Abstract: A fuse box for a vehicle contains a base box having a housing in which a first bus bar with a battery connection terminal is disposed. The fuse box is configured according to a modular system. For this purpose, the housing is provided for the attachment of an extension box. The extension box preferably has a second bus bar that is placed in contact with the first bus bar. As a result of the modular system with the extension box, it is possible, for example, to allow for extensions in a vehicle on-board power system with little expenditure in respect of the fuse box.

Abstract: In a method for engraving printing cylinders in an electronic engraving machine, printing densities are matched in individual engraving lanes by engraving cups in the printing lanes with which the prescribed characteristic rated printing densities are to be achieved. The actual printing densities are identified by measurement after the printing. A corrected lane calibration is derived for the respective engraving lane from deviations between the rated printing densities and the actual printing densities. The allocated corrected lane calibration is applied in the engraving lanes.
Abstract: A gas bag consists of an upper piece, a front piece and a rear piece, which each have a generally hexagonal shape with a first half and a second half. The first half of the upper piece is congruent with the second half of the rear piece and connected therewith along three outer edges thereof. The first half of the rear piece is congruent with the second half of the front piece and connected therewith along three outer edges thereof. The first half of the front piece is congruent with the second half of the upper piece and connected therewith along three outer edges thereof.

Abstract: To suppress spread of fire from a fixing chamber of a fixing station in an electrophotographic print or copy device, in the event of a fire, in order to partition a fixing chamber for a recording medium in a fireproof manner, arranged at the openings of the fixing chamber is a safety apparatus made of an elastic sealing element and a counter-element, between which the recording medium is guided through. The sealing element is comprised of a fiberglass tube, inside which an elastic filling material or an elastic spreading element is situated. When the sealing element is pressed on the counter-element, a clamp region for the recording medium is formed, via which the opening of the fixing chamber can be sealed and a burning segment of the recording medium can be extinguished. Additionally, ashes present on the recording medium can be removed.
Abstract: The invention relates to an end wall module for a transport vehicle. The inventive end wall module having a first wall and the second wall arranged at a distance therefrom. The first wall is embodied in the form of a first corrugated structure and the second wall is embodied in the form of a second corrugated structure. Said corrugated structures are embodied in such a way that they are distanced from each other when the end wall module is mounted without being deformed and are engaged into each other by the shape thereof when the end wall module is at least in the first deformation stage.

Abstract: In the case of a position-correction device for correcting the position of a component holder of a handling apparatus for electronic components, in particular ICs, a base plate and a centering frame which can be displaced in relation to the base plate are provided in the region of a contact unit. A drive device is also provided and is operatively connected to the centering frame in order to displace the centering frame and thus the component holder inserted into the centering frame as a function of correction values which are calculated by a computation device on the basis of measured values which are obtained by a position-detection device for detecting the actual position of the component which is to be tested and is held in the component holder.
Abstract: The invention relates to a quality control method for two-dimensional matrix codes on metallic workpieces, said codes consisting of stamped marking dots. The stamping process for the marking dots is carried out by a marking tool (17) with the aid of predetermined digital positional data. The corresponding image data is then recorded for analysis by means of the image processing device (22), exclusively at the locations that have been predetermined by the positional data, or additional image data that has been previously generated is also used for the analysis, to establish whether a correct marking dot with the required quality characteristics is present.
Abstract: The utilization of the capacity of a data transmission system (e.g., a MOST vehicle network) is improved in the event that the operating frequency and channel width of the system do not match the word frequency and word width of the digitized signal. The data words of the digitized signal are decomposed into partial words with a smaller width than that of the channels on which they are transmitted. Consequently, in each individual channel there remains a residual transmission capacity that makes it possible to transmit an identifier for each individual transmitted partial data word. A data sink, connected to the transmission system, uses this identifier to obtain information about the position of the respective partial data word in its original data word. This identifier may be one bit (i.e., a Boolean signal).

Abstract: In a method and system for transfer printing of an electrostatic recharge toner image from an intermediate carrier onto a recording medium and for fixing of the transfer-printed toner image onto the recording medium, the recording medium lying on an electrostatically-chargeable conveyor belt and adhered thereto by electrostatic forces is transported through a transfer printing region and subsequently along a guided transport section. The recording medium is conveyed to a fixing device. The guided transport section is arranged in a transport unit and the fixing device is arranged in a fixing unit which are independent of one another. The fixing unit has at least one wall designed to hinder a heat transfer from the fixing unit to the transport unit.
