    Abstract: An electromagnetically actuatable valve is proposed, which serves in particular as a fuel injection valve for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines. The valve includes pole pieces supported in a valve housing, which are joined by a yoke on which a magnetic coil is disposed. Remote from the yoke, the first pole piece has a first pole and the second pole piece has a second pole, the pole pieces are arranged to extend toward one another and define therebetween a gap in which a nonmagnetic stop may be disposed. The pole pieces have a continuously extending, concave surface which confront a ball which serves as both the armature and the movable valve element. The ball is urged toward a valve seat by a guide diaphragm supportedly attached to the housing at its circumference.

The valve includes a valve housing and a core of ferromagnetic material as well as an armature, which actuates a valve element cooperating with a fixed valve seat. The stop face is defined on one side by an inner bore of the valve housing and on the other by the rim of a groove which is embodied in the end face. The circumference of the armature partially overlaps the groove.

    Abstract: There is proposed a speed governor for a fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having a governor lever for setting the fuel injection quantity and a governor spring assembly arranged to engage the governor lever and counter to which an rpm-dependent force acts. To compensate for manufacturing tolerances of the governor spring assembly, it is also proposed that the effective length of a spring of the governor spring assembly be varied by realizing one of the supporting parts of the governor spring assembly as a multiple-part element. The supporting part is embodied such that it can be displaced by an adjusting lever in order to vary the pre-stressing of the governor spring, and that the first part is extended coaxially through it out of the interior of the fuel injection pump and can then be rotated in order to adjust the effective length of the governor spring and then fixed in an intended rotational position.

    Abstract: A fuel injection nozzle having an outwardly opening valve needle to which a piston is connected and on which a cap is mounted. The cap encloses a damping chamber, which communicates in a throttled manner, via the play between the piston and the cap, with the flow course of the fuel. Oriented toward the cap is a blocking shoulder attached to the housing, which shoulder restrains the cap, after an undamped pre-stroke (h.sub.v), relative to the valve needle, which continues to move, its continued movement being damped thereby. A spring acts via a spacer body upon the cap, the spacer body keeping the cap at a distance from the blocking shoulder corresponding to the pre-stroke (h.sub.v) in the closing position of the valve needle. As a result, the prescribed set-point value of the pre-stroke (h.sub.v) can be adhered to very precisely.

    Abstract: A restoring device for an adjusting element, which serves in particular for restoring a throttle device of an internal combustion engine. The restoring device has a first spring subject to bending, which is disposed on a bushing that is rotatably supported about a throttle valve shaft and with one end engages a step of the bushing, while the other end of the spring is hooked onto the housing on the throttle valve fitting. A lever is connected with the shaft. The first spring subject to bending acts in the restoring direction of the throttle valve. A second spring subject to bending is disposed in the bushing, one end of this spring engaging the bushing and the other end being supported on the lever. The spring force of the second spring subject to bending is less than that of the first such spring, so that the bushing, with a stop step, is rotated so far that the second spring has not influence in the restoring direction upon the throttle valve.

At the same time, at at least one position of the final control element, an end stage monitoring signal which is to be fed back is prepared and fed back to the computer, which via a separate shutoff stage for the end stage makes this end stage current-free whenever agreement does not exist between the two signals in terms of the duty cycle.

    Abstract: An apparatus for producing tubular-pouch packages is proposed, which has a pair of endless conveyor belts subjected to underpressure in order to intermittently advance the tube. In order to attain a simple structure and low wear on the part of the tube-advancing device, the conveyor belts advancing the tube are driven continuously, and the underpressure exerted through these belts and effecting frictional engagement between the conveyor belts and the tube is intermittently controlled. A brake for the packaging material, which also works by means of underpressure, is associated with the arriving web of packaging material and is alternatively exposed to underpressure or to atmospheric pressure with the suction devices of the conveyor belts.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel injection nozzle for internal combustion engines, in which a damping piston is located on the end of the valve needle, which valve needle opens in the flow direction, remote from the injection side. The damping piston cooperates with a cap that is mounted on the damping piston and spring-loaded in the direction of opening, and the cap and the damping piston define a damping chamber. A support ring which is stressed in a positively engaged manner by the closing spring of the injection nozzle is disposed on the valve needle. In the spatial segment between the damping chamber and the support ring, an encapsulated induction coil attached to a tubular segment surrounds the valve needle, and the support ring serves as the armature of a transducer embodied by the injection coil and at least one part, serving as the yoke of the encapsulation.
