Abstract: Rubber composition, especially for a tyre, based on at least one diene elastomer, a reinforcing filler, a crosslinking system and an antioxidant system, wherein said antioxidant system comprises at least two antioxidants “A” and “B”: A. an N-alkyl-N?-phenyl-para-phenylenediamine corresponding to the formula (I): B. a 4,4?-bis(alkylamino)triphenylamine corresponding to the formula (II): in which formulae, R1, R2 and R3, which are identical or different, each represent a linear or branched alkyl group having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms or a cycloalkyl group having from 5 to 8 carbon atoms, the A/B weight ratio being between 0.2 and 5.0. Such an antioxidant system gives the composition of the invention a better long-term resistance to fatigue and to crack propagation.

Abstract: A sizing composition including one or more primary lubricants, at least one secondary lubricant, and at least one coupling agent is provided. The primary lubricant is a fatty amide lubricant that is the condensation product of a saturated fatty acid having at least 16 carbon atoms and a polyamine. Additionally, the primary lubricant acts both as a lubricant and as a cationic surfactant in the size composition when it is neutralized with a weak acid to assist in dispersing the fibers in a gypsum slurry. The secondary lubricant is polyamide or a polyvinyl amine, and acts as a film forming agent in the fiberizing process to protect the glass fibers from interfilament abrasion. The sizing composition provides improved fiber feeding, fiber flow, and fiber dispersion in a gypsum matrix or slurry. The weight ratio by dry solids of primary to secondary lubricant in the size composition is at least 5:1.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments provide nanotube-containing coating compositions and methods for making and using the coating compositions. In an exemplary embodiment, the coating composition can include a plurality of nanotubes (e.g., carbon nanotubes (CNTs)) dispersed stably and uniformly in a polymer matrix containing fluoropolymers. The coating composition can further include stabilizers to allow a stable and/or uniform dispersion of the plurality of nanotubes in the fluoropolymers. The nanotube coating composition can be coated on an article surface to improve mechanical robustness, and electrical and thermal conductivity of the coated article. The coated article can be used as, for example, a fuser member, a fixing member, a pressure roller, or a release agent donor member in an electrostatographic printing machine or process.
