  • Publication number: 20060270511
Abstract: A differential gear apparatus includes a housing, left and right shafts respectively having journal ends disposed in the housing and rotatable relative to the housing about a central axis to rotate wheels of a vehicle, a ring gear received in the housing and driven by a motor to rotate about the central axis relative to the housing, a central mount disposed at the center of the ring gear to be rotated therewith. Front and rear differential pinions and left and right bevel gears are journalled on front and rear bearing members on the central mount and left and right anti-frictional bearings in the housing, respectively. Each of the left and right bevel gears meshes with both the front and rear differential pinions, and is rotated with a respective one of the shafts so as to transmit rotational force thereto.

  • Publication number: 20060262733
Abstract: The present invention applies management frame defined in IEEE 802.11 standard to a wireless distribution system (WDS) mode by adding an information element (IE) into the management frame, which enables any access point (AP) in WDS to maintain IE based on its own setting and state, then send IE via the management frame for providing state of the AP under WDS mode, determine whether a physical link (i.e., a wireless link between APs) should be established therewith based on received IE, and maintain the established physical link through the wireless management frame in a real time manner. Thus, the existence and necessity of the physical link between different APs in WDS can be determined correctly.

  • Patent number: 7071597
Abstract: A motion sensing system utilizing piezoelectric laminates with predetermined surface electrode patterns disposed thereon utilizes a frequency selector to pass motion waves of predetermined frequencies and an electrical circuit for processing the electrical signals for transmission to an activating device for appropriate activation. In particular, the frequency selector is a low frequency bandpass filter for free-fall acceleration wave frequencies. By directing appropriate action, the present invention increases the applicability of the device upon which it is mounted (e.g., for military or other hostile environment use), decreases the possibility of damage, and lengthens its useful life.

  • Publication number: 20050188842
Abstract: A method for detecting the cleanliness of a filter. The filter is disposed on an air inlet or an air outlet of a fan. The method includes the following steps. At first, outputting a rotation control voltage to the fan, and an airflow generated by the rotation of the fan flows through the filter. Then, detect an actual rotation rate of the fan, and calculate an actual dust value f1 according to the actual rotation rate and the rotation rate control voltage. Then, a dust upper limit value of the filter is defined. Finally, the cleanliness of the filter is determined according to the actual dust value and the dust upper limit value.
