Abstract: New pharmaceutical compositions in unit dosage form are disclosed for both intraoral and oral administration to a patient, said unit dosage form configured to be placed intraorally of said patient, which comprises: (a) as a first portion, at least one discrete molded triturate tablet comprising a therapeutically effective amount of at least one pharmaceutically active ingredient capable of intraoral administration; and (b) as a second portion located around the said first portion, a therapeutically effective amount of at least one pharmaceutically active ingredient capable of oral administration and which is releasable and orally ingestible by the patient after the molded triturate tablet has disintegrated or has dissolved intraorally.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for providing broadcast programs. The method of providing a broadcast program in a client apparatus, includes generating final frame information identifying a frame corresponding to a broadcast watching stop time of a broadcast program that a user has been watching; transmitting the final frame information to a server that provides the broadcast program through the Internet; requesting the broadcast program from the server; receiving the broadcast program starting from a final frame searched for by the server based on the final frame information; and providing the broadcast program to the user. It is possible to provide a broadcast program from the stopped part of the broadcast program at a desired time after a user stops watching the broadcast program, even though the broadcast program is not recorded by the client apparatus.

Abstract: In an LCD for enhancing a reflection ratio, a second substrate faces the first substrate on which a pixel array is formed, a liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first and second substrates, an insulating layer on the first substrate includes first regions and second regions, where each of the second regions has a height difference relative to each of first regions, a base line of a first region forms an angle from about 5 to about 15 degrees with respect to a tangent line of a second region, an embossing pattern with a uniform and low stepped portion is formed by regulating an exposure amount applied to the organic insulating layer so that a reflection ratio is maximized and a distribution of the slopes of an embossing pattern is uniform, and the reflection ratio is enhanced in a specific direction by forming the embossing pattern with an asymmetric profile.

Abstract: There is provided a micro power generating device. A compressor impeller and a turbine wheel are coupled to the ends of a rotating shaft. A cooler is provided for lowering a temperature of the compressed air from the compressor impeller. The compressed air is mixed with the fuel and combusted in a combustion chamber. An air foil thrust bearing for supporting the rotating shaft has a thrust collar coupled to the rotating shaft, as well as a pair of thrust discs located apart from the thrust collar and fixed to the housing. Impeller type seals are formed at both surfaces of the thrust collar and impulse turbine blades are formed at the periphery of the thrust collar. A generator is positioned between the air foil thrust bearing and the compressor impeller. A portion of the cool air is bypassed toward the generator and the impulse turbine blades from the cooler.

Abstract: A connector position assurance device includes a base panel member and a latch assembly connected to and extending generally perpendicularly from the base panel member. The latch assembly has a tongue part and a pair of rails disposed apart from and extending parallel to one another. The tongue part is positioned between and disposed apart from the pair of rails to define a pair of open-ended stop-receiving channels. The tongue part is formed with a slot and a follower projection is connected to the tongue part forward of the slot. The tongue part is movable, in an upward direction, to and between a relaxed normal position and an upward flexed position and, in a downward direction, to and between the relaxed normal position and a downward flexed position. The tongue part is resiliently biased to the relaxed normal position. A connector assembly incorporates the connector position assurance device.

The OLED device includes: a substrate; an anode formed on the substrate; a first organic thin layer formed on the anode; an organic emission layer formed on the first organic thin layer; a second organic thin layer formed on the organic emission layer; and a cathode formed on the second organic thin layer, wherein the first and second organic thin layers are formed in a single layer or a multi-layer, and at least a part of the first or second organic thin layer is doped with or formed of an insulator. The OLED device provides excellent durability, long life-time, and increased luminous efficiency by balanced charge injection caused by doping or stacking the insulator into or on the organic thin layer.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing rice gruel in an aseptic package, whereby original soft texture and taste of grains of rice can be conserved or an extended period of time and protected from microbial contamination. The preparation process of rice gruel includes the steps of: rinsing raw ice and immersing the rice in water; putting the rice in a heat resistant plastic bowl and sterilizing at 130-150° C. for 4-8 seconds four to ten times repeatedly; adding cooking water into the bowl in an aseptic space and cooking the rice; and sealing and wrapping the bowl. By adding the cooking water at two separate times, namely before the cooking process and the wrapping process, the liquid food's unique taste and texture can be maximized.

The high performance digital X-ray image detector of this invention has a high image resolution and a large area, is easy to manufacture and process compared to conventional processes, and has excellent detection efficiency of electrical signals.

The capacitor is preferably a super capacitor.
