Abstract: Filled phase-separated blends of polyaryl ether ketones, polyaryl ketones, polyether ketones, polyether ether ketones and mixtures thereof with at least one polysulfone etherimide, wherein the polysulfone etherimide has greater than or equal to 50 mole % of the polymer linkages contain at least one aryl sulfone group are described. Abstract: A high-viscosity polyamide composition including a branched polyamide is described. Further described, are three reactive functions of two different types and bifunctional monomers used in the manufacture of linear polyamides. A resulting copolyamide can have a very low melt flow index relative to the linear polyamide and improved impact resistance properties. Lastly, use of such a composition for extrusion blow-molding articles is described.

Abstract: A modified polymer as result of a bulk functionalization of polyamide 46 (PA 46) is presented, as well as methods for synthesizing the modified polymer. The enriched synthetic beads carrying the mineral particles are separated from the unwanted materials in the mixture. The mineral particles are then released from the synthetic beads by means of low pH treatment, ultrasonic agitation, thermal or electromagnetic treatment.

Abstract: Disclosed are water-soluble nanoparticles. The water-soluble nanoparticles are each surrounded by a multifunctional group ligand including an adhesive region, a cross linking region, and a reactive region. In the water-soluble nanoparticles, the cross-linking region of the multifunctional group ligand is cross-linked with another cross-linking region of a neighboring multifunctional group ligand.
