The purse caddy includes an open-topped box dimensioned to receive a purse and a strap for supporting the open-topped box. The open-topped box has: a bottom panel, a front panel hingedly secured to the bottom panel and extending upwardly from the bottom panel, a back panel hingedly secured to the bottom panel at a location remote from the front panel and extending upwardly from the bottom panel, and at least one elastic strip connecting the front panel and the back panel together at a height above the bottom panel. The opposed ends of the strap are connected to the back panel so as to form a loop for encircling a support like the headrest of a vehicle seat.

Abstract: A portable soft sided insulated container has an impermeable liner that provides a liquid holding barrier. The liner is folded from a single monolithic plastic sheet to reduce or eliminate the need for heat welded seams. The liner seats within the container and has a releasable attachment around its lip for mating with the rim of the container. The container has an insulated lid so that the entire assembly may be closed. The liner can be removed for cleaning, or replacement if punctured. When not in use the entire assembly can be folded into a collapsed position for storage. The container has two storage chambers that share a common insulated dividing wall.

Abstract: The invention relates to a bag that includes a shell having a predetermined maximum vertical rise. A channel is connected to the shell. An elongated strap has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is disposed within the channel, and the second portion is exposed from the channel. The strap is moveable with respect to the channel thereby causing the shell to cinch and the bag to assume a vertically constrained size while a carry strap increases in size. Optionally, the carry strap has an adjustable length to meet the needs of users of various height and having differing notions of how to wear the bag on their bodies.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method for attaching a flexible cord handle on a bag comprising the steps of: forming a pair of apertures through a bag wall, providing at least one substantially planar obstruction member with at least one cord receiving passageway therethrough, passing at least one free end of a flexible cord through one of said apertures and into a respective cord receiving passageway of the obstruction member, and fixing the free end of the cord to the obstruction member by deforming at least a portion of the obstruction member surrounding the cord, and further wherein the greatest dimension of the obstruction member is larger than the aperture in the bag wall.

Abstract: The invention relates to a soft-sided carrying case and a method of manufacture thereof. The carrying case is made from moisture-impermeable, flexible, stretchable material, particularly adapted for outdoor use. A main body of the bag is secured by dielectric welding with a pair of drop-shaped end panels to form the carrying case. The main body, being cut on a bias, allows stretching of narrow ends of the main body to substantially conform to the drop-shaped end panels and form a wrinkle-free attachment.
Abstract: A bag of flexible material has a pair of opposing flat stiffener strips of stiffer material than the bag extending from the open end of the bag. The strips are joined together at least at one end. A closure device is formed on the inner face of each strip for releasably closing the open end of the bag. A handle flap extends upwardly from the upper edge of the strips at least at the one, joined end of the strips, and is integrally formed with the strips. A fold line joins the handle flap to the strips. Abstract: A portable lawn bag includes a bag and a pair of stakes. The bag is preferably rectangular in shape with an opening substantially perpendicular to the ground. Two holes are formed at a first end to receive a first stake. Two holes are formed at a second end to receive a second stake. Each stake includes a handle portion disposed at a first end, an upstanding pin, and an offset portion which is disposed at substantially the second end. During set-up, the bag is laid with either the top or bottom on the ground. The second end of each stake is inserted through a bottom hole at each end of the bag. The stakes are forced into the ground with a combination of hand pressure applied to the handle and foot pressure applied to the offset portions until the offset portions clamp the bag against the ground. A top hole at each end is placed over the upstanding pin of each stake. The upstanding pin holds the bag open such that lawn debris may be raked therein.
Abstract: A container for storing shoes having cleats/spikes uses a shoe bag for storing the shoes having one of cleats or spikes. The handle straps preferably further includes a metal snap fasteners for removably attaching the handle straps to the outer surface of the reclining mat to prevent an infant from being strangled by a handle strap while lying on the reclining mat.

