Abstract: A fluid-delivery check valve is described, in which the body and a sleeve threaded thereon define a chamber with inlet and outlet ports therein. A plate shutter interacts with the valve seat and has peripherically thereof guiding wings which are positioned parallel to the axis of the shutter and slide on the inner surface of the chamber. The specific design of the shutter prevents oblique positioning of the valve stem and simplify the structure and operation of the valve.

The bottom (1) has cavities (4). Peripheral flanges (3, 3') includes ears (6, 6') and are welded along a strip (7) having weakened regions (8). The cover is peelable.
Abstract: The self adjusting pivot joint with axial play for motor vehicles includes a housing and a pivot, rotatably seated at one end therein by means of a bearing of elastically deformable material, slitted in the lengthwise direction, whereby the outer conical bearing is fitted into a corresponding conical recessed portion of the housing and a prestressed spring is loaded in the direction of the conical tip, between the bearing, on one end, and a closing part of the housing, on the other. The pivot is provided with a peripheral recessed portion, which extends by its width in the direction of the lengthwise axis of the pivot and engages with an inner projection of the bearing, the width of which is less than that of the peripheral recess of the pivot.
Abstract: A device for the determination of the concentration of substances with paramagnetic properties, particularly oxygen, in substance mixtures comprises a cell assembly and devices to produce a magnetic field as well as to measure changes in the magnetic induction. Great mechanical accuracy and stability in the measuring of a change in the magnetic induction uninfluenced by external disturbing fields or by mechanical changes due to external temperature fluctuations or vibrations with a coil assembly for producing a magnetic field and for measuring the induction signal comprising self-contained coil carriers, which, surrounding a cell assembly and are arranged respectively at a distance from the axis of rotation of the cell assembly.
Abstract: Distribution hanger for decorative light strings comprises: a distribution box made of insulation material, a power inlet plug, conductor wires connected within the box to provide a plurality of outlet sockets and/or connectors for lamp seat, for distribution or cascading string sets thereof, and a hanging hook or ring made integrally with the box; advantageously, the lid of the box is also made integral. The hanger gives synergetic effects of interest and variation.
Abstract: An air dryer apparatus for making use of exhaust air from pneumatic operative devices as purging air, wherein the outlet opening of the air dryer apparatus and the exhaust port of the pneumatic devices are put in communication with each other by way of a purging passage, and wherein there are provided a second check valve means on the way of the purging passage means in such a manner that the forward working direction thereof may be headed towards the outlet opening of the air dryer apparatus; and exhaust valve means having an exhaust valve body formed integrally with the valve body of the purge valve, and adapted to operate in such a manner that the exhaust valve body is opened when the purge valve body is in a closed position, while the exhaust valve body is closed when the purge valve body reaches a preset degree of opening, or more specifically, so that the closing operation of the exhaust valve means at the time of purging operation may be provided upon the opening of the purge valve; and wherein the sec
Abstract: An oil burner for heating systems includes an atomizer nozzle placed in or connected to an oil feed pipe and a shutoff element is arranged in the oil feed pipe which has a blocking element which can be moved by the inflowing oil, within limits. The blocking element or a part adjacent the oil flow conduit are formed either entirely or partially from a permanent magnet and one can be moved into the closed position by its magnetic force to reliably prevent dripping of the oil from the atomizer nozzle after completion of a combustion process.

Abstract: In a container, in particular munitions container, an outer jacket is provided with an inner lining. To retain the inner lining in the outer jacket a bead, concave as viewed from the inside, circles the outer jacket and an elastic safety ring is inserted in the bead.
Abstract: The invention is concerned with a positioning device for the feed of objects along a feed path made up of a number of sections running in different directions. Feed motion takes place using a single object holder, which during the entire feed stroke is coupled with the piston rod of a piston and cylinder actuator. The holder is furthermore positively steered along the feed path by a cam with a positive action and the cylinder is so mounted on a stationary pivot member that it is able to perform a movement made up of two components of motion extending at right angles to each other.
Abstract: Reactive sintering process for producing a shaped body containing the nickel aluminide compound Ni.sub.3 Al, which comprises sintering a compacted shaped mass containing an intimate mixture of substances, e.g. including elemental nickel powder and elemental aluminum powder in a stoichiometric atomic ratio generally corresponding to the compound Ni.sub.3 Al, by heating the mass, e.g. in a vacuum, to an elevated sintering temperature, e.g. 500-750.degree. C., sufficiently to initiate an exothermic reaction, and at a heating rate sufficiently for consequent progressive generation of a transient liquid below the melting point of the aluminum powder and at the corresponding eutectic temperature, and upon initiation of the exothermic reaction continuing the sintering sufficiently to form a densified shaped body containing the nickel aluminide compound Ni.sub.

Abstract: A method for the thermochemical surface treatment of workpieces in a reactive gas plasma is disclosed in which an appreciable reduction in the amount of reactive gas and energy used is achieved by working at gas pressures below 10 pascals (Pa). Particularly advantageous results are achieved with a low-voltage electrical arc discharge, which leads to an ionization of the gases used (about 50%) that is substantially higher than that, which is achieved with the methods described in the art 6 (approximately 1%). Surfaces, treated by such a conduct of the reaction, are distinguished by an increased hardness and better wear properties. The method of the invention moreover allows more numerous variation possibilities than do the methods described in the art and enables the conduct of the method to be adapted in a flexible manner to the specific requirements of the particular case.
Abstract: It is a question of a multi-part piston more especially for use in double acting cylinder actuators. The piston has two piston halves that are mounted on a piston rod so as to be symmetrical about a contact surface between them. Each piston half has a metallic inner member with a radial anchoring projection, as for example in the form of a flange. On the inner member there is a molded casing of synthetic resin. Each piston half has a piston seal arranged in a circumferential groove in the outer surface of the casing.
Abstract: A device for regulating the RPM of an electromotor with an RPM generator coupled to it for generating pulses, measures the intervals between the pulses of a measure of the RPM of the motor. The device includes an oscillator for generating clock signals, which are transmittable to a counter, which counts the number of clock signals between successive pulses of the oscillator, a register, which accepts the counter indication and a device for generating a control value for correcting the RPM of the electromotor over a digital-to-analog converter connected in series to the motor. To generate the control value for regulating the RPM, and RC network containing a manually adjustable control resistance is provided, the capacitor of which can be short-circuited by a switch, which can be activated by an oscillator-driven contact mechanism. The capacitor is additionally connected to a circuit element for switching on the counter, whose switching off can be activated by the oscillator-driven contact mechanism.
