    Abstract: A fuel injection apparatus (FIG. 1) for internal combustion engines is proposed, in which the onset and end of injection are determined by means of a hydraulically actuated control slide. The injection pumps of the apparatus, preferably combined with an injection nozzle to make a pump/nozzle unit, have a central control fuel source represented by a supply pump and a first pressure limitation valve, which generates a control pressure (p.sub.S) actuating the control slide which is several times greater than the supply pressure (p.sub.V) determined by a second pressure limitation valve. In order to initiate the onset of injection, the control slide is placed under control pressure (p.sub.S) by a valve assembly via a distributor apparatus and closes an overflow channel leading out of the pump work chamber.     Abstract: An apparatus is proposed which serves to regulate the idling rpm of an internal combustion engine. The apparatus includes a bypass line bypassing an arbitrarily actuatable throttle valve in the intake tube. An electromagnetically actuatable bypass valve is disposed in the bypass line for the purpose of controlling supplementary air and is triggerable in accordance with operating characteristics of the engine. In addition, a pressure-sensing adjusting element is also provided, which responds to an abrupt reduction in the intake tube pressure downstream of the throttle device. In accordance with the magnitude of the pressure reduction, this pressure-sensing adjusting element effects a time-limited increase in the supplementary air quantity to the intake tube section downstream of the throttle valve.

An element firmly connected with the drive shaft is provided with an angle-indicator marking, which is equipped both as a coupling element for the position-fixing apparatus and as a pulse trigger for the pulse transducer. The apparatus can thus be used both as a locking apparatus for mounting the injection pump on the engine and, with the pulse transducer inserted, as a measurement and testing apparatus.

    Abstract: A fuel injection system is proposed for Diesel type internal combustion engines, by means of which the ignition conditions of a Diesel engine are kept optimal even during operation at high altitudes despite a reduced air charge. The system includes a fuel injection pump equipped with an injection timing adjustment apparatus which functions in accordance with rpm and a control apparatus functions in accordance with the air quantity supplied to the engine. By means of the control apparatus, a correction controlled in accordance with air pressure and therefore dependent on air quantity is superimposed on the change in the onset of the fuel supply controlled by the injection adjuster at least in accordance with rpm. When a hydraulic injection adjuster is used, the supply pressure of a control pump is increased by a correcting final control element of the control apparatus when the air quantity is decreasing in the direction toward an early adjustment of the onset of supply.

    Abstract: A differential pressure valve is proposed for a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine. The differential pressure valve includes a diaphragm embodied as the movable valve element, which separates two chambers from one another. A fuel supply line discharges into one chamber and a valve seat carrier provided with a valve opening protrudes into this chamber. This chamber also houses a filter element and a valve spring is disposed coaxially with the valve seat carrier between upper and lower spring plates. The filter element is disposed such that a subsequent change in the tension of the valve spring is also possible.
