Abstract: A machine tool for stamping and grooving paperboard for forming folding blanks which includes a die plate of fiber-reinforced, hard paper provided with marginal edges, ribs and grooves formed by means of program-controlled tools and having alignment openings for receiving alignment pins, the die plate being adhesively secured to one of the machine stamping plates.
Abstract: A hydraulic circuit construction for a working vehicle operable as a backhoe and also as a dozer, the circuit construction comprising a multiplex valve assembly with a dozer control valve for a dozer system, a motor control valve for one of right and left running systems, and an arm confluence valve for supplying pressure fluid to an arm cylinder of a backhoe system from a pump common to the dozer and motor valves are connected in series with one another to the pump, and a change-over valve is provided downstream from the dozer and the motor valves and upstream from the arm confluence valve for interrupting the supply of the pressure fluid from the pump to the arm confluence valve. The above circuit construction enables the vehicle to perform both operations, namely a bulldozing operation without the vehicle being urged to run obliquely, and a successful running out operation from a marshy ground by an arm operation without any one of the running system being urged to stop by the work load of the arm.
Abstract: A hydraulic brake booster for a vehicle brake system which has a control valve, actuatable via an excursion-limiting spring, which directs the flow of pressure medium from a supply source as an auxiliary force means. The excursion-limiting spring disposed subsequent to the brake pedal provides for sensitive response on the part of the control valve. In event the auxiliary force fails, the excursion-limiting spring is made ineffective so that pedal travel does not occur without being utilized. A shut-off mechanism is included to make the excursion-limiting spring ineffective has a shut-off member dependent on brake actuation and to which a motion pulse dependent on brake actuation can be imparted in the area of its outset position. In this manner, the shut-off mechanism is used during each occurrence of braking and thus cannot seize as a result of corrosion.

Abstract: This invention relates to an installation for the removal of surplus matel, especially from a block of cellular concrete utilizing suction means which includes a lever mechanism for lowering a suction nozzle controlled by means of a tension-member sensor consisting of a tension member stretched beneath a net of the suction nozzle, one end of said tension member being provided with a barrel cam co-operating with a limit switch designed for switching off the lever mechanism for lowering the suction nozzle, and simultaneously switching on fans.Moreover, the lever mechanism for lowering the suction nozzle is equipped with an additional emergency switch controlled automatically by means of a shock absorber, switching off the lever mechanism for lowering the suction nozzle in the case of the tension-member sensor being inoperative.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are proposed for the simultaneous damping of noise on the intake and pressure sides of fluid pumps, particularly fuel supply pumps. The method comprises the diverting of peaks of variation in the supply medium from the intake and pressure sides and then bringing them together, in a common region, into operative contact under the control of a diaphragm. The peaks of variation are furthermore adjusted in such a manner, by means of the length of the connection lines surrounding them, for example, that a phase displacement of 180.degree. is produced in the variations for the purpose of mutual compensation of the pressure variations on both sides which cause the generation of noise.
Abstract: A fuel injection control system generates control pulses which open the fuel injection valves of the engine. The pulse duration is proportional to the injected fuel quantity and can be altered in dependence on air temperature by a circuit which includes a temperature-sensitive resistor. The voltage at this resistor controls a transistor which supplies a supplementary charging current for a timing capacitor.

Abstract: A speed governor is proposed for fuel injected internal combustion engines capable of correcting the amount and/or mass of the injected fuel set by the governor, in order to maintain engine power at a fluctuating fuel temperature. The governor contains a supporting lever which retains the supporting pin of a control lever movable by the control member. The control lever is coupled with the fuel feed rate adjusting member of the injection pump, and the supporting lever is pivotable in the direction of an increase in the fuel feed rate, by means of a servo actuator of a correction device operating in dependence on the fuel temperature, when the fuel temperature rises. This correction step effective on the supporting lever also makes it possible to shut off the engine, independently of the fuel feed rate correction, by means of a shutoff lever effective on the supporting lever.
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for the continuous forming of high density, seamless candies from a strand of confectionary material provided with a viscous filling. Candy blanks are first cut from an incoming soft strand and then pressed into candy pieces of the desired shape. The apparatus includes cooperative complementally formed pairs of separating teeth as well as pairs of members for shaping the candy and stamping chambers arranged in a rotating rotor.

