Abstract: A dining plate includes a top portion with a substantially transparent window therein. The plate also includes a bottom portion with a bottom surface having a first outside receiving groove and second inside receiving groove. The bottom portion has a generally planar shape that corresponds generally to the shape of the top portion. The bottom portion also has a top surface with a continuous inner standing rib and an outward rim. The top and bottom portions are joined together so that the inner standing rib is releaseably positioned in the inside receiving groove and the outward rim is releaseably positioned in the outside receiving groove. A substantially watertight cavity is formed between a central section of each of the top and bottom portions. The cavity is aligned with the window in the top portion.

Abstract: This invention provides a platform bed comprised of two oblong box portions that can be mated using three flat rectangles that bolt between the oblong box portions such that the platform surface remains flush along its length, as well as the two sides. There is also a head portion that bolts to one of the oblong box portions along the side furthest from the side at which the rectangles have mated to that oblong box portion. Feet and other items such as cushions, connective hardware and perhaps a simple wrench may be provided to complete the kit. The various parts of the kit can be nested together in their disassembled state such that they fit into a narrow flat box for easy storage and transport.

Abstract: An environmentally friendly package containing refill folded sheets is provided. The package contains a plurality of refill cartridges stacked together. Each refill cartridge contains a stack of interfolded sheets. In one embodiment, for instance, the sheets may comprise facial tissues. Each refill cartridge is configured to refill a sheet dispenser such as a paperboard dispenser. In this manner, a consumer can continually refill a single dispenser instead of having to repurchase a dispenser each time the folded sheet product is purchased.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to an adaptable storage device for rain attire. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention relate to an adaptable storage device that can be easily transported, may be affixed to a variety of everyday articles, provides a fashionable appearance, and conveniently stores rain attire and accessories thereof until needed. In one embodiment of the present invention, an adaptable storage device for rain attire comprises a substantially water-proof storage portion having an inner volume for storing rain attire; a closure means for sealing the inner volume of the storage portion; and an attachment means for attaching the adaptable storage device to an apparatus.

Abstract: This invention relates to a drinking container with a storage compartment that dispenses moist towelettes which provides a convenient way for people to sanitize their hands and contaminated surfaces when no restroom facilities are available or when eating on the go. It's ideal for sports events, shoppers, tourists, work, school, law enforcement, hospitals, military and many more markets. The moist towelettes are protected from contamination by a door covering the dispenser output. When ready for use the door is opened and a moist towelette is pulled and a towelette is dispensed individually. The top portion of the container holds liquids for consumption. The bottom portion of the container houses the moist towelettes.

Abstract: The invention provides a modular and foldable recycling apparatus for home use. The apparatus contains multiple modules attached in series, which can be separated into individual modules. Each module is made of a foldable frame to hold a container, such as a bag, for the containment, separation and transport of recyclable materials. The apparatus can be folded like an accordion to allow for convenient storage.

Abstract: A blister package with an integrated RFID tag is provided. The conductive lidding material is modified to serve not only to seal some contents within some formed blister film, but also to act as an RFID tag antenna. An electronic circuit is electrically connected to the lidding film antenna. Methods of manufacture which integrate with conventional blister package manufacturing processes are also provided.

Abstract: The present invention provides novel methods and materials for efficiently treating patients having an HLA-B*0702 phenotype, based on peptides representing shared epitopes of tumour antigens. In particular, the invention relates to a method for identifying a HLA-B*0702-restricted peptide which can trigger a cytotoxic response against several antigens from one single multigenic family, and to several such epitopes.

In a first embodiment, the end of a pipe adjacent a manhole is sealed by the use of a pipe liner and a tubular sleeve made of a hydrophilic material. In a second embodiment, a majority of the area surrounding a junction of a pipe and a manhole is sealed by the use of a tubular sleeve made of a hydrophilic material including a flange portion, a pipe liner, and a manhole liner.

Abstract: The invention relates to a fibrin-based scaffold suitable for supporting a population of cells comprising mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) and/or umbilical tissue derived cells (UTC) at the site of administration for a prolonged period of time. The scaffold is capable of supporting at least 1×106 cells/ml scaffold. The invention also relates to the preparation of the scaffold and to its use. Preparation of the scaffold is carried out with a fibrinogen component comprising fibrinogen having a final concentration of higher than 17.5 mg/ml scaffold. The scaffold and the embedded MSC and/or UTC can be used for increasing vascularization and/or wound healing at the site of administration.

The navigation aid sign has a first rigid sheet member having an upper surface, a lower surface and a peripheral edge, a second rigid sheet member having an upper surface and a lower surface extending outward from the peripheral edge of the first rigid sheet member at a predetermined angle to a predetermined length, thereby defining an angled collar of the first rigid sheet member sized and configured to redirect light waves emanating from a light source, and a luminescent layer. It is envisioned that an embodiment of the present invention might also include a means for retrofitting existing nautical navigation aids with a photoluminescent element and a light wave re-directing means for improved photoluminescent qualities.

Abstract: A cleaning composition and process for cleaning post-chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) residue and contaminants from a microelectronic device having said residue and contaminants thereon. The cleaning compositions are substantially devoid of amine and ammonium-containing compounds, e.g., quaternary ammonium bases. The composition achieves highly efficacious cleaning of the post-CMP residue and contaminant material from the surface of the microelectronic device without compromising the low-k dielectric material or the copper interconnect material.

Abstract: A cleaning system stored within its own storage case having an integrated and collapsible handle, a dustpan, and a broom head specifically designed to sweep under furniture and other obstacles is herein disclosed. When in a broom configuration, a curved handle portion and the bristled broom head allows cleaning beneath objects. The handle can be removed from the broom portion and attached to the dustpan to remove dirt and debris. The broom head, with its own separate angled handle, may also be utilized as a whisk broom to collect the dirt and refuse into the dustpan. Abstract: A phase change material (PCM) is used as thermal storage for lighting systems. The PCM is placed in a thermally conductive container in close contact with the lighting system. As the PCM absorbs heat, it changes from a solid to a liquid state, but the temperature of the PCM is clamped at its melting point temperature. For LED-based systems, the PCM is selected to have a melting point such that the junction temperatures of the LEDs in the system are maintained at approximately their optimum operating temperature inside the lighting system housing. Because the thermal conductivity of the molten PCM is poor, a low thermal resistance heat flow path is provided from the PCM to the container.

Abstract: A method for disposing of liquid aqueous laboratory waste is described, which involves solidifying the liquid waste with a suitable isovolumic, space-filling superabsorbent polymer within a disposable impermeable film-type container held in an open top, reusable rigid outer container such as a laboratory beaker, and closing and removing the disposable container containing the solidified waste from the rigid outer container. The waste held in the film-type container can be finally disposed of through incineration or deposit in a suitable landfill.