Abstract: A mat that is convertible, when folded, into a bag. The mat includes a cushioned head portion and a larger body portion. The mat has a rectangular shape with two handle loops mounted to the cushioned head portion. A strap is attached at one end to a point on the cushioned head portion. To fold the mat, the first fold is longitudinally and the lateral edges of the cushioned head portion. The next step is to centrally fold the body portion in half thus defining the bottom for the internal cavity of the bag being formed. Next the corners of the folded body portion are folded again defining a triangle. Then, the pointed end of the triangle is brought against the cushioned head portion and the strap is passed around the folded body portion and fastened to it.
Abstract: A carrier bag for transporting granular foods and the like. The bag includes two main panels connected by two side panels. One of the side panels includes a bellows having a fold line and a folding zone that is defined by the immediate area surrounding the fold line. The bag also includes a top edge which defines an opening to the bag. The opening is closed by adhering together the two main panels close to and along the entire length of the top edge. Finally, a pull-tab is provided that is integrally formed with the bellows and projects out from the top edge.

Abstract: A bottom bag closure of the present invention is created from a substantially tubular length of fabric and two sets of connectors. One of a first set of connectors is on a partial seam on a back face of the bag. Another one of the first set of the connectors is on a bottom edge of a front face. Each of the second set of connectors is on the bottom edge of the back face adjacent an unconnected portion of the partial seam. The first set of connectors is connected toward the back face of the bag and the second set of connectors is connected toward the front face of the bag. The present invention also includes a method of creating the above set forth leakproof, reusable bottom bag closure.
Abstract: A clasp having a wafer-like body releasably holds together thin flexible handles of a bag for carrying articles. The body includes a pair of opposing lobes that define a channel extending from a peripheral edge to an interior aperture. A wall of the aperture defines two generally V-shaped niches, each on opposite sides of the channel adjacent the lobes. The handles of the bag, inserted through the channel to the interior aperture, engage the niches for holding the bag substantially closed when being operated for enveloping articles. Abstract: A diaper bag which contains a number of separate compartments for maximum organization and accessibility, yet is easy to carry. It is comprised of basically a flat rectangular piece of material, to which other materials, both opaque fabric and see through mesh fabric, are sewn as compartments in a configuration designed to arrange the infant care accessories in an orderly fashion. On the opposite side of the main piece of material is yet another compartment sewn on as a pocket. This pocket is lined with plastic, and has three elastic bottle holders within. At either end of the bag straps are sewn on for ease of portability. To carry this bag, one need only fold it in half with the several pockets on the inside of the fold, secure the two ends of the bag with fasteners and carry it by its straps.
Abstract: A detachable organizing apparatus which is mounted to children furniture for holding and providing easy access to a plurality of children accessories. The detachable organizing apparatus is easily adaptable to a number of different children furniture such as a crib, highchair and playpen. The organizing apparatus comprises an exterior container, a detachable inner liner or bag and a plurality of straps. The straps are generally employed to secure the organizing apparatus to a horizontal member of a children furniture. To effect easy removal of the organizing apparatus, the straps are equipped with quick release clips such as parachute clips. The inner liner is generally constructed from a washable fabric.

Abstract: A device for providing a plurality of ways for transporting articles wherein a bag, which is relatively large and flexible, is contained in a purse, which is relatively small, so that the purse may be turned inside out to expose the bag and wherein the bag has an internal volume many times greater than the volume of the purse and wherein the bag has a top portion which may be opened so that articles can be placed in the bag and closed to retain the articles therein and wherein the purse is located inside of the bag when in use and wherein the bag is provided with webbing so that the bag may be carried as a backpack, a shoulder bag or a hand bag.
Abstract: A carrying bag which is foldable into a compact configuration so that it can be stored in a pouch, wherein an upper edge of a pouch wall is attached to the bag at an edge defining the bag opening and wherein the pouch includes a flap which can be used to close the pouch when the bag is inside and to close the bag when the bag is in its unfolded condition.
Abstract: A carrier for a scuba tank having a nipple end and a bottom end and being of a specific size includes a porous fabric bag open at one end and sized to be snugly fitted onto the scuba tank from over the bottom end of the scuba tank. A closure for the open end of the bag permits selective opening and closing of the open end, and a strap has a first portion sewn to the bag and in encircling relation to at least a portion of the bag and a handle portion. The fabric bag can be snugly fitted onto the scuba tank from over the bottom end of the scuba tank, the open end of the bag can be closed by the closure and the combined scuba tank and bag may be conveniently carried using the strap handle portion as a handle, with the first portion of the strap providing support for the tank.
