity with a higher data collection size or rate and evaluates that data to determine the nature of the first evaluation.
