Abstract: The present disclosure provides a baby swaddle that includes an inner strap adapted to releasably connect around a baby's chest, an outer strap adapted to releasably connect around the inner strap and secure a baby's arms between the inner strap and outer strap, wherein the inner strap is configured to prevent the baby swaddle from moving toward a baby's head.

The lower sheet fits on a mattress in a removable manner and the upper sheet is connected to the lower sheet through expandable flaps of material made from elastic, stretchable material. An expansion flap zipper runs between the sides of the upper and lower sheets so as to close the assembly when it is zipped, whereby the upper sheet is pulled tightly against the lower sheet but when it is opened by unzipping the upper sheet is allowed to move away from the lower sheet to the extent of the expandable flaps of material. Another release zipper is disposed adjacent the expansion flap zipper and interior for allowing laundering the upper and lower sheets separately.

Abstract: The invention is a bedding apparatus, to be used with a conventional mattress. The bedding's bottom layer is fitted, so as to fit snugly around a mattress. The bottom layer is connected to the top layer by an attachment device, preferably two zippers. The top layer extends over three edges of the bottom layer, so as to appear aesthetically pleasing and provide comfort to the user. The zippers allow a user to easily and quickly make up the bed after sleeping in the bedding. It also functions to keep the top layer from falling off of the bed while sleeping and facilitates the user in weekly changing of the bed.

Abstract: A bedding cover made of pest-impermeable fabric provides a zippered opening for insertion of mattresses, pillows, upholstered cushions and other bedding. At the end of the zipper track, where there may be a small opening when closed, a flap is attached to a plastic collar, which is stitched to the fabric cover at and around the end of the zipper track. The flap is adapted to fold over the end when the zipper is closed, providing a seal that prevents pests, such as bed bugs, from escaping the bedding cover or infesting the bedding.

The blanket may be used to quickly warm hands, arms, legs and feet with ease requiring no wires or electricity as with electric blankets. The design of the blanket allows the user to place their legs, feet, arms and hands into insulated and padded pockets and thus ensure that extremities remain warm. The present invention includes a blanket for warming extremities comprising: an arm warmer; a leg pocket configured for receiving legs; and two foot warmers.

Abstract: This invention is a modular blanket system for double beds essentially built like a ring binder where the rings, called straps, are made of a flexible material and are closed by means of detachable fasteners such as hook-and-loop, snaps or buttons. The use of straps as a binding means allows blanket leaves to be added, subtracted or paged from one side to the other depending on the sleepers' need for warmth or decorative taste.

Abstract: A multi-layer blanket or bed covering has adjacent sides or halves with different insulating properties, yet which resembles a traditional blanket, and which allows people to sleep side by side with different comfort levels for heat or coolness. The blanket preferably comprises three layers on one half of the blanket and two layers on the other. The blanket is preferably made from a single rectangular piece of material which is folded first at a location one fifth of the way in from one side of the rectangular piece of material, and folded second at a location two fifths of the way in from an opposite side of the rectangular piece of material. A stitch down the middle is preferably made after the first fold, and then the blanket is stitched around its four sides after the second fold.

Abstract: A slip cover for a crib mattress. The slip cover preferably comprises a mattress cover with a zippered end through which the crib mattress is easily insertable. Attached to one end of the mattress cover is a bolster, which may comprise a bolster cover and a foam insert. In most applications, the bolster will be generally U-shaped and will comprise an inclined back section and two arms. The slip cover allows continued use of a crib mattress after it is no longer needed in a crib or toddler bed. When placed on a standard crib mattress, the slip cover with its attached bolster forms an ideal portable toddler bed. Alternately, the slip cover converts the mattress into a child-sized chaise lounge ideal for reading or watching television. Still further, the slip-covered mattress may be used as a pet bed, especially for a large breed dog or for multiple smaller dogs.

The zipper includes an open end, a closed end, a zipper pull, and opposing complementary zipper tracks, and a zipper end stop disposed at the closed end of the zipper. The zipper end stop includes an interior support panel, a first securement member affixed to the interior support panel, and a second securement member associated with the opposing complementary zipper tracks. Closing the zipper forms a beg bug impervious seal. The encasement may further include a removable cover.

Abstract: A scarf hides the upper portion of a made bed from view. The scarf includes a portion of material having a length and a width, opposite first and second ends and opposite top and bottom edges. The length of the scarf is sufficient to cover pillows placed on a made bed of standard size, with the opposite first and second ends reaching opposite first and second edges of the bed. The width of the scarf is sufficient so that its top edge hides the top edge of a pillow on the made bed, and the bottom edge hides the bottom edge of the pillow on the made bed. The scarf may be used to cover up the top edge of a bed sheet, blanket or bedspread on a made bed so as to hide said top edge of the bed sheet, blanket or bedspread.

Abstract: The blanket is designed to adjust in dimension and performance, permitting a user to use the blanket in a multitude of situations. The body of the blanket has a head opening and a series of complementary zippers attached to the blanket. Complementary zipper halves are attached to the left and right edges of the blanket body, permitting the right and left edges of the blanket to be attached together or for other blankets of the invention to be attached, forming a larger blanket. Another complementary zipper set includes zipper halves attached to the bottom edge of the blanket and about one third up the blanket to allow shortening of the blanket length. Abstract: A mattress cover is disclosed for redirecting shear on a patient's skin away from the areas of the body relatively more likely to develop decubitus ulcers. The mattress cover includes an upper portion designed to cover the topside of a mattress, and at least one shear transfer zone attached to an underside of the upper portion of the mattress cover. The shear transfer zone(s) may be made of a low shear material so as to create a low friction interface between the mattress and the mattress cover to reduce shear forces exerted by the mattress. Additionally, the shear transfer zone(s) may be arranged such that a large portion of the shear forces exerted by the mattress can be redirected to areas of the body that are relatively less likely to develop decubitus ulcers.

The means for orienting the bedding article on a mattress may be hidden from view when the bedding article is installed on a mattress. The bedding article has two sides, a top end, a bottom, an opening for seating around the bed, an edge around the opening, and four corners, with two corners being at the top end and two corners being at the bottom end. An article for use as a cover for an underlying item is also disclosed, with the article including a cover article and means for orienting the cover article on an underlying item.

Abstract: A method for applying an ornamented design on a substrate employs small-grain particles of a selected range of particle sizes. A film-forming adhesive in liquid form is applied as a bottom adhesive layer on the substrate within outlines of a decorative pattern. The small-grain particles are distributed on the still-wet bottom adhesive layer. A top adhesive layer is applied on the layer of small-grain particles on the adhesive bottom layer. The two adhesive layers merge and are cured to form a flexible film with the layer of small-grain particles permanently embedded therein and adhered to the substrate. In a preferred method and resulting product, sand particles are used to form a decorative pattern on fabric for a T-shirt or other clothing item. Decorative designs may also be formed with other types of small-grain particles, on other types of substrates, and/or for other types of clothing, wearing apparel, or decorative items.

The width of the top strip portion and a height of the side skirt portion is adjustable when the elastic portions are expanded or retracted.

Part of the open peripheral edges optionally have disengageable fasteners. When the changing table cover is placed over a changing table, the inside surfaces of the pocket contacts the changing table while one of the outside surfaces contacts the child. When removed from the changing table, the inside surface remains contained and does not contact the outside surfaces, thereby reducing contamination from any undesirable material that was transmitted to the inside surfaces from the changing table. Preferably, the changing table cover folds into a pouch for ease of transportation.