Abstract: A base with a central aperture and a post having an axially outwardly open hollow-tipped stem are mounted on a supporting sheet piece to make up either a stud or a socket of a plastic snap fastener. The base is placed in proper position on one side of the supporting piece, while the post is aligned with it on the other side of the supporting piece and is forced to pierce therethrough and to extend through the aperture in the base. The mounting is completed by crashing the hollow walls of the stem under axial pressure while exerting radially inwardly contracting force upon the open hollow tip brim of the stem.
Abstract: An rpm regulator for fuel injection pumps of internal combustion engines having a starting lever, which is coupled on one side with a fuel quantity setting member and on the other side with an rpm governor, which contacts the starting lever with an rpm dependent force in opposition to an arbitrarily variable force of a main control spring, which is included in series with the main control spring and is deformable up to a first stop. A further spring, also deformable up to the first stop, is provided parallel to the starting spring for the purpose of adaptation of the fuel injection quantity. It is proposed to provide a second stop in addition to the first stop, at least in the full load range, by means of which the starting lever can be blocked in the direction of the first stop from the time an adaptation rpm is attained and before it reaches the first stop.
Abstract: A fuel quantity regulator for self-igniting internal combustion engines having a fuel quantity regulator rod, an actuator for the regulator rod and an rpm governor. Between the actuator and the regulator rod there is interposed a rocker arm and an intermediate lever. The rocker arm is connected with the actuator, and the intermediate lever is connected to the regulator rod. During correct operation, the rocker arm engages a recess in the intermediate lever and as a result the actuator movement is transmitted to the regulator rod. When an error signal is generated, however, the rocker arm disengages the recess in the intermediate lever, and as a result the regulator rod is disconnected from the actuator so that only the rpm governor is operational relative to the regulator rod.
Abstract: In a so-called Coulter-device with a first and a second chamber, a separag wall between them and a measuring aperture in the separating wall, through which particle-free electrolyte flows from the first chamber into the second chamber, and with first and second electrodes in the first and second chamber resp., at which a measuring impulse indicating a certain property (e.g. volume) is derived upon the passage of a particle, which is supplied to it through a supply capillary ending in front of the measuring aperture, the improvement consisting in means to supply additional particle-free electrolyte to the particle stream at and/or in the neighborhood of the downstream end of the measuring aperture to deflect those particles, which, after passage through the measuring aperture, travel backward to the same and cause error impulses.

Abstract: The method and apparatus determines the moment when, in the course of an operation of freezing a biological body of predetermined contour, the freezing becomes complete. At the periphery of the body are implanted at least two electrodes for monitoring the impedance of the body between said electrodes. The electrodes are connected to the terminals of an impedance measuring head and of an alternating current generator. The variations of this impedance are a function of the state of freezing said body. The moment when this impedance becomes very high corresponds to complete freezing of the body between the electrodes.

Abstract: A flow rate meter, especially for measuring the air flow rate in the intake of internal combustion engines, in which a heatable wire is located for exposure to the air stream. A controller maintains the temperature or resistance of the heated wire constant, thereby permitting a determination of the air flow from the current required in the control process. In order to prevent internal stresses in the wire due to varying expansion, the two ends of the wire are firmly mounted in a support structure while at least one intermediate part is looped loosely around an intermediate support point. In order to prevent uncontrollable heat transfer from the loop to the third support point, the wire is electrically joined at the point where the parts of the wire forming the loop cross one another, thereby preventing electrical current from flowing in the loop. Furthermore, the sensitive parts of the wire lie in the main flow and do not closely approach the wall of the structure.
