Abstract: A novel bag for holding, transporting, and pouring a bulk product is provided. In one embodiment, the bag comprises a curved, perforated section at one corner. The section can be removed by tearing along the perforation, thus forming a spout for pouring the product from the bag. In another embodiment, the bag further comprises a second perforated section extending the majority of the way (and preferably the entire way) horizontally across the bag. In this embodiment, the bag could alternatively, or additionally, be opened by tearing along the second set of perforations and separating the resulting two sections of the bag. The bag is typically formed of plastic, and can be used for salt, animal food, and other pourable products.
Abstract: An easily open-able plastic bag is provided. The bag comprises a notch or opening in its front panel that allows the user to touch the back panel of the bag and pull the bag open. The notch is designed to remove the connection between the front panel of the bag and the means to hold it in place on the dispenser such that the front panel can be freely opened. The rear panel of the bag has a more strenuous connection to the means holding the bag to the dispenser such that the force of opening the bag does not cause the bag to be released from the dispenser. The invention also provides a system to aid in the easy opening of the bag, including a device to help push the notch out from the plane of the bags and a method to manufacture the bags.
Abstract: A bag includes an organ transporter compartment to contain an organ transporter disposed in the transporter compartment. The bag may also include a frame and handles. The handles may include structure adapted to mate with handles on the organ transporter. The bag may also include a single cover that provides access to multiple compartments with their own internal covers. Also, the bag may include windows to view documents stored in the bag and/or to view and/or display control panels on the organ transporter.

Besides, the containing structure further includes a holding portion. Under a contained state, the holding portion is used to contain smaller objectives; whereas, in an unfolded state, in addition to using the flexible enclosure to contain larger objectives, the holding portion can be also used to contain smaller objectives. The present invention can be also applied to a piece of clothing combined with a bag unit or other flexible enclosure.
Abstract: A ventilated bulk bag formed of a first fabric of interwoven yarns that define gaps therebetween to be air permeable, with a top panel formed of a second fabric of first yarns with a first cross-sectional shape and second yarns of a second cross-sectional shape interwoven in a second alliance to defines gaps adjacent the interwoven yarns, which gaps are apparent when viewed from an oblique angle relative to a plan view of the top panel, for keeping dust landing thereon from going through the gaps but allowing the top panel to ventilate air through the gaps.

In one example the second portion may be hingedly mounted to the first portion, and the lifting member may be mounted such that when the assembly is lifted, the hinge is in an up-and-down orientation. In another embodiment, the lifting member may be eccentrically mounted, such that the assembly may possibly sit more comfortably against a carrier's hip. The first container portion may have an auxiliary opening or door, and that door may be more easily opened than the main access of the first insulated container portion.
Abstract: The invention relates to a Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC) having a body made of flexible woven fabric, and integral handling devices, wherein the fabric is woven from opaque oriented polyethylene terephthalate (PET) strips having a density of from 500 to 1300 kg/m3 and a tensile strength of at least 250 MPa. Advantages of said FIBC include directly printability with the usual type of inks, giving excellent contrast and good adhesion, without pre-treatment like a corona- or flame-treatment. The FIBC based on the PET fabric also shows higher gloss; better UV resistance; better mechanical properties, like high tensile strength and creep resistance; favorable abrasion resistance; and higher temperature resistance than a conventional big bag based on polypropylene strips. The invention further relates to such a FIBC based on stress-whitened PET tapes obtained by a special drawing process.
