Abstract: The present invention relates to thermosetting resin compositions which are suitably used for manufacturing circuit boards, such as flexible printed circuit boards (FPCs) and build-up circuit boards, and to multilayer bodies and circuit boards manufactured using such thermosetting resin compositions. A thermosetting resin composition contains a polyimide resin component (A), a phenol resin component (B), and an epoxy resin component (C). The mixing ratio by weight (A)/[(B)+(C)] is in a range of 0.4 to 2.0, the mixing ratio by weight being the ratio of the weight of the component (A) to the total weight of the component (B) and the component (C). By using such a thermosetting resin composition, it is possible to manufacture multilayer bodies and circuit boards which are excellent in dielectric characteristics, adhesiveness, processability, heat resistance, flowability, etc. A thermosetting resin composition contains a polyimide resin (A), a phosphazene compound (D), and a cyanate ester compound (E).

Abstract: The invention relates to crosslinkable, thermoplastic polyamide molding compounds. Abstract: The present invention relates to novel compositions of therapeutic cyclodextrin containing polymeric compounds designed as a carrier for small molecule therapeutics delivery and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. Abstract: Composite materials that contain thermoplastic-toughened cyanate ester resins as the resin matrix. The composite materials exhibit low levels of heat release when burned. The matrix resins are composed of from 50 to 80 weight percent of a cyanate ester resin component. The matrix resin composition also includes from 10 to 40 weight percent of a thermoplastic blend that is composed of polyetherimide and polyamideimide. The epoxy resin composition further includes from 1 to 10 weight percent of a curative agent. The composite materials may be used for primary structures in aircraft and other load-bearing structures.
Abstract: Thermoplastic compositions having miscible and compatible immiscible polymer blends are disclosed. The miscible polymer blends have a single glass transition temperature. The compatible polymer blends have two glass transition temperatures.

Abstract: The present invention relates to novel compositions of therapeutic cyclodextrin containing polymeric compounds designed as a carrier for small molecule therapeutics delivery and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. These cyclodextrin-containing polymers improve drug stability and solubility, and reduce toxicity of the small molecule therapeutic when used in vivo. Furthermore, by selecting from a variety of linker groups and targeting ligands the polymers present methods for controlled delivery of the therapeutic agents. The invention also relates to methods of treating subjects with the therapeutic compositions described herein. Abstract: Disclosed is a polyamide molding compound having heat aging resistance for use as automobile or electrical components and composed of: (A) 27-84.99 wt % of a polyamide mixture consisting of (A1) at least one semiaromatic, semicrystalline polyamide having a melting point of 255° C. to 330° C., (A2) at least one caprolactam-containing polyamide that is different from (A1) and that has a caprolactam content of at least 50 wt %, where the total caprolactam content is 22-30 wt %, with respect to the polyamide mixture, (B) 15-65 wt % of at least one filler and reinforcing agent, (C) 0.01-3.0 wt % of at least one thermal stabilizer, and (D) 0-5.0 wt % of at least one additive, where the components (A)-(D) add up to 100 wt %.
